  1. The offense was second in points and yards, I mean how deficient could it have been lol
  2. We need a TE that can run a clean route
  3. really nobody got the heart to tell OP just plain saltwater kills plants too smdh
  4. I haven't thought about him since he left, he's made it clear he wants to be thought of as a former Eagle and not a Buffalo Bill so see ya thanks for the yards
  5. Doesn't they usually stay in a hotel on the night before games
  6. that's literally what this thread is about
  7. Bills spend 49% of their cap on defense and 47% on offense Chiefs spend 35% on defense and 55% on offense Bengals spend 41% on defense and 51% on offense
  8. I don't think that matters at this point. He wasn't healthy in either 2021 or 2022 and tbh I don't know if he's ever going to regain top form Imagine if the Basham or Epenesa picks had been used or traded for guys who play offense. I won't claim to know who they might have been or if it would have made a difference but we've seen the defense at what amounts to full strength and it hasn't been getting the job done in the playoffs. That's the rub for people like me who want to shift resources to that side of the ball.
  9. LOL you are the Thomas Edison of bad takes Yes, the injuries to the defense in 2022 played a big role. But those guys were healthy in 2021 and the result was similar, albeit minus Miller
  10. Maybe. I think you significantly undersell the talent the Bills have had on the defensive side of the ball since 2020 in comparison to the Bengals and Chiefs in particular. It also underlines the point of not having enough horses on offense. Which, while not easy, is certainly correctable as your examples illustrate. imo swap any of those teams' HC and coordinators and the Bills make two SBs and probably win a championship
  11. Again: the fact that the Bills' offense is entirely too QB dependent has been known for three seasons at least There were legitimate questions asked when no competition was brought in at WR2 last year or whether Knox and his deal were the answer at TE Efforts to address the offensive line have been underwhelming while the investment in the dline has continued apace This is hardly Monday morning quarterbacking
  12. As stated my contention is that the roster construction and cap allocation under Beane and McDermott is now being rightfully questioned due to lack of post season success Niners have wins too I don't think it's such a stretch to say this team has underachieved in the playoffs considering who we have at QB
  13. Largely imo due to Allen covering for those problems which has been the case for multiple seasons now. They've had what more than three off-seasons to address it now I think The amount of production the offense generates from Allen doing stuff off schedule the last 3seasons isn't always going to be sustainable
  14. Imo the larger issue is the way the team is built conceptually and how that hasn't translated into post season success Fair game to question cap allocation in that sense for me
  15. Fwiw I do think it's a different conversation if we don't have the unlucky injuries from 2022 but I still don't think we win the SB even at full health so there are still questions to be asked
  16. I think less about team friendly re: actual Josh Allen dollars vs cap space and what they do with it
  17. The offense was #2 overall, how many more strides does Dorsey have to take lol
  18. I mean JJSS is a legit talent, Crowder is the guy you bring in to fill a spot. As to the bolded I still say it's the same thing. He threw .87 interceptions per game in 2022 and .88 interceptions per game in 2021
  19. I think it's hard to differentiate there. And Crowder being solid...meh. Chiefs got Smith-Schuster for 3.7M cap space while Bills got Crowder for 1.975M. Obviously Crowder got injured but one is the clearly superior player and they got the value there on offense that the Bills just didn't.
  20. Mahomes has like a $40M cap hit this coming year and they are still going to roll out a better offensive line and similar quality skill players I don't know whether it's a drafting thing or finding value in FA or what but I think his point stands
  21. I think that's the point tho For those interested here's the breakdown: https://overthecap.com/salary-cap/buffalo-bills imo it is totally fair to question whether this is a responsible use of the cap re: investing in your offense
  22. Most teams can afford a wideout and an edge plus more
  23. Almost certainly not true
