  1. It takes two to make a trade, but I would hope so
  2. Agreed, especially considering that some of the 2024 mid 2nd round WR's would possibly be 1st round WR's in a normal year. WR position is stacked as is DL, both very good for us. Beane should get some steals in rounds 4/5/6, even 7 where he currently has 8 picks
  3. In the mock I did, Thomas actually fell to #28. It would be a dream, but I think not realistic, so I didn't choose him.
  4. Yep - that was me I think. I believe trading up to 5/6 cost too much, so I think Beane Monitors Thomas II and if he falls to the late teens, he tries to trade #28 and a 2025 2nd to move up and grab him. If Thomas II goes earlier than 15, he does something like this mock draft I just did. #28 McConkey Trade #60, #133 and #160 to PHI for #50 #50 Legette (note: Coleman and Polk arestill available too if Beane prefers either). Perhaps, if it played out this way, Beane wouldn't trade up and just wait to see who last to #60
  5. It's certainly the riskier option, but, I think we need to go young. I draft McConkey at #28 and move up from #60 to the low to mid 40's and double up by drafting Legette/Coleman/Polk or Franklin - whomever they prefer and whomever is left. From their meetings, it really seems the Bills like McConkey and Legette. Franklin too but he's model skinny.
  6. (A) Nabers is my choice too, but he may go to LAC at #5 after Harrison goes #4 to ARI. If he last to #6. Beane should have a deal in place with his old friend Schoen: #6 to BUF #28, 2025 1st and 2025 2nd (prob the one just acquired) and a 5th in 2024 and 5th in 2025 to NYG A lot to give up but Nabers is worth it (B) Alternatively, my second favorite idea is drafting my man crush McConkey at #28 (not a sure thing he lasts to #28 though) and either moving up in the 2nd round or standing pat (depending if there's a run on the 2nd tier receivers) to get Franklin, Legette, Polk, Coleman, Wilson, Worthy, Burton, Walker (whomever they like best) (C) a small trade up for Thomas JR if he slides to late teens is what I think Beane does. #28 and 2025 2nd to move up.
  7. how about: Odell Beckham UFA If Thomas falls to late teens, trade #28 + our 2025 2nd to grab him or Odell Beckham UFA #28 Ladd McConkey Trade #60+ a 2025 3rd to low/mid 40s and grab Franklin, Legette or Polk
  8. we're not giving the Jets a draft pick AND taking on $15m over 2 years for Decker. If he gets cut, there's no way he signs in Buffalo, as there will be many suitors. Hate it or not, the WRs we have on the roster now are what we're going into the season with.
  9. Where does it say this? never saw Philly in the mix?
  10. What's that Philly insider saying now? The one who said it was a done deal to Buffalo?
  11. An if gets cut, no way he signs with Buffalo. There will be more than 2 suitors
  12. Bills aren't trading for Decker while having to pay him $15m over 2 years. NEVER happening
  13. I would think if Maclin read this site he'd either (a) say these guys are nuts and I have to play with them, or (b) say these guys are nuts and get as far away as possible from us
  14. there's that Eagles insider who said he' was signing with BUF (a couple of hours ago). He seemed pretty legit
  15. off the 190 pages, probably 5 are solid postings. This one is in the other 185 too.
  16. That could be a new quote, I suppose, but there was similar quote to this last week. Not sure how Baltimore could pay him $7m per year (current contract)
  17. I'm thinking he unfortunately signs with BAL, and it all has to do with his recent wedding. Do you think his wife would "entice" him to choose Buffalo (with a single bachelor McCoy) over Baltimore. Doubtful.
  18. To interrupt the foodie talk a second...Maclin expected to decide between Buffalo and Baltimore today: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000814445/article/jeremy-maclin-expected-to-make-decision-monday
  19. I don't think the Jets will get someone to trade for that?? I guess maybe a lower level team like Cleveland maybe??
  20. What's Decker's salary situation/cap hit?
  21. He has to check in with his imaginary friends to see if they're sticking to the story. Even if he signs with Buffalo (which I still think is a good chance), they're story is wrong
  22. Wrapping up can mean two things, finalizing contract or wrapping up visit before heading to Baltimore. Likely the latter.
