  1. I am very happy with their product that I pay for. If you listen to any content creator they have great respect for cover 1 almost certainly. GunnerBill had a disagreement iirc but that was a while ago. I strongly recommend watching their josh Allen film breakdowns. Best 48 hours of my life that I’ve spent. As for badolbillz I also had a bad experience last off-season and put him on mute. But his in season takes we’re reasonable. So considering putting him back on ignore for the off-season based off his antics in this thread. Will see about in season.
  2. Last year when they immediately stashed Stevenson in IR effectively only having 6 WR for opening day and the rest of the year? So you think they’ll stash someone on IR? I do think this is the year to keep 7 but it’s disingenuous to say they kept 7 last year. You can only protect players once they make it onto your PS. So he would have to be cut and not picked up by other teams. Then I think he can still be picked up by other teams as PS protection seemed to be a COVID thing. I wouldn’t guarantee he gets picked up by another team but I don’t want to risk it. I don’t think McBeane does either considering they traded up to get him.
  3. why lucky? couldnt he just be the best punt returner? he also has more outside experience than mckenzie. i would like more depth there. i have austin with higher odds of making the roster than stevenson and mckenzie at the moment (though him and lil dirty are close)
  4. Thanks @YoloinOhio surprised there isnt more discussion on OTAs. Is Poyer gonna talk to the media? That will be a very interesting media session.
  5. Agree but we could quickly become a TE heavy division. Pats have the most investment, but Jets signing Uzomah and Conklin could indicate a switch to more 12 personnel. If we have two division opponents that run 12 or 21 personnel > 40% that would be be a reason to put another LB on the field. Not counting CHI (though new coach), BAL, or a philosophy change in MIA (SF is > 40%).
  6. I agree about Taron being super good but I think he does come off the field a bit more. We talk about Milano injury history, but Taron ended 2018 on the IR and missed 4 games during 2019 with injury. Giving him 15% less snaps I dont believe will hurt the defense that much and could protect Taron long term which is what I want considering the money you mention (protect that investment). I agree with others we have been base nickel for McD/Frasier's time but the two NE games last year were some of Tarons lowest snap % of the year (Jags game was 18% so maybe someone can remind me of an injury). Adding in that the Dolphins and NYJ want to run the 49ers wide zone and quick pass offense, I could see more 4-3 base (will concede that Taron played a lot of snaps in NYJ #2 2021 and SF 2020).
  7. What? Singeltary is one of the 5 worst athletes on the team. Cook is explosive. I can show RAS scores later
  8. I encourage you to think about how many snaps they want RB1 and RB2 to play. I expect they want very similar touches for the two and that’s why they force feed moss the first 3/4 of the year. With that perspective we have upgraded RB2 which is effectively half a starter with this perspective.
  9. I love Tre (and this pick) but he is not one of the best tackling corners in the league. Actually, Levi was the best tackler. McD typically has below average tackling teams. Theres only one prospect ranking that mattered it had Elam as BPA. Agree time will tell, but he was definitely BPA on Beane's board as he was the last first round grade left. I think the thing most rankings lack is access to medicals and interviews; as such, they are missing a very important part of the process.
  10. To the underlined I dont believe that (at least not in the first round). His draft record clearly points to picking high ceiling low floor players in the first (see: Allen, Edmunds, Oliver, Rousseau). Wow I liked the thought process and then you veered off. We got bounced by a speedy WR so we should get a speedy CB to counter was my expectation. I think your wishful thinking got in the way of your logic.
  11. I would also say edge and OT both help push CB and WR our way.
  12. omfg didnt watch to the end of the play. Thanks. why does pro football reference not have it recorded? Maybe im missing it there
  13. I cant find this fumble. Can someone please show me. I dont have any punt returns for Mckenzie this past playoffs yes pro football reference has only 2 fumbles to his name but he misfielded the ball in the miami game week 8 (inside the 20), misfielded the kickoff in the WFT game (inside the 20), and fumbled in the colts game that lead to 7 points (inside the 20). the stats are not capturing all the critical mistakes he made. For the record Stephenson is not the answer either. Miami (@ 1:13:30) WFT (@ 40:42)
  14. Im with you. WR or CB in Round 1 please. The lack of action on CB has been very apparent. Its not like Beane and McD to not have a plan so I trust they are gonna do something they have confidence will net a good player and they can execute. This has me me thinking they like a target they know they can get at the end of round 1 or they feel confident they can move up to get in round 2. Moving up in round 1 just feels as if it could be too pricey to be the plan.
  15. Im also cooling on edmunds for the money reason. the improving each game is for 2020 i believe. Last year Klein only replaced edmunds in the colts game and the Jets # 1 game. Also agree on CB is the primary need. To the OP i hesitate to trade up as it will cost too many top 100 picks which I think are very important to our continued success.
  16. Sorry need to fight silly Edmunds narratives. It is categorically untrue that Klein filled in well for Edmunds. I have contended that the data suggests we have better run defense with Edmunds in the line up. Please prove either the defense or run defense did better with Klein in over Edmunds.
  17. Opportunity cost would be my concern with drafting LB so high. If we do then I think Edmunds is definitely gone. If youre drafting a back up LB on day 2 then you are missing out on developmental starters that will play at WR and iOL.
  18. They didn’t. The OP said the last two years. The game I think you’re referring to was against the pats in 2019. I remember Xavien Howard got him once on a really nice play (this year 1st game I think). JC Jackson last year in the first game. Can’t remember the last one
  19. I agree we have too many picks but it’s gonna take premium picks to get higher in the first round and I don’t want to lost them. Move up in the 3rd or 4th. Sure spend those later picks. But moving up in the first is gonna cost more than I want to give up
  20. We had shady that year so was gonna call it a tie if not in our favor. However, looking back that 2017 defense was not as good as last years pats D
  21. Look at the bills 2017 roster to see. Unless you think Tyrod taylor is that much better than cam. Cause I think O line and WR last year for the pats were better. I would have to check how similar the defenses were but I think McDermott could have gotten quite a lot done.
  22. I agree mid season is a bit exaggerated, but I wouldnt be surprised if he started on the PUP. Thats 6 games right there. He may be ahead of schedule but that means to me that hes trending towards a nine month recovery (9-12 months typicall). That means hes available in Sept. I would rather be cautious and put him on the PUP to start the season as end of the season is more important. Appreciate that thank you. I would still say 9.7 is very high. Strength is not in the prototype for Bills at the position so not worried about that (particularly with his arm length). Looking at some of the McD/Beane picks at CB agility doesnt seem to particularly critical. Tre, Josh Norman, James Bradberry, and Daryl Worley are all okay or poor at agility. Again really appreciate you showing me the other scores!
  23. Havent heard woolen mentioned in this thread yet. Just a couple notes. I think he is the best athlete at the position this year (RAS has him best ever, though no agility scoring). He has only played the position for 2 years. Marino says hes very hungry when hes talked to him at combine and on Draft dudes. So hes a player with traits, went to senior bowl, new to position so tons of upside, fits the prototype at the position for Bills, and wants to be coached up (something we say McD is good at). Its a "reach" but only cause he doesnt quite know how to play the position yet. If you have confidence he can learn I think he could have a first round grade. Much of this sounds like Rousseau and I think theres a lot of the signs to say we would be interested at 25.
  24. Yes I trust the coaching staff to get the best players on the field for the playoffs. I think the end of the season demonstrates it perfectly. They have admitted they were limiting reps for Beasley and Diggs. They fiddled with the line (some of it injuries) during the season almost every year. I think they will continue to fiddle for the first 3 quarters of the season so they can find the best players for the playoff push. That will mean we play worse at the start of the season and have some head scratchers. I agree I don't quite see Stevenson breaking out.
