  1. What the ***** is with all the drops lately? That was the easiest catch Sanders would have made all year.
  2. It is possible to overcome biased officiating. I want to watch us beat the Pats and the officials, but I'd rather we didn't have to worry about the latter.
  3. The contact started before the ball was even thrown. They should have called holding which wouldn't be negated by a tipped ball. But of course, we are playing the Pats.
  4. The CB was never running with Sanders. He takes a couple steps forwards like he expects a short throw and then a couple steps back (maybe in an "oh *****, I read this wrong" moment) before closing on Singletary. At first I thought the CB was cheating toward Singletary based on Josh's eyes, but he was just expecting the dump off the entire time. Sanders blew right by him before Josh even turned to Singletary. There must have been something on film that told the CB where the play was going.
  5. Very similar to the last play against the Patriots. It's now a trend that CBs are playing Josh's eyes more than their man when they're still facing the line of scrimmage. Hopefully Josh and Daboll will use this to their advantage and hit a few deep ones.
  6. I wouldn't say the league is out to get us as much as the league is out to help teams like the Patriots and Buccaneers. Against the Bucs, the Bills had 7 penalties for 65 yards and the Bucs had 4 for 24 yards. That's only 41 yards net, but the combination of non-calls and the bad pass interference directly resulted in a 21 point swing.
  7. WTF are you talking about? You think Diggs committing personal fouls is somehow going to improve the situation?
  8. If we don't get the call when Diggs gets hauled down by his collar or when his shirt is being dragged a yard behind him, we're not going to get the designed interference call. That play only exists for certain teams.
  9. Bob Woods 2.0
  10. Can't think of any reason why the NFL would want the best player of all time to keep winning. You know, the guy that generates the most media attention and jersey sales ever. Curious.
  11. If the other team can throw the ball into the dugout and get a called strike, there is no game plan that will help you.
  12. It failed for a few reasons. The first is that the requirements to overturn the call were so high that bad calls were constantly upheld and everyone got twice as angry. The second is that the people reviewing the calls were just as likely to follow the NFL bias line. Lastly, it just made the game take way too long.
  13. Only if the AI is programmed to favor certain teams.
  14. In this day and age, referees almost never miss the chance to call PI for a jersey grab (that goes double when the receiver and defender are 1on1 in open space), and they just happened to miss it twice? Please.
  15. Again, you're accidently identifying the problem.
  16. Considering "the calls" we're talking about resulted in a 14 point loss for us and a 7 point gain for the Bucs (a net of 21 points) I think it's a given that we would have won otherwise.
  17. The Bills benefited from a soft PI call against the Rams last season. Also, that's the same game where Kroft made a catch and the refs just inexplicably called it an interception for the Rams. So yeah, we got hosed in that game too. Good memory.
  18. Probably would have had more yards if Diggs weren't interfered with on a 60 yard touchdown pass. "Absolutely, we would have won if not for those calls, but you can't blame the calls for us not winning." Brilliant.
  19. So we need to win handily whereas the Bucs only need to win marginally?
  20. And yet that's exactly how the Bucs won the game.
  21. And you don't see that as a problem? Anyway, I'd point out that it is inconsistent only in that it is consistently bad for some teams and consistently good for others.
  22. So you're simultaneously arguing that the officiating wasn't a problem but also that the Bucs and Chiefs use them to their advantage. And now you're simultaneously arguing that the officiating didn't affect the outcome but also that we need to score extra points to beat them. Are you on drugs?
  23. It was far from a perfect game by the Bills, but no team ever has a perfect game. You shouldn't have to worry about beating both the other team and the refs. Even with all those mistakes, we. still would have won fairly easily on equal playing ground.
