  1. If we were offering him $2m he wouldn't waste his time with a visit. Look for 3 years $14m for him. And he's plenty worth that.
  2. Whaley didn;t do anything here. LA signed him to a fair contract and we matched. LA did all the work for him here - if LA really wanted him, they would have offered him a bigger contract
  3. Snead is a tricky contract value to derive though, with the injury
  4. The only thing that concerns me about OJ is his lack of stats at Alabama. 114 catches and 7 td's in FOUR years of college. Different position, I know, but Davis had better stats in his SR year than OJ had over all 4 years. Guessing he was severely underutilized at Alabama??
  5. Davis is head and shoulders better than Williams. Williams has a tremendous catch radius (as does Davis) but has significant past injury concerns and had a tough time creating separation in COLLEGE. Davis was the only threat on his team and he still stood out against teams like Michigan. If they're both available, Davis is the easy choice. If Davis is gone, and Williams is there, I still don't take Williams. I'd take lattimore, either top safety or the TE over Williams. Davis is the top offensive player on my board and it's not close. I think prefer Ford over Williams (Ford is the guy that ran the 4.2, right??)
  6. I would imagine th draft is on ESPN and NFL Network
  7. Adams would be a dream at #10,. It there is no way in the world he'll be available at #10. Peppers is not a Rd 1 talent 1-10. Davis Rd 2. Best available db Rd 3. Best available RT Rd 5. Best available TE and Chad Kelly
  8. Howard is good enough for #10, but if we're taking him we have to sign a really good UFA wr and maybe a middle of the road one too
  9. Mills is fine - please explain why he was so Terrible. Shadys rushing average was quite good behind him, you can't have a pro bowler at every position, and I think I'll trust the coaches evaluations over wannabe gms
  10. 2 years 4m is backup money. Still, he was okay last year and can't have a probowler at every position
  11. Davis would be my pick if Adams or hooker don't fall to us. I am not the gm
  12. Can't cut Clay - too much of a CAP HIT if they do so. Cook and Clay could be a nice combination. Alleviates the desperate need for a stud 2nd WR to a certain extent
  13. with $29m in cap space, I would say we could afford him of he was our target. But don't let pure numbers get in the way of analysis
  14. depth. Might mean Wood gets cut??
  15. Is free agency over? Oh, no it just started. If they were tanking, they would have cut Kyle and Shady, don't you think? Probably cut Tyrod too and signed someone like Hoyer.
  16. Why is free agency over with? Wait, it's just starting in 30 minutes
  17. both will be out of our price range - though one can dream
  18. would think it would have to be a WR. Maybe a LB, maybe a safety. I don't expect any big names/big splashes though. I would: Sign Reif for RT Sign Byrd at safety resign Alexander Sign Jared Cook at TE Sign a medium range CB or two Sign a medium range LB Draft Davis at 1-10 Draft Mahomes (if there in rd 2, doubtful), or otherwise BPA on defense
  19. Yep - I would draft him but I'm not the GM. When does he project to go in the draft?
  20. Davis should be the pick, he's the best wr in the draft. If we can get him a little lower, then by all means try to trade back a couple of spots
  21. Now we know why they didn't want Christie to help carpenter
  22. Could mean Wood might be a cap casualty. He was replaced nicely at center last year when he got hurt......
