  1. . That would be amazing. Have to help him with his drinking problem, get his life straight but he is a talent evaluation savant. http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/12014699/scot-mccloughan-nfl-best-talent-scout-self-employed-living-farm
  2. He'd be great but does he want to leave GB?
  3. I still give that to Dan Snyder and his racist team name, handling of McCloughon, and potentially ostracizing his budding franchise QB. But the Pegulas are def in the lower rankings right now.
  4. Yep, that's why the Washington franshise was looking at Mayock. I still don't believe they have a GM.
  5. Yea, that's how it is for many future NFL players when they have law run ins. I don't need him to take a shot on Joe Mixon but I don't want him removing someone from his board because of a bar fight or a diluted sample. Dawkins makes me hope that won't be the case.
  6. Look at the win-loss record. Look at hiring a coach and then firing a GM. They are not good owners bc they are new to it. Maybe they'll get better but it's not good right now.
  7. Yea Pegs are bad owners. Only thing I'll give them is a willingness to spend money. They love McD it seems so hopefully his plan can work
  8. It was time for Whaley to go...in January. I like McDermott but it's usually the GM that picks the coach. Last I remember is Rex and Chizik in NY and that was a disaster. Of course, Chizik hated Rex. Bringing in Beane from Carolina will ensure the GM and coach get along which is important. However, from my understanding Beane is more of a numbers guy. He will need a strong scout team and asst. GM. If that happens, doesn't sound too shabby.
  9. Dawkins had an arrest and we took him. That gave me hope that we didn't need everyone to be Chris Kelsey off the field.
  10. JLC is always wrong, VC has been hit or miss lately. We will see. Kinda wish we had made this move back in January before we hired our coach. Would have really liked Chris Ballard. The Carolina Assitant GM is interesting tho.
  11. No one knows how these peeps careers will go. There is a whole industry that has come up around projecting prospects coming out of the draft. It's nonsensical but it's fun, I highly recommend it. What I like is stating my opinion and then discussing with others where I could be wrong or right. So that's what I did in my OP.
  12. im here to give my opinion on the draft, it's cool that you don't have anything to contribute and would rather do what you're doing.
  13. I follow the entire process from the CFB season to the draft. I have seen many, many games of most of these picks. Milano and Villejo are the exceptions.
  14. Very good contribution. I lumped Milano and Peterman together originally but broke it into two sections once I realized how long winded I was getting.
  15. Not really a negative fan - I like White and Dawkins. I'm hopeful to be competitive next year and I hope to be very off on my projection of Zay, Milano, Peterman and Villejo. However I consider myself quite the draftnik and the latter guys just don't check off a lot of boxes from the studying I have done on them on things I think we need to eventually win the Super Bowl.
  16. Do with it as you will, I believe that you need a certain degree of arm strength to be successful in today's NFL.
  17. He won't be handed it but it'll be pretty easy for him to win lolol
  18. The best part about this draft was gaining next years 2018 pick. We need all the picks that we can get if we are ever going to get better again. After that.... White will be a very good player especially in the zone defense. No problem with it at all. B+ Zay Jones is a dime a dozen WR that we lost a third rounder that could have been another starter in a trade up for him. His ceiling is a possession reliever, imo. We reached for "need." If Sammy goes down Zay won't be an effective #1. C- Dawkins is not the most gifted player but this was a weak class of OLineman. Positionally, this was both a need area and a position that has increased value to find in the draft based on how much good OL go for in FA. Additionally, this helps us as our line continues to age prepare for the future. Even though we traded up, I give this one a pass. B. Milano - hate both of these picks. Milano is too slow for a Safety and too small for a WLB. He can't get away from OL and isn't fast enough to keep up in coverage. Playing the zone, maybe he will be ok but think it was an uninspiring pick but it was the 5th round so whatever. C Peterman - people are loving him as a developmental QB. I just don't think he has the ability to make it in the NFL as anything more than a Matt Flynn type. Poor arm, accuracy is overstated. I do like that the Bills are drafting QBs now (2 years in a row!) but don't see him as having any traits that could project him to a starter. As long as we were just looking for a backup, this is fine. C Vallejo - haven't really done my homework on him. 6th round pick. I'll give the Bills a P. Overall, The trading back was great. I hope we get a new GM in soon tho because I hate the players that McDermott drafts and I don't want him in charge next year. I don't see a player that has pro bowl potential from this group. White, Dawkins will be a good starter on any team. Zay would be a slot receiver on better teams but will be WR1 or 2 for Buffalo. Overall grade: C+
  19. Was Chad a dick to you in HS or something? You really seem to dislike him.
  20. Small guy but jumped out of the gym at his pro day: Marcus Sayles impressed in the weight room with a 40-in vertical jump, and an 11-foot broad jump. On the field, Sayles continued to impress as he clocked a 4.49 time in the 40-yard dash and impressed the scouts in drills
  21. I like Josh Allen's arm talent but I don't think that'll wind up happening if some of the others come out. He would've been the first QB taken in this draft tho.
  22. Yep! Just disappointed we didn't take a shot on him. Thought that he was a really good QB for us.
  23. Yea it's probably time to stop, he's a bronco. Just hope this doesn't bite us in the ass in a couple years.
