  1. I did not hear what everyone else seems to have heard. I heard him 'I wish I was a better - quarterback ... maybe I'd be playing today'. While not entirely clear because he seems to half mumble 'he' or 'I', the second part of the statement would make absolutely no sense if he was referring to Josh Rosen. Who, by the way, is an NFL caliber athlete, but is still the wrong Josh.
  2. On the subject of charity, in case anyone was wondering. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017/9/24/16355250/buffalo-bills-players-support-charities-lesean-mccoy-lorenzo-alexander-colin-kaepernick
  3. Also in on Boyd. It's gone up a couple thousand in minutes. Again, most Buffalo story ever.
  4. Believable. But I wouldn't post it, that I didn't cause trouble with a friend or player. Guy I work with is close friends with a current Bill. Just sayin'.
  5. Fourth in the league is probably a little disappointing, to be honest with you, because that's not where my expectations are.
  6. “A woman was arrested out here in Los Angeles for trading sex not for money but for spaghetti dinners. Would that make her a pastatute?” -Johnny Carson
  7. According to Wiki, Brian Daboll started his coaching career as an assistant at William & Mary in 1997, the same time McDermott was a player there. Not that it means anything, just interesting. Another interesting note (to me anyway) - he ls a St Francis HS (Athol Springs) Alum. I don't advocate anyone, I just started looking through playoff team offense staffs for any connections to coach McD and saw this.
  8. Wait, his real first name isn't Alex? It's like I don't even know who he is anymore. http://www.theonion.com/article/report-friend-has-been-going-middle-name-whole-fuc-54509
  9. Thank you for restoring my faith in reading comprehension. I was beginning to think Jerry Sullivan had multiple aliases on this board. JHC people, get a grip. Maybe review some Schoolhouse Rock lessons.
  10. I've been visiting this site since it's inception in the 90's. I don't know anyone on here personally, but I know which posters provide input I value, and your dad is in the top end of that list. Wishing the best for him, and hope he is able to return here soon.
  11. "Are you a degenerate? Do you have an addictive personality? Well try this new form of gambling that probably won't ruin your life.*" *result not typical. Void where prohibited. Odds of winning dependent on number of entries received. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-09-10/you-aren-t-good-enough-to-win-money-playing-daily-fantasy-football
  12. I hunted down some of the trailers myself, but I just wanted to let you know your links are not all accurate in case you wanted to correct them.
  13. I watched Pandora's Promise tonight. Interesting, but lacking. If you are interested in the subject, this is what you really need to see. If you're interested in the science of nuclear power, better set aside a couple hours. I could not stop watching it.
  14. That looks interesting, I will have to take a look at it. My recent favorites Muscle Shoals Twenty Feet From Stardom Sound CIty Beware of Mr Baker Talhotblond (not a great doc; a murder that took place very close to my boyhood home) Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room Food, Inc. Don't necessarily recommend, but I will give the ringing endorsement of "watched the whole thing". I don't really like when a doc feels like it's exploiting people to make you feel better about yourself. The Imposter Aileen Wournos: The Selling of a Serial Killer Brother's Keeper Nightmares in Red, White, and Blue Vernon, Florida Confessions of a Superhero Others The Queen of Versailles (did not finish) New York in the Fifties (did not finish) The American Scream (did not finish) Room 237 (I wish I didn't finish it, but I did)
  15. Excellent, added to my list. Maybe you would like Dave Grohl's Sound City.
  16. Sorry - to clarify, I feel the same as many others. I'm a Buffalo Bills fan, and will stay that way as long as they stay that way. I answered no because I don't believe a Toronto/JBJ group is committed to keeping the team here, and assume it would be to move them. But while they stay in my hometown, they're my team. If the team were to move to another city, the NFL would be dead to me. Like someone else mentioned, I too haven't followed basketball since the Braves left. Not one single game. I would follow the Sabres, and direct my attention to other interests.
  17. I would ask a professional athlete with experience in long-term rehabilitation of a knee injury. Like Kiko Alonso.
