  1. I'm late to the party but did you really try to diminish Kelce as just a 34 yo tight end? And while I get this hindsight, who do you put the geriatric's performance on today - the coach or the GM?
  2. LOL - I put down Super Joe for SS/CF too. Couldn't agree more with the bolded - one of those guys where the more he plays the less you appreciate him. I'm not about to hype up the Mets off season or upcoming year - missing out on the Yamamoto was disappointing and the Mauricio injury was depressing. At the same time beyond hoping for Yamamoto I didn't expect any big moves. I'm looking forward to seeing which of the young guys step up/down - and same with the vets - especially Marte.
  3. At its core do you think Comeback Player is anything more than a feel good award?
  4. Wowsers on Clavin and Wolfman! But I do remember the vocal chord bit - that's my enduring memory of the movie. It was a drive-in double feature. Me and the boys were there for the beers and bongs as much as the movie. BTW a dormant synapse fired and I'm pretty sure the other movie was Slaughter Hotel. Probably the second feature cuz I have zero recollection of the movie but google says it was a movie.
  5. Nice post. For the record I'm not completely on board with Sean, but I'm still waiting for someone to make a cogent argument against your point.
  6. Not sure whether the Bills have the best fans or how you even judge that, but as a life-long out-of-towner it's a unique, highly passionate and good-hearted fan base that I'm proud to have an association to.
  7. He's already managed pretty well without Tyreek.
  8. Wow, I hadn't heard of that movie in ages. I saw it as a double feature at a drive-in along with another movie that I think had Hotel in the name. I can't honestly say IO remember much of Motel Hell - except for people being buried up to their necks?
  9. He can share a beer with that long nosed dude that is on a similar crusade for clicks/subs except against 17.
  10. Not to me. Elway lost 3 SB's and then won 2 - all with the same team.
  11. A large portion of the fan base want Sean gone, I get that and it's a legitimate debate. However the bolded above could have stopped at I don’t understand. The rest is laughable imo.
  12. Since we're lamping... As an out of market Bills fan who has a distaste for the extremes of social media/discourse I feel fortunate to have stumbled upon this site years ago. Appreciate all the positive and negative perspectives year round along with the wit, sarcasm...and intolerance for trolls. But more to the point I appreciate the thin connection me and my family have to what is by all accounts a fan base made up of great peeps. Go Bills!
  13. Me too on the MO - when the pass went up I was surprised they went end zone. Only reason I was OK with it was cuz it looked like an easy TD. I'm probably in the minority but I lost hope when they lined up for the FG - I didn't think we stood a chance of stopping KC from a winning FG with 1:45 and 2 TO's. When Bass missed I actually had more hope that we could get a stop and Josh could work some magic and get us to OT.
  14. LOL - yesterday I heard a radio guy call it the N iF L. That was a new one to me and completely accurate. BTW, always appreciate your point of view.
  15. I've debated this with my son since the game ended. I had no problem with the end zone shot cuz to me it was wide open but the pass just didn't get there. But I get his/your point and in real time I was surprised that they took the shot instead of sticking with a shorter gain and killing the clock. The one thing I read here on another thread that gave me pause wrt the pass to the end zone - if the pressure from Jones caused the incompletion is it possible a pass to Diggs would have also been incomplete?
  16. What circumstances are you referring to?
  17. I agree with the bolded. We needed a TD on that drive.
  18. I still expect the 49ers to win this game. They are formidable.
  19. Those were the two that stuck out to me. Garrett had a long run but not overly successful. For the guys that retained the position it would be interesting how their longevity compares to the average first time coach.
  20. Here's an article that lists all the interim coaches since 2000. Mostly uninspiring. https://www.profootballrumors.com/2024/01/the-nfls-interim-coaches-since-2000
  21. LOL, not sure what the qualifier is either, nor do I care.
  22. I always had a soft spot in my heart for low budget movies that exceeded expectations. The other night I introduced my son to one of my faves: Repo Man. Hadn't seen it in years and it still held up - as a B movie. Post 'em if you got 'em
