So sign another punter until everything gets resolved. If Araiza is innocent, he gets his job back. If he's guilty, cut him. Nobody is going to claim him off waivers right now so he can be on the practice squad until further notice.
-
You are not alone. Which is why it's absurd to have 200+ pages of conjecture before anyone knows what really happened. Gotta let the full truth come out before I make any comments about his future with the team. Clearly the victim in the case deserves justice and sympathy but nobody on the outside knows the extent of Araiza's involvement in the crime.

He's still better than the Carolina commentators. -

Can't touch a QB near the sidelines but it's fine if the QB lowers the shoulder on a guy already out of bounds I guess. -
Warren Sharp fades the Bills - do they even get to 12 wins this year?
MPT replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
That grid was published before the season started based on projected win totals. The Bills were 9th in their model. Retroactively -- based on actual win totals -- the Bills ended up 1st. If I were a betting man, I'd take the over on the Bills' win total this year. But I haven't forgotten that we were 7-6 at one point last year after losses to the Steelers and Jaguars and getting throttled by the Colts. We got better over the off-season but so did nearly every other team in the AFC. -
Bills Mafia Heeds the Call to Action by Dawson Knox

And he would have gotten a lot more love if we didn't have to put all our effort into beating 5 wealthy Nashville donors. Little annoying that they're flouting the spirit of the campaign but it's all for a good cause so we just gotta beat them and get that extra $50k to Buffalo. -
If they read press clippings, they'll see the ones where they got torn a new collective butthole for dropping those games and hopefully have a chip on their shoulders.

I didn't take their ranking into account when I was voting. I think they can have worse statistics and rankings but still be a better defense. To me, it will be all about how they perform against the top quarterbacks and how many 50+ yard rushing TDs they give up.

That game showcased two of the best offensive performances in history. The modern NFL is not designed to allow any defense to stop an offense from scoring if they are playing at that level, especially when both defenses are playing without their best players. The only thing you can do is slow them down and manage the clock. Instead, we called two defensive plays that allowed the Chiefs to do exactly what they wanted to do in as little time as possible.
-
That seems like a contradiction. If you're saying the players shouldn't have allowed the Chiefs to go 45 yards in 13 seconds, then you need to look at the defensive play calls. They were intentionally put in position to prevent a touchdown at the expense of 20 yard plays. That's 100% coaching.

I agree with the sentiment of the post that our offense has very little need for improvement, but we lost that game because of coaching and nothing else.

Rd 3, Pick 89 (25): LB Terrell Bernard, Baylor
MPT replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Data, probably. Film, no. Listen to their collaborative mock draft podcast. The guys from Cover 1 are well aware that Marino knows more about draft prospects. And I'm not saying that as someone who prefers Marino. I like all of them. I think Cover 1's strength is more towards evaluating the pro game and Marino's strength is the draft. -

I agree. I was responding to somebody who said they trusted Cover 1 more than Joe Marino and was pointing out that they all had the same opinion of the pick. -

Tre can. We don't lose that playoff game if he were playing. -

Arguably the most draft knowledgeable Bills fan in the world outside of the organization. You don't have to agree with him but he does have the credentials. -
This might be a shock, but Beane is probably working with better draft intel than the fans.
-
Fills our biggest need at a position that our head coach happens to be most knowledgeable about so I'm happy with the pick and the trade up. The only strange thing to me is how long they were on the clock after the trade. Could mean nothing but I wonder if they were still debating it.
-
Or they just didn't like Booth or Gordon and we stole their top graded corner.
-
If they liked those guys as much as Elam they wouldn't have traded up. So they must have been pretty convinced that Elam was the best choice and didn't want to lose him.

You just listed the only 3 teams in the league with a better TE1 than the Bills. And we signed Howard so I'm not worried about TE depth at all. Last year we were going into games with only 1 active TE on the roster. Edit to add the Bucs to the list of teams with a better TE1 if Gronk returns. Still not worried about our level of TE talent.
-
This is bizarre. "Completely lack TE option." "Von Miller changed the story at linebacker." Forgets we paid Morse, Saffold, and Bates to be our starting interior OL and wants an upgrade over all of them. CB is 6th on the list even though he's only somewhat happy about one of our starters who also happens to be the slot corner. Entertaining read though.

The guy recording the video wasn't very coherent and Josh might not have any idea what he was talking about anyway.
