  1. You as well, wishing success so that Darnold and Allen can duke it out for years.
  2. I've considered this too. I think it depends on which matters more to AB, getting targets or winning. The Patriots are built to run in order to preserve Brady.
  3. I feel like Hyde has been acting like a captain since day one of being here.
  4. Probably an 8, but I'm not sure. I would be more saddened and less annoyed by all the people who doubt Allen though as I would be more concerned that we had another JP Losman than Carson Wentz.
  5. I imagine Beane will continue his signing solid to good players and maybe 1 or 2 top tier free agents. Despite looking at AB I think Beane was being honest when expressed the idea of having a lot of different WR's with different skill sets, like Philly, instead of a marquee WR stud.
  6. Why are they asking Zay when he's going to be traded in like 17 minutes?
  7. Chris Kelsay and Dick Jauron were underrated here.
  8. It's tricky. The Pats sign Gilmore and he becomes an all-pro. The Pats sign Hogan, Gilislee, and Chandler and none of them play better there than they did here. I feel like I won't be surprised if Bodine plays better, "plays better" as in the Pats just throw when he is in there to mask his deficiencies, or if he is as mediocre there as he was here.
  9. I hope he goes to Oakland. He can join Peterman, Burflict, Richie and Brown.
  10. Yeah, I imagine that if any other team had made this trade like Arizona we'd be laughing at them. I guess it depends if Scar is a better o-line coach than everyone else.
  11. I wonder what percentage of LB's have this career arc. Makes me think of Angelo Crowell.
  12. I'm not an expert, but I'll try to give you a helpful response. My guess is that even if their production looks similar, Brown tends to be able to produce against better corners than Zay. My guess is that Zay is more likely to disappear against a teams #1 corner than Brown.
  13. Which doesn't seem to be a bad strategy. I feel like the Eagles won the superbowl primarily on good players. Maybe a DL or 2 were elite, and Ertz?
  14. Anyways else surprised to see Zay listed in the in-house players to take care of?
  15. The question has such a simple answer. If Zay is one of the 6 best WR's on this team, (Or 7 if they keep 7) then no If Zay is not one of the 6 best WR"s on this team, then yes. The last thing I want is for McBeane to give into the sunk cost fallacy simply because Zay was a 2nd round pick.
  16. We both know that admitting that someone was wrong is a big no-no on the internet. It's okay, I'm sure you're kicking yourself for not posting something you wish you had ?
  17. I expect a close game too. My rule of thumb is that if both teams fans consider themselves the likely winners then the teams are probably close to being evenly matched. I'm sure there are Jets fans over there who don't understand our team and simply scoff at the idea that the Bills could even compete with a 52.8% Qb, a concussed center, a Wr less sure handed than Zay Jones, and a slot receiver.
  18. I wonder about perception of Cam and how much of it has to do with media coverage. Pretty much every year Cam will go out of his way to do something to visit children in hospitals, feed the homeless, etc...and it doesn't seem to be from a "this will help my PR" attitude, but rather that he enjoys helping people. When Cam says something dumb it goes viral, when Cam does something good, maybe 5% of the posters here know about it? This leads me to wondering to what extent posters here have a narrative of Cam that they're not interested in changing versus how much Cam is presented as arrogant and unsympathetic by the media with little to no coverage of his altruistic side. I remember reading on reddit someone mentioning that when Cam lost the Superbowl to the Broncos his reactions were deemed immature while two years later when Brady lost to the Eagles his extremely similar actions were chalked up to the fact that he's simply a competitor and it does make me wonder to what extent there is a double standard here.
  19. This sounds right me, we just need a play where Zay bounces off three Miami Dolphin defenders into the endzone for a touchdown and they'll basically be the same player.
  20. As a Bills fan who isn't too knowledgeable about QB mechanics I'm curious about your assessment of Barkley. Are there any starting QB's he's comparable to or is he significantly consider to have a weaker arm than any QB capable of starting? I want to know to what extent Daboll can plan around him even if he is limited as opposed to his arm strength being something that will haunt him no matter how great he is at all other aspects of the game.
  21. Hey man, during those drought years a 9-7 record looks pretty good to me.
  22. That's because the receiver fell out of bounds with 1 second left and the clock people were slow.
