In a league where 70% of players would be considered minority, the coaching ranks don’t match that. Especially on the offensive side of the ball where most NFL Head Coaching jobs are coming from nowadays. If anything this is trying to fix an artificial disparity between coaching and players that already exists. As far as whether minority people want to apply for a job, I’m sure teams can find one of thousands of retired players who would be willing to take a job in a coaching staff. Whether this works is one thing, but I don’t think it’s a bad idea to try this.

I will actually be surprised if we don’t wind up with Josh Williams at CB, he seems like such a McDermott special. Small school guy with tools to coach up like Josh Norman, Bradbury, Taron and Neal.

Yea I tend to see it as Dane Jackson and Levi Wallace were good enough to put us in position to win against a high power Chiefs offense. And as Whorlnut pointed out, I don’t think the 13 seconds was an inditement of our corners as much as our situational coaching. But, who knows at this point, CB is very likely in the first round. But I don’t think our current CB roster makes it a necessity.

The way this guy runs is mesmerizing, such short choppy steps. He is no more than a day 3 pick tho.

you realize we played several weeks including the playoffs last year with Dane Jackson and a player we didn’t feel was worth $4 million/ year starting right? Poyer and Hyde help a lot in making things easier for cornerbacks in our system.

From where we are drafting the second and third round is where the value will be for corner IMO. Though us fans see CB2 as a big need, I think the Bills are comfortable with Dane Jackson holding a position at least temporarily. We may go CB in round 1 but I would say WR has just as good odds with RB and OL with slightly lesser odds.

I will take playing Tyreek Hill twice in the regular season with the Dolphins with Tua over playing him once in the regular season and once in the playoffs with the Chiefs ANYDAY. This is a huge win for us. This offseason keeps getting better and better.

Mack has been very good. Miller is one of the best ever. He is a better player than Mack and we didn’t have to give up any picks. No brainer. Add to it he has won two Super Bowls, is tied for the record in Super Bowl sacks recorded, played 2 seasons vs Patrick Mahomes and is now the farming leader of our defense (Josh being the leader/farmer of our offense). Von was the best case scenario and Bean pulled it off. Let’s go Bills!

I think Calais Campbell and Jason Pierre Paul could be good additions if they came at minimal contracts off of down years. At the very least they could be good mentors for Rousseau with how both dominated with their length during their prime.

After the Chiefs lost to the Pats, they signed Tyran Matthew and Traded for Frank Clark. We need to go all in like they did. Adding a real DE threat - rather than just another cog in the rotation - would help a lot. Then they need to do whatever they can to add another real playmaker on offense. Gabe was great, but they shut down Diggs again. And Knox was invisible. Mahomes had a much easier go of it against our defense with Hill and Kelce being 2 of the top 3 receivers between the two teams. Get a DE that teams have to game plan against, get another real wide receiver, spend the rest of your assets this offseason on the OLine to keep Josh upright. If they do that, we already have the best player in football.

Allen was amazing, better than Mahomes today. Please god let him get a Super Bowl with us.
