  1. It's been measured for nearly 10 years. That's a long time by NFL standards. http://www.dawgsbynature.com/2017/3/10/14890754/cleveland-browns-2017-nfl-scouting-combine-qb-velocity Next.
  2. He was 49 mph, Tyrod was 50 due to a shoulder injury. Watson hasn't played a game in the NFL so we don't know if he will be the first QB throwing under 55 mph to find success.
  3. Technically worst case scenario is that he is cut, or slips on a mat.
  4. Right. As long as we cool with our 5th round pick being a backup (like most 5th rounders) it's an ok pick. Upside is just limited.
  5. You do know that some people have seen Kelly play and prefer him because of what we have seen. Not all fans are so fickle as you are describing.
  6. The only undrafted rookie QB to ever start a game in the NFL! What a great year lolol
  7. Clemson almost lost to NC State the week before. Peterman played efficiently but beating a good team doesn't make a player. If he is a reliable backup, that's good.
  8. Threw 53 mph at the combine. Not very good at Tennessee but got better in Pitt. If he amounts to anything more than a backup, I'll be very, very surprised. 5th round pick so it is whatever. Get Cardale out of here if he looks like crap again in camp.
  9. It's a 5th round pick so not a big deal. I don't think he is big enough or fast enough to stick but we will see
  10. Yeah, the guy wearing the $4,000 suit is not gonna wipe a booger on the girl that hasn't made that much her entire life, COME ON!
  11. Seriously. And WR is one position JAX is ok at.
  12. It sounds like it may not be far off. Guy sounds like bad news....and I'm not a person to get concerned about every character issue.
  13. We have one good LT on our team....And one that was just found half naked in a field.
  14. Just give me Chad Kelly and its a great draft for me. Roderick Johnson and John Harvey Clemons would be great too
  15. Lol he is already hurt. The Pats do this all the time. Players they want to develop come down with some crazy injuries.
  16. Draft him and stash him on IR, then you don't have to cut Cardale until Kelly beats him out the following year.
  17. Yea but he doesn't know the difference between a head stand and a handstand!! Kick him into guard! https://mobile.twitter.com/DDawkins66/status/849798559855718400
  18. I like this pick. I also like that this is the first sign that we don't mind doing some homework and picking a player that may have had some "character issues." For those that don't know, Dion had an incident at a night club in 2015. Those things happen when you're a young guy. I was worried that we needed our prospects to be perfect off the field. Glad to know that some sort of incident doesn't stop us from considerig a player.
  19. I don't think we are going to be very good next year. But based on this draft, I think McD is drafting to compete right now. His CB and WR were very productive and experienced seniors. The OL was also a senior. I would have used this year to rebuild, I don't think that is McD's plan. I'm not a huge fan of our strategy but it'll certainly be interesting to see the product this year.
