  1. Nah, this is absolutely the right year to trade up if we can get good value. We have nine draft picks. Nine rookies are not making this roster. Might as well spend a few to get the guys we really want, if they're there.
  2. FAILURE. But seriously though, winning the division should absolutely be our primary regular season goal. None of us are spoiled and I certainly won't turn down a wildcard berth, but the division is there for the taking.
  3. Houston lost the game on their last possession. They had all kinds of time and were able to move the ball, but they milked the clock and were clearly just playing for a FG to force OT. That drive was a good illustration of how their team went into a shell after the Bills scored those four unanswered TDs to get back into the game.
  4. I would have to go with the Dallas game, but Dawson Knox deserves honorable mention for making the Cincinnati defense look silly. https://www.buffalobills.com/video/can-t-miss-play-dawson-knox-rumbles-through-bengals-defense
  5. Josh Allen would have completed that 4th down attempt for a TD. That roll-to-your-right-throw-back-to-the-left is like the Platonic form of a JA play.
  6. Oh well. I think he would have been a nice fit here, but on to the combine.
  7. Man, I know this was a long time ago, but I am still gutted over this one. I thought Ngata was totally ours, and then we drafted Whitner. Gutted.
  8. At this point, with no FA moves and no draft picks in, 8.5 wins seems about right to me. I'm pulling for the over of course, but our schedule isn't going to be as soft next year and we could easily finish the season with a better roster but worse record. Last year's line of 6.5 was ludicrously low and it was pretty easy to predict that we were going to cover it with room to spare. Not so sure about this one.
  9. It'll just be that much more impressive when we go 13-3 and make a deep playoff run.
  10. I thought that was fairly clear OPI. Maybe not the most blatant I've ever seen, but still pretty obvious.
  11. I imagine a "least favorite coach" poll would be really close between Rex, Marrone, and Jauron. A trifecta of incompetence.
  12. Trent Edwards. That offense was just dreadful to watch while he was under center.
  13. We consistently seem to win about two games more than our roster suggests every season. For three seasons. Some of the in-game decision-making is off IMO (it is for most teams), but the W-L results are there, and they've obviously done a great job in turning the culture around.
  14. I have a very high confidence level in this coaching staff and front office, and I haven't been able to say that in decades.
  15. Maybe he and Kraft can get a volume discount on legal fees.
  16. As soon as the Bills and Patriots were knocked out, I lost any rooting interest in any of the remaining games. I'd mildly prefer an AFC SB winner, but I don't really care much. Training camp can't get here fast enough.
