  1. Can't be mutually exclusive. He turned the ball over twice with two really ugly turnovers, so couldn't have had a solid game. "Lions offense was solid too, except fore their 4 or 5 turnover." Lamar was below average.
  2. I hope he has an impressive offseason. there's a cloud surrounding him where he always manages to lose in the playoffs, sometimes his fault sometimes not. Either way, he loses.
  3. Yep - go up by 8 - can't lose on a baltimore drive up 8. If Andrews doesnt choke on that 2 pt conversion catch, I still believe josh leads them down the field for a a GW FG. 3rd and goal from the one, you do 2 tush pushes. Sometimes Brady doesn't think - which happens to all coaches
  4. amazingly talent team - hope they enjoy the probowl and offseason
  5. Josh Allen is a waste of a draft pick. If he turns into anything good, every analytical model will be proved worthless.
  6. Not sure how many "minutes" Jackson played vs Josh, but, Baltimore was up 35-2, and Jackson was still in the game with 7 minutes left. Josh sat out the entire NE game, barely passed in the 2nd half of the JAX game and the 1st Miami game, and left very early vs Tennessee, Seattle and NYJ (game 2). SF was played in a snowstorm. By my calculations he played the equivalent of just over 14 games. A lot of stats could have been "padded" for Josh in those 3 games. Nothing against Lamar, he had an amazing season, but the 2 QB highlights of the year are the KC run by Josh and the QB receiving TD vs SF by Josh. He would have a 3rd too on the shotput TD throw if not for a phantom holding call called it back.
  7. He played the first half in a similar situation vs Miami a few years back. Plus 14 wins would be a franchise record
  8. easy answer - KC@Denver. Even if KC is playing backups, Denver will need the win to make the playoffs
  9. 11% chance of Bengals making playoffs, so, we need to relax. Things will be more clear after tomorrow. I'm writing off MIA with Tua out, but if INDY wins, I'm guessing the odds of CIN making playoffs is round 9%. Stats would say DEN % of losing .50*IND Chance of losing .40* CIN chance of winning .45 = 9%
  10. Not sure if this belongs here but didn't think it needed it's own thread. The D wasn't as bad as I thought vs Detroit but it's hard to emphasize how horrible Cam Lewis paid. He was beyond downright terrible and let to a ton of Detroit's big plays. I like him usually but not last week
  11. Very bad luck for Detroit, but, I think all their injuries are going to be their downfall this year. If they can somehow hold onto the 1 seed, they'll have a decent chance to make the Superbowl, but I still see GreenBay, Philadelphia, even the Rams matching up well vs. them
  12. Gruden was doing fine with the Raiders. He was fired because of that text/email thing
  13. Talent evaluators don't go by pro bowl votes. Hamlin is a really nice story but he's an average to below average safety
  14. Tea leaves have been there all season. #23 was never issued, Cain cut yesterday. Makes too much sense,
  15. Nope - Poyer looked shot last year, Hyde still looked good
  16. As I speculated yesterday when I started this thread. Though, it wasn't hard speculating this
  17. Romo has mailed it in, which is sad, 'cuz he used to be interesting an good. Just collects a hefty paycheck these days
  18. KC, Baltimore and Detroit message boards are currently having open enrollment
  19. Damn are you people doom and gloom or what. two numbers, 7, 2
  20. technically, with standing as they are now, it wouldn't be until the AFC Championship game
  21. Slayton would be ideal
  22. We seem to have at least a couple of roster spots to fill with Edwards cut and Smoot to DL Cap is fluid and can be changed
  23. He was at Dawkins' event last night for whatever that means
  24. If Allen's off is 3 passing td's and 1 int (and it should have been 4 passing td's, 0 int's and 1 rushing td's) I'll take it. Very harsh for the weapons, or lacktherof, he was working with crazy, but which team averaged 4.9/carry and who averaged 4.8/carry
  25. Flight from NYC to Buffalo is like 50 minutes. wondering if Josh need a body guard type when he's out in public? I guess if he's out with some lineman, that works.
