I think I'm in the opposite boat. Take Williams or McGlinchey at 12 and the best remaining CB (or potentially another EDGE if they slide, like Davenport or Landry) at 22
At the time they hadn't finalized their board, but knew they wanted to be in a position for an elite player. Since then they have finalized their board and they believe there are 8 elite non-QB prospects, meaning they are comfortable going back as far as 12 (conveniently).
If the draft were to play out like this I would think we traded up to 6 first and made an effort to get even higher, but failed, and then the Cards traded up ahead of us to grab QB3.
I just don't he him falling out of the top 10. Miami is sitting there at 11, so assuming Rosen gets past pick 5 the Bills (Or Cardinals for that matter) will be calling the Colts, Bucs, Bears, 49ers, and Raiders to move up.
it's 142% of the value of 6, which would be a historically high premium for a pick outside the top 5. Top 3 picks carry a significantly higher premium than top 10 picks.
