Ex 90s Bills that have SB rings
longtimebillsfan replied to Yav's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nice job doing your research. This was really an interesting read. Thank you, -
I have been thinking the same thing. We have no one that has a history of developing quarterbacks on our staff. will drafting a franchise quarterback be a waste if we don't know what to do with him?
-
With the ups and downs we have experienced as Bills fans since the hiring of Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane, I got to wondering what the over all confidence do the Bills fans have in this duo. They did take us to the playoffs, even after cutting or trading several players that made many fans believe that the team was tanking in 2017. Now in 2018 we are seeing the Jets trade up to the third pick in the first round while many are frustrated that the Bills will stay at 12 and 22. Others believe that the Bills will do whatever it takes to move up in the draft to select the quarterback they covet the most. Through in the many obvious needs and the new openings on the offensive line, and it seems that McBeane has their work cut out for them. So What do you think? Is the Bills brain trust up to the task? ( I will conduct this poll again after the draft)

Who would you draft and where?

Take the best quarterback at 12, then take the BPA with our remaining picks. -
Do you have opinions on any of this draft class quarterbacks. I would appreciate hearing your opinion so we can get a perspective in a couple of years. I favor Rosen, Mayfield, Darnold, Jackson, and Roudolph in that order. If we must select from the second tier of quarterbacks, I would favor Falk and Lauletta.

Would you offer this trade
longtimebillsfan replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
O'Dell is obviously talented, but he would not be happy on a rebuilding team. He would be a disruption in the locker room. But, if that trade was made, I still favor Josh Rosen. I like his accuracy and size. I think the other issues about him are over hyped. -
Kyle Lauletta story on Bleacher Report.

I have to say I thought Lauletta looked like the best qb at the Senior bowl. But then, so did EJ Manuel. -
Oh good, another quarterback thread! We should move up and draft : Allen, no Rosen, no Darnold, no Mayfield. We should not move up. Just take the best qb we can at 12. No a qb is too important, we should pay what ever we need to get one of the top 4. We should draft Lamar Jackson. No he is just like TT. We should build our team with our store of draft picks. The qb class is awesome! This qb class stinks! That about covers it. Why do we keep doing this???

I look forward to it. Thanks for the tip.

Ok, so we were second. Alright. Then we're the first NFL team to use the 12th man term. Does that work?
-
Yes they did. The Wranglers had a loyal following. Hockey is doing well in Phoenix and Southern California as well. The support in Las Vegas is amazing. I hope that is not the case. The ownership and GM remind me of the Bills brain trust. They have made all the right moves over the last year. Let's hope they can sustain their success.

Cool. That sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks.

Seahawks also stole our 12th man and Claim it as their own.

Though it is an unpleasant image to contemplate, I like your style.

Sorry to get back on topic, but reading the deluge of the qbs available this year, I am not sold on any of them as a sure thing. I an in favor of staying at 12 and follow our draft board. Pick the best qb that falls to us either at 12 or 22 . This draft has too much talent at other positions to give up the farm to reach for an over hyped qb. This has the feel of the 2013 draft when the Bills brain trust had to get their qb. We all saw how well that worked out.
