  1. Maybe. I think you significantly undersell the talent the Bills have had on the defensive side of the ball since 2020 in comparison to the Bengals and Chiefs in particular. It also underlines the point of not having enough horses on offense. Which, while not easy, is certainly correctable as your examples illustrate. imo swap any of those teams' HC and coordinators and the Bills make two SBs and probably win a championship
  2. Again: the fact that the Bills' offense is entirely too QB dependent has been known for three seasons at least There were legitimate questions asked when no competition was brought in at WR2 last year or whether Knox and his deal were the answer at TE Efforts to address the offensive line have been underwhelming while the investment in the dline has continued apace This is hardly Monday morning quarterbacking
  3. As stated my contention is that the roster construction and cap allocation under Beane and McDermott is now being rightfully questioned due to lack of post season success Niners have wins too I don't think it's such a stretch to say this team has underachieved in the playoffs considering who we have at QB
  4. Largely imo due to Allen covering for those problems which has been the case for multiple seasons now. They've had what more than three off-seasons to address it now I think The amount of production the offense generates from Allen doing stuff off schedule the last 3seasons isn't always going to be sustainable
  5. Imo the larger issue is the way the team is built conceptually and how that hasn't translated into post season success Fair game to question cap allocation in that sense for me
  6. Fwiw I do think it's a different conversation if we don't have the unlucky injuries from 2022 but I still don't think we win the SB even at full health so there are still questions to be asked
  7. I think less about team friendly re: actual Josh Allen dollars vs cap space and what they do with it
  8. The offense was #2 overall, how many more strides does Dorsey have to take lol
  9. I mean JJSS is a legit talent, Crowder is the guy you bring in to fill a spot. As to the bolded I still say it's the same thing. He threw .87 interceptions per game in 2022 and .88 interceptions per game in 2021
  10. I think it's hard to differentiate there. And Crowder being solid...meh. Chiefs got Smith-Schuster for 3.7M cap space while Bills got Crowder for 1.975M. Obviously Crowder got injured but one is the clearly superior player and they got the value there on offense that the Bills just didn't.
  11. Mahomes has like a $40M cap hit this coming year and they are still going to roll out a better offensive line and similar quality skill players I don't know whether it's a drafting thing or finding value in FA or what but I think his point stands
  12. I think that's the point tho For those interested here's the breakdown: https://overthecap.com/salary-cap/buffalo-bills imo it is totally fair to question whether this is a responsible use of the cap re: investing in your offense
  13. Most teams can afford a wideout and an edge plus more
  14. Almost certainly not true
  15. pretty sure they were vacationing together in Hawaii last month
  16. Tldr Montana got knocked out by a 260lb NT
  17. Yes and more importantly throwing against simple defenses w worse players than he's already dominated I have no idea how Bills fans in particular can argue against Brady. The guy is just a killer. Perfect combination of arm/brain/work ethic plus the uncontrollable desire to absolutely rip your heart out. Absolute psychopath clearly the best NFL player of all time and second place isn't close imo
  18. I mean Jack Lambert was 6'4" at 220 and ran a 4.7 40 Tremaine Edmunds is 6'5" 250 and runs a 4.5 40 You drop the average modern NFL player into the 70-80s game and they're a borderline hall of famer. Put Brady in there and he's probably winning the Super Bowl every single year
  19. We're talking about simplified defenses stocked w smaller slower less athletic players, Brady would have won 15 SBs playing in those days imo
  20. He would have absolutely dominated
  21. re the NBA Very few of those guys from the 80s could have played today. They weren't athletic enough, didn't train enough, and the physical defense everyone likes to reminisce about were just fouls if we're being honest.
  22. prediction having a legit wideout for the first time in his career Lamar puts up MVP numbers playing on the tag and Ravens eventually cave and end up giving him everything he wants plus 25% on top in 2024
