  1. Oh good, another quarterback thread! We should move up and draft : Allen, no Rosen, no Darnold, no Mayfield. We should not move up. Just take the best qb we can at 12. No a qb is too important, we should pay what ever we need to get one of the top 4. We should draft Lamar Jackson. No he is just like TT. We should build our team with our store of draft picks. The qb class is awesome! This qb class stinks! That about covers it. Why do we keep doing this???
  2. I look forward to it. Thanks for the tip.
  3. Ok, so we were second. Alright. Then we're the first NFL team to use the 12th man term. Does that work?
  4. Yes they did. The Wranglers had a loyal following. Hockey is doing well in Phoenix and Southern California as well. The support in Las Vegas is amazing. I hope that is not the case. The ownership and GM remind me of the Bills brain trust. They have made all the right moves over the last year. Let's hope they can sustain their success.
  5. Cool. That sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks.
  6. Seahawks also stole our 12th man and Claim it as their own.
  7. Though it is an unpleasant image to contemplate, I like your style.
  8. Sorry to get back on topic, but reading the deluge of the qbs available this year, I am not sold on any of them as a sure thing. I an in favor of staying at 12 and follow our draft board. Pick the best qb that falls to us either at 12 or 22 . This draft has too much talent at other positions to give up the farm to reach for an over hyped qb. This has the feel of the 2013 draft when the Bills brain trust had to get their qb. We all saw how well that worked out.
  9. As much as I love the Sabres, I have been a Las Vegas resident since 2001. It has been an amazing season for the Golden Knights. That goal by Karlsson was a thing of beauty. It is going to be fun to see how this upstart team (Las Vegas born) can do in the playoffs. Each player plays with a chip on his shoulder. On their opening night they had a moving ceremony honoring the victims and survivors of the 1 October shooting. Last night, their last home game of the regular season, they raised a banner with the names of the 58 players that list their lives in the shooting. They announced that the number 58 would never be worn by a Golden Knight. This town has embraced the team in an amazing fashion. I doubt that the raiders will get that kind of support from the Las Vegas fan base. Go Knights!!!
  10. I agree with you. We owe Ralph a great deal. He make sure that after his death, the bills would remain in Buffalo. It just bothered me that in the 70's I was so hopeful that the bills would regain the glory of the 60's championship teams only to find out that Ralph would not let that happen. He turned it around. I just changed the way I look at those days in the 70's . As was stated earlier, Ralph could be very generous to charities and to fellow owners. I will never dump on Mr. Wilson.
  11. Those were the days. Both good times and bad.
  12. Lou was a great coach for the Bills. It is surprising he came back for a second tenure with the bills having dealt with Ralph before.
  13. I am amazed that no charges were filed. I am happy for Zay, but what does it take in LA to violate the Law?
  14. You're right. As Wilson came to grips with his mortality, I believe he did want to win it all. He gave it everything he had during the mid 80's on. I forgot about Jeffcoat. He was a really good player for the cowboys.
  15. You and I are of a similar era. My first memories of the Bills are from 1963. As a youthful observer, I had high hopes for our team. I appreciate the lengths that Wilson took to keep the team in buffalo, but this still blows.
  16. In a recent and exclusive interview conducted by the buffalo News with Simpson, OJ said that during his playing days Wilson did not want to build a championship team because then "everyone would want a raise". I know OJ is not the most credible source, but living through those Bills teams of the 70's and looking back at the way Ralph managed it makes sense. My family had season ticket from 1973 until I let them go in 2011. I had moved to Las Vegas and could no longer get enough buyers to purchase the tickets. Being in the stand and being one of the many fans shouting Juice, Juice, Juice was an incredible experience. But like most bills fans, I gave my heart and soul to this team and anguished over every loss. If Wilson really felt this way, I am kind of PO'ed. It makes me more grateful that we have Pags as our owner. I truly believe he wants to build a winner. I did not see a thread started on this topic and I thought it was a good break from all of the "my college qb is better than your college qb" threads that we have endured and will continue to do so until the draft.
  17. Thank you. All the speculation on if we are moving up, who we are going to draft, etc... is mind numbing.
  18. RIP Mr. Benson. He was an Awesome owner.
  19. Not a fan of the new regime? They are restructuring the entire team to fit their vision. Have some patience. It will take a little time.
  20. That is quite an endorsement for McCarron. I hope you are right.
  21. Great Post. I realize the Tyrod detractors just want the bills to win, but you are right. We owe a great deal to TT and I wish him only the pest in his future career.
  22. That is a good perspective. I agree that McDermott and Beane are working their plan to perfection and will not overpay for players. You are a man of vision.LOL
