  1. No problem wanted to get some numbers in the thread and as I said we could get them if we absolutely had to have them.
  2. I don’t disagree that we can manage the cap to sign those players but Morse’s is 19 mill this year. I have 19 + 7 (Kraft) + 2 (Gore) + Johnson (didn’t see the #s) - 4 * min contracts = 26 mil +. Again we can do things to manage to get the listed players but one thing I wouldn’t do is mortgage the future after doing such a good job front loading contracts.
  3. I don’t see the concern with RB and CB. Gore is better than ivory so we upgraded. Johnson will push Wallace for starter and will be back up if there are injuries. The contracts look fine and don’t stop us from going after some other prizes (now and the next year). That you wouldn’t have bothered is the problem. You would’ve been happy with our current rbs and cbs? These are solid moves that will probably look good in hindsight rather than in the moment. I don’t start many threads but I did love the Poyer signing.
  4. I was combining the posts sorry. You said ACC mediocre and then pointed to an article from this year. I was trying to say that article was not relevant to your point that you think he played in a mediocre conference. He played his senior year in 2014 when FSU was coming off its title and Clemson was ascending. I think that it was likely the second best conference at that time. Certainly more than mediocre. Also hus junior year he lead the ACC in pass deflections. I couldn’t find targets anywhere but I wouldn’t be surprised if people stopped targeting him, assuming the other wake DBs we’re not good.
  5. Not really relevant. Johnson played 2010-2014. ACC was performing at a much higher level at that time. (Also HA! that ACC is worse than PAC-12)
  6. Did you just call the ACC a mediocre conference? Its not the SEC but they are likely the second best conference in football. Also college can be weird. You might not have stats because no one targeted your match up (cause you had them covered).
  7. I think Harry's more of a deep threat than people realize. DB's played off him a lot which is why he got a lot of underneath stuff. The reason they backed off is cause he could beat you over the top. At times his tape shows him struggling a bit with press coverage, but if he gets behind you its over. He was really good when he got a step on player.
  8. I’m so high on this guy right now. From the draft breakdown videos no one else really did anything for them. I think he drew double coverage all the time. Still made circus catches and huge runs in big situations. Getting physical at the line of scrimmage maybe his biggest weakness but he still show an ability to beat it. He’s a serious home run threat too. To another poster he didn’t get behind players as much in 2018 because it looked like he faced more off and over the top coverage after showing his deep ability in 2017.
  9. Felt like it was the QB from the tape I watched. His body control was really outstanding too. That’s not something the combine can really measure well. I am pretty high on Harry looks like he can do it all.
  10. I loved his tape. He created some plays out of nothing at some big times. The Oregon game was rough at times. Think he had 2 catches he should make go through his arms. But ASU could literally not get him the ball enough (lots of balls skipped to him). Depending on FA I would be very happy with him in the 2nd
  11. He as injured in the pocket. I don't want designed runs so I don't see him getting to 1K on the ground. I agree with 3500+ through the air would be the goal.
  12. Watched him vs Georgia and then vs Florida on YouTube. Heck of a pass defender. Run support looked weak but not for lack of effort. Definitely worth a day 3 pick. Not sure if he’s highest on the board in the 4th but definitely in the 5th. Give him some time in a weight room and his run support might get a lot better. I also agree on the poyer comparisons although poyer was a cb in college not a safety iirc. One thing also in the Florida game he dropped a pick; the next play was a first down he wasn’t involved in but he looked dejected presumably because of his drop. Think McBean would really like him.
  13. Not sure about top 10 but he looks great on film. Just look for the draft breakdown of him on every play. I would be ok with a trade down and taking him.
  14. I really don’t want Allen in many designed runs as the piece is expecting. Let him scramble where he was super efficient. But if he becomes a running back that’s not gonna help too much
  15. Everyone’s moving in to shi tpa town
  16. Really liked your contributions to this thread but wanted to reply to this topic. I think coahes could get to the accuracy/precision distinction. As you mentioned it’s all about getting the ball where it needs to be. coaches could see a lack of precision as evidenced by a change in or sloppy mechanics. That would lead to more reps for muscle memory. Or they could see his front foot not pointed correctly thus not being accurate despite consistent mechanics. Maybe they don’t talk about accuracy or precision but I think they talk in this way. If that’s the case I would think they are having an accuracy/precision discussion without knowing it.
  17. So I am not a big fan of highlight videos at all. I suggest you just put the name into youtube with "vs" and see what pops up. Harry's game against Utah this year was sick. ODU edge was pretty good against ECU and he was almost constantly double teamed or chipped by the RB. The Iowa TEs have been interesting in the draft breakdowns. I like Hock better but I need to watch some more. Haven't gotten a chance to see more of other players.
  18. My problem is you only present Reich as another option, and he (even if we had hired to the Bills) would not be allowed to coach Josh right now. Please give us something constructive by telling us someone Josh Allen should be training with. And please remember he is not allowed to practice with the staff per the CBA
  19. But the point a lot of folks are making is that we aren't up against the cap at the moment. So by this logic its not really a terrible thing that we are overpaying him which is my opinion.
  20. I think we’re on the clock
  21. Haven’t seen anything. The bills depth chart has him behind Gaines and Pitts. Do we trust that since he started last week. That chart has gained starting https://www.buffalobills.com/team/depth-chart
  22. Think of how much better Allen could be after he watched for a year. ?
  23. Still pumped for the kid. Buy him some gloves. I don’t think it’ll hurt his almost 50 yard average
  24. RPO all day please
  25. Yeah I posted that up thread. I’m not sure how folks can argue the results. They played Texas A&M and dominated that phase of the game. My sound was off but that looked like a drill more than live game. Kid can really boot it from his video. I love the frequency of 50 yard fair catches.
