  1. ok do you think the Falcons regret trading for Julio Jones lol of course not, they got one of the best wideouts in NFL history. The fact that he didn't win a Super Bowl is completely irrelevant. Lots of great players never win Super Bowls and lots of mediocre ones do. That doesn't mean you want fewer great players and more mediocre ones on your roster
  2. ridiculous take the Bills gave up top level draft assets to trade up for Josh Allen who has never won a super bowl i suppose you'd call that a mistake
  3. Not sure why this is getting heat It's a very realistic scenario imo
  4. i know this is going to sound like hindsight or sour grapes or splitting hairs or whatever but Diggs' productivity has never (to me) been indicative of his actual abilities as a wideout. we all know his good qualities that helped accumulate those stats. buthe's not a threat after the catch, he's of middling size, and imo his disappearing act in the postseason is largely a result of his lack of the kind of elite physical tools im talking about wanting in your top wideout. diggs is good enough paired w allen to be a top5ish wideout in the regular season. but as stated since we lack top level offensive minds on staff we need guys on offense who can play above scheme in the playoffs. i don't trust our philosophy being capable of elevating a lot of good not great players in the bigger moments
  5. Could not disagree more w this Leaving aside the fact that the Chiefs do in fact have one of the best options in NFL history in Kelce as have the last five super bowl participants...we typically get exposed in the playoffs for being deficient at a lot of areas I don't have to go into because it will sidetrack discussion. Those deficiencies are only going to be overcome w top level talent as the Bills do not have nor seem interested in sourcing top level offensive staff
  6. Do you mean the Green Bay method that wasted Rodgers career or the one w Matt Lafluer designing the offense
  7. I won't speak for Reid, but Kelce was averaging almost 1000yards a season w Alex Smith...Hill has two absolutely elite seasons in Miami w Tua post KC...the argument that they aren't two all time greats w/out Mahomes doesn't hold water
  8. It's not just you fwiw I have no idea what they're talking about about
  9. Do you realize he's a TE lol Antonio Gates had two 1000yard seasons in a sixteen year career Gronkowski and Gonzales both only had four
  10. This is wrong Kelce was on HoF trajectory before playing w Mahomes
  11. unfairly portrayed in the media? lmfao from evidence face value they took it easy on him
  12. pulled 4iron from fairway bunker like 240 out until the guy had to talk him out of it yup thats Allen 😂😂
  13. because give a man a reputation as an early riser and he can sleep in till noon as evidenced by posters in this and other threads...that's diggs and winning/being competitive/et al
  14. So my thoughts on Diggs writ large- I'm very willing to be accused of kicking the guy on his way out because I believed this was inevitable and frankly should have happened last year after it was obvious he wanted out. personally, it's not fun rooting for your second best player when he doesn't want to be on the team anymore. I don't think that's so outrageous altho the amount of apparent new Texans/CJ Stroud fans here would suggest otherwise😂😂 Of course I don't love the state of the WR room rn but I didn't love it last year, so to be too upset over losing a guy who couldn't make a play on the same ball vs the same DB Allen threw for a pick in London that Nico Collins mossed the guy...whether is was desire or ability doesn't really matter anymore imo. He wasn't making the plays we needed and his yearly postseason disappearing act capped by that drop will be my lasting memory of his time here. If I could I'd change my vote to good luck in Dallas 2 seasons from now
  15. catching the ball in the playoffs would be a good start
  16. meh. being right is easy imo making it work when things aren't going right is much more difficult but that's what actual winners do
  17. for a guy supposedly obsessed w winning he has a funny habit of leaving good teams for worse ones
  18. You mean Allen? Or Diggs, the guy who has never shown up for a voluntary OTA?
