  1. Do you think Ford and Morse could have turned the offense we saw today into a super bowl contender? What about last week? We saw this team's offensive potential in weeks 1-4. We got Moss back but we're still wallowing around on offense the past 4 weeks. Clearly we have the personnel to be a top offense, so why are we struggling so much if not for coaching?
  2. I enjoy the wins as much as any fan. That doesn't mean I'm as blind to the shortcomings as other fans. I'd like to see a deep playoff run. It's very possible with this team, but I'm not sure the coaching staff can get us there.
  3. My bad. I thought he was inactive again. I guess his one catch means we did a great job getting our receivers the ball.
  4. We didn't have any significant scratches except John Brown. The Patriots were missing about 20% of their players. This was a blowout on paper. The only reason we almost lost is because we got out-coached again.
  5. Make no mistake, I'm thrilled with the record. I am not thrilled with our chances against the Ravens, Chiefs, and Steelers considering how we've played the last few weeks.
  6. Yeah you're one of the guys who thought we were going to the super bowl in 2008. The record doesn't matter as much as the quality of play when it comes down to the wire.
  7. Do you watch the games or just the final score? We played one of the worst teams in football today and barely won, just like last week. I like to think the Bills' coaching staff is keeping all their best stuff close to the vest and grinding it out against easy teams, but it's getting really hard to keep the faith.
  8. Rebuilding is not an excuse anymore. This is year 4 of the rebuild. This is when teams are supposed to be in the super bowl window with a young QB and can spend big on other positions. They let several quality players walk on defense when they could have easily worked the cap to keep them. Two years ago they said they were clearing all the bad money out so they could create a winning team in the following years, but with the exception of Diggs they're still bringing in washed up Carolina players in place of proven guys.
  9. Some might argue that you go for the kill when you have the upper hand despite a clear disadvantage in matchups. It didn't work out and they still almost won with backups.
  10. Why? Green Bay is playing to their level of talent. Miami is probably playing well above theirs. We are playing below ours.
  11. Hopefully that fumble doesn't discourage McDermott from feeling like an absolute clown. This should have been a blowout win. All phases of football were brutal today for the fourth straight week.
  12. I'm guessing because he hasn't made any impact plays all year.
  13. Milano looks like he's avoiding wrap-ups. He's had a few whiffs today that should have been easy tackles.
  14. They have to stop playing 10 yards off the receivers. QB pressure means nothing if he can just throw it to a wide open receiver without thinking twice.
  15. Yeah I'd really like to see some replays showing coverage. It's really frustrating that Allen isn't throwing the ball and we can't see why. Our guys should be running open all day long against these backups.
  16. Okay that's fair. I don't know people's commenting tendencies. I will suggest, though, that people may just be too busy living in the moment during the good stuff and have nothing but time to vent during the bad stuff.
  17. Stating the obvious is not trolling. The Bills have struggled against really really really bad teams the past two weeks.
  18. Yeah the Patriots are basically committing to run defense and don't have their CB1 and our passing game is garbage. Would like to know if it's the receivers not getting open or Josh struggling.
  19. We don't really know that. He was setting up for the first down. Allen was throwing for yards after catch. Only the Bills know what they practice in that situation.
  20. The Rams and Raiders are quality opponents. Even Miami is looking better than expected. Allen was in the MVP conversation after those games. Something is off the past couple games, but he has been far from a dumpster fire.
  21. The Pats loaded up the box on that play. Somebody has to get open there. And that was a stupid play by Allen stepping out of bounds before throwing it away.
  22. That's what I'm saying. They knew we'd stack the box but they were fine with that. They didn't care that Henry only had 3 ypc because it allowed Tannehill to do whatever he wanted when he dropped back.
  23. That's what I thought. I'm sure Vrabel anticipated us committing to run defense and said "fine, we'll run just enough to keep you committed and then throw it all over you." I don't think the Patriots can pull off the same thing though, especially if White, Wallace, and Milano are healthy.
  24. No need to get nasty, now. I don't think I or anyone else ever called him a QB whisperer. Game planner, defensive schemer, staff assembler, disciplinarian, sure. But not QB whisperer. All that other stuff just allows the QB much more leeway.
