  1. which makes no sense. Epenesa played 3 times more and was not noticeable? Babich also played man twice as much as usual which made no sense and was a disaster. I get it there were injuries and a general lack of talent, but Babich should have a lot to answer to on his game calling Sunday. Also, on the season this was a bottom five defense on 3rd down and a bottom ten defense on yardage given up.
  2. At least by not playing much this year he was able to maintain an elaborated notebook. My guess is that some team thinks they can salvage him and we get a 6th for him??
  3. Isn't efficiency measured by TD'S scored when inside the 20? On KC's game winning FG drive they were on our 10 yard line and settled for a FG. Seems that makes them somethingless than 6 for 6??
  4. This is a bit of a lazy take. I thought he was one of the better defensive players on Sunday. Led the teams in tackles, wasn't picked on in coverage, and wasn't beaten in general and certainly not beaten deep. Hamlin and Elam were getting killed in coverage. Bernard had a sub par game and Rousseau had his worst game of the season against a back up tackle with 30" arms. Douglas, Oliver, D. Williams, Phillips and Bishop were the 5 that didn't suck. Maybe my bar is low??
  5. The thinking that the league "wanted" KC back in the Superbowl is absolute BS. There would have been no better/bigger story for them than Detroit vs Buffalo. KC is old news, and if anything, the league probably would have preferred they lose. Public is sick of KC. Now the refs sucked but unrelated
  6. Feeling a bit better. Sunday night I had trouble sleeping so it was a long work day Monday. We are Buffalonians so we take these things ridiculously hard, but, in the end it has nothing to do with us/our decision making. I think we are the better team and we have the better QB, but we don't have the better coaches nor the better front office and we executed somewhat poorly on Sunday. If Josh was given the protection that Mahomes got he would have put up 50 points. Cook getting only 16 touches is borderline insane - he should be on the field 80% of the time not 55%, including the last drive. Every other defense this year allowed less points to KC than Buffalo D did Sunday. KC played a lot of bad defenses this year. Not going to get into the refs as we should have won despite them. This is on the coaches and front office as much as or more than the players. Look at our draft picks in recent years compared to KC's. I'm at peace with myself, disappointed, but their constant failure vs KC is not on me
  7. Typically a stat indicative of success. Unfortunately, sometimes we can't outscore what the defense gives up
  8. Yeah I wish Josh wouldn't have dropped that heroic 4th down pass he threw. I'm starting to wonder if a good portion of this board even understands football.
  9. Hilarious
  10. I recommend the NHL - we have a great team in the Sabres......
  11. Please reconsider breaking cardinal rules on positing. If you blame Josh at all I'm not sure what to tell you. His throw to Kinkaid was absolutely heroic and only he could make that throw.
  12. I was spending north of $50,000 on 4 tickets, etc....I wouldn't call it "saving money" as I'd give my left b*ll to be able to spend that and see a Superbowl.
  13. I think it was a relatively routine catch for an NFL receiver. A lot of other things could have happened to win the game (spot, try a GDFing sneak to the right, run Cook more than 13 times when he's averaging 6.5 YPC) but just make the catch.
  14. Need a stud UFA WR- a higgins type
  15. Best hands in the draft my asz. He catches that ball (and it's a routine catch as far as I'm concerned) and we have first and 10 on the 25. Sickening as is the 4th and one ball placement (14 point swing).
  16. I think Safety is a huge need of ours. I don't think Hamlin is a starting safety in this league and I think Rapp is a below average safety. I do have hope for Bishop cuz he has the athleticism to be successful. a shutdown corner would be nice too. I think douglas walks, Elam is cut and #47 is a bit above average and now has 2 concussion in 7 days.
  17. Agreed - some people on this board don't seem to understand football or overreact. KC has a real DC that can generate a pash rush while Babish failed miserably as far as I'm concerned. The fact the other team scored a TD on their first drive of every playoff game is a hiuge red flag to me. Maybe Babich doesn't have good enough players, but, they sure seem to be totally unprepared at the start of the game.
  18. I think you're confusing Bishop with Hamlin. Bishop was fine, Hamlin was destroyed all game. Some not his fault as Babich should never have in man vs a top WR
  19. I was begging for us to take Ladd McConkey in the draft. He was pretty damn good this year for the Chargers. Coleman seems like a good kid and may turn out okay next year but Ladd would have been a game changer for us this year. We need a speed guy and will have cap space, so maybe there will be someone in UFA? Hollins obviously is a must resign guy.
  20. This has been a great year for a '"transition" year. The Chiefs are the Chiefs and can easily win. Until you knock them off they're the kings. We can beat them, but will have to really earn it as they won't be haphazard with the ball like the Ravens were.
  21. considering the only player to miss practice due to illness was Dawkins for one day, I'd call this fake news. Maybe find another grapevine.....
  22. we didn't aggressively pass rush Lamar when rushing 4, we "contained" rushed him. Mahomes has been taking some sacks lately due to his tackles and his ankle injury. We should be able to get to him. Buffalo also made adjustments and Worthy disappeared in the last 3 quarters. If we score 30+ I think we will be happy in the end.
  23. I think his first love is chess. If he does want to earn a nice next paycheck though, he may want to show up next week and hopefully therafter
  24. Can't be mutually exclusive. He turned the ball over twice with two really ugly turnovers, so couldn't have had a solid game. "Lions offense was solid too, except fore their 4 or 5 turnover." Lamar was below average.
