This is a very weird fixation bro.

Weather records show it was 10 degrees cooler during last year's game with more cloud cover. And I think you're not appreciating the fact that we couldn't rotate players this year because everyone was hurt. Just the sheer number of players leaving with heat sickness or cramps should be an obvious indicator of the difference between the conditions.
-
This is the answer. No team has any business beating any other team in the NFL with everything that was stacked against us yesterday, never mind the only 3-0 team left in the AFC. But we were still only a few mistakes short of increasing our win streak of a 2+ score margin. An injured Gabe dropping a TD, a hurt Allen missing an easy TD throw, and Milano dropping an easy pick-6 prevented this game from being another blowout. We likely don't lose to the Chiefs last year with Tre playing either. Home field advantage will never replace good players and good players win games.
-
As you point out, this game was completely one-sided even though half our team was injured and we made a lot of mistakes and the refs jobbed us at every opportunity. Miami fans can enjoy their Week 3 climax to the season. We had a couple of those against the Pats during the drought era so I know how they feel.
-
The Dolphins are acclimated to that weather and their stadium is designed so their team is in the shade while the opposing team has the sun beating down on them. We also had zero depth left to rotate players anywhere.
-
Well he doesn't sprint 20+ yards every play like receivers and he's not carrying around 100 extra pounds like linemen. That, and he's Josh ***** Allen.
-
Every team has injuries, but you won't find another game where one team was missing its entire starting secondary. And that was just the beginning of our injury list going into the game, in addition to the players who went out during the game. These were extreme circumstances.
-
Well what if we only won half of those games by fewer points? Then we have 7 wins in blowouts, 7 wins in close games, and 7 losses in close games. Everybody is happy.
-
So if they had won by fewer points in the other 14 games you'd be happy?
-
Something was wrong with his hand. It was getting worked on after the play on the sidelines. Hopefully just a cramp but there was obviously something going on with that throw that was out of his control.
-
It wasn't a trick play. Allen bobbled the snap on an attempted spike because we were missing our starting center and then he tried to make something out of it. Just another consequence of missing key players. There are myriad examples like this throughout the game. A hundred little things that all went Miami's way and eventually added up to enough for an inferior team to beat us.
-
This is so dumb. OP I hope one day you find something you care enough about losing to slam a clipboard against a table.
-
Josh should make this public. It is absolutely disgusting that Wilkins has repeatedly grabbed player's balls during a game. He deserves a suspension at the very minimum. In any other workplace he would be fired immediately. Allen has enough pull now that he could turn this guy into a pariah.
-
"...or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so."
-
The refs "missed" that and they "missed" another one of the Dolphins kicking our guy in the head on the SAME PLAY that they called Allen for a personal foul.
-
Yup. Miami will get the same treatment that NE got in our next matchup.
-
He missed a lot of plays due to cramps. And yes I was impressed by the defense today except that one 3rd & 22 play where they dialed up the 13 seconds defense.
-
Why? We only lose close games because otherwise we wouldn't lose at all (except that one Colts game we don't need to talk about). Do you think with a healthy secondary and Gabe and Stef playing at 100% this would have been close? I don't.
-
Yes, thank you. Obviously the number of losses matters for seeding but we showed today that it will take everything going against us (injuries, game condition, referees) for us to lose. At this point I don't even care if we have to play in Arrowhead again except that the fans who live in Buffalo won't get to see us stomp the Chiefs at home.
-
Yeah, we dominated despite everything stacked against us. So why worry? Either we get to the playoffs with half our team injured and we lose OR we get there with our team and kick the ***** out of everyone in our way.
-
We're past the point of being happy about wins we don't deserve. That's where Dolphins fans are today.
-
These posts only matter if you think these two teams are anywhere close to the same competitiveness. They're not. Miami played against a lot of backups and had every single detail break their way and still barely hung on. We'll win when it actually matters and Miami fans will be talking about this game for years because it's all they have.
-
When the referees let the opposing team knock the ball out and then make no effort to spot the ball in a timely manner then what are you gonna do? There was plenty of time for a FG after the McKenzie catch but they got screwed. I'm not gonna hold that against them.
-
The injuries do worry me for the future of the season. But that's not an indictment of the team. It's just luck, or lack thereof. No team ever won the Super Bowl without a majority of their best players.
