  1. He absolutely wanted to pitch it to Cook. Glad he didn't, would've been a poor choice. On the flip side the Cooper flip to Josh was a play of the year and I don't want Josh to ever lose who he is. Good times.
  2. I can agree with this post while at the same appreciate the "know-it-all" posters who would clearly be coach of the year perennially given the opportunity.
  3. I'm still rolling with the Squirrel Winters t-shirt. The Bruce jersey hasn't made it out of the closet this year. Good times.
  4. Guess #1: the players responsible for the turnovers Guess #2: the players who dropped passes Guess #3 (sorry for not playing by your rules): the head coach who led a team that lost due to turnovers and dropped passes.
  5. I went from elation that they missed the two point conversion to dread at the thought that the game came down to covering an on-sides kick in bad conditions vs. trusting Josh to get us into FG position with 1:33 and two time outs left.
  6. If we didn't make it and the Ravens went 98/99 yards and didn't need a 2 point conversion the other y'all folks would be out in full force. It was a choice with no guarantee either way.
  7. You missed #4 imo. Take your chances in OT if 1-3 go the wrong way. The worst of the 4 but still a shot to win.
  8. The way to catch a knuckleball is to wait until it stops rolling and then pick it up. I can't count the number of times I've said "Juuuust a bit outside!" or went to a game and said "I must be in the front row!" RIP to a legend.
  9. Ex-Jet Aaron Glenn's name comes up a lot.
  10. Interesting comparison. Raiders got stuck behind the success of the Steelers dynasty and missed out on one SB opportunity due to the immaculate reception - and yes I get that play wasn't a failure on the coaches - still an interesting comparison on the thin line between winning and losing for the also-rans Ironically some think the Steelers team that lost to the Raiders in the 1976 championship game was their strongest team of that era- I looked it up and they gave up 9.9 points per game that year.
  11. Didn't Rex also send IK out for the coin toss against the Jets? That was equal parts humous and classless.
  12. After taking the Pats game off, the Squirrel Winters t-shirt was back yesterday and once again led us to victory. If you've been following the saga of my pre-game grocery shopping and it's karmic impact on the Bills: yesterday due to circumstances outside of my control I did not go grocery shopping until after the game, yet the Bills still won. It's clear to me now that my grocery shopping was a red herring and I will never speak of it again. And there's no truth to the rumor that I plan on having herring for my pre-game meal next Sunday.
  13. Common sense is the coach should expect his kicker to be far closer to the middle on a kick from that distance.
  14. Pretty sure the last time we saw the Broncos watch party was after they went up 7-0. Good times.
  15. I file these commercials under "There's a sucker born every minute."
  16. Appreciate the grounded perspective. FTR, I have no idea what he'll be and wish him all the best.
  17. I lean right (imo both parties suck), but burning LA on purpose? Does anyone really buy in to that rhetoric?
  18. Today I plugged in a USB drive with some music I was listening to a few years back. Came across two songs I forgot about that are diametrically opposed. One is bad ass the other candy ass (stick around for the guitar solo a minute in).
  19. So you start with equating the NFC winning 'almost 60%' with pummeling the AFC - a questionable premise to begin with imo - and then move on to all that matters to AFC teams at this point is the top 1 NFC team - which going into the playoffs is a team the Bills defeated - and then you see fit to mention the Bills playing in the biggest doormat division. How do you reconcile the Bills beating the top dog in the big bad NFC on the road with your dispute of the narrative that the AFC is better than the NFC and claim that the Bills play in the biggest doormat division?
  20. All the best to you and yours.
  21. I purposely did not wear my Squirrel Winters t-shirt or go to a supermarket pre-game. The loss clearly confirms my past karmic contributions to Bills wins - what's unclear is whether it was the shirt or the shopping. Stay tuned.
  22. By nixing a trade for Jeudy based on Madden stats.
