  1. I'm sure Mayfield was thinking clearly when he decided to impair himself. That doesn't earn him a pass.
  2. Or he's offering a shoulder to cry on because they're taking Allen
  3. With the 83rd pick in the draft, the Baltimore Ravens select Mike White, QB, Western Kentucky. @patneiler and the Chargers are on the clock.
  4. Bills Picks: 12) Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville 22) Will Hernandez, G, UTEP 53) Josh Sweat, EDGE, Florida State 56) Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M 65) Brian O'Neill, OT, Pittsburgh 96) Rashaan Gaulden, DB, Tennessee 121) Andre Smith, LB, North Carolina 166) Scott Quessenberry, C, UCLA 187) Darius Phillips, CB, Western Michigan
  5. What if neither the Browns or Giants take a QB and it spooks the Jets so much that they trade back from the #3 pick to the #15 pick?
  6. Can you point me to those? Nearly all of the boards I've seen have 3-4 in the top 15-32, with 5th and 6th squeaking into the top 50-64 range. Also, the point I was making is that it is much more cost effective for teams now that the rookie salaries are dictated by draft slot than it used to be when you had to give up 3-4 picks and then fork over $100M to a QB who hasn't taken a snap yet.
  7. A lot of historical draft data went out the window when the Rookie Wage Scale became a thing.
  8. They have ~$7M in cap space before the draft. Might not take much over the $1.9M he's slated to get to scare them off.
  9. Think Willie Snead is worth a low end offer since the Saints snagged Meredith?
  10. Something about ball velocity and turnovers.
  11. looks like @Virgil has actual work again today lol
  12. and Bortles with a #3. Matt Ryan if you go back a little further.
  13. So with the top 3 picks you found 2 that didn't work out in the last 12 years and none in the past decade?
  14. VT also accepts a high percentage of applicants, as you've pointed out with Bama, but the graduation rates within accepted majors are lower. Their philosophy is to allow students to try and either succeed or flunk out and try something different as opposed to eliminating them right off the bat. When I got accepted there they were #10 in the country for Civil Engineering (my degree). When I graduated they were #8. So that ranking was more applicable to me than their overall ranking. If I had to guess I'd say they're somewhere between 50 and 75 in overall ranking. That said, I know quite a few of the players at Tech personally and I helped a lot of them with their work. I wouldn't call them dumb by any means, but a lot of them would not have passed without some help.
  15. It would seem that they have an agreement in principle, but there are conditions that one or both sides would like to see met before executing the deal. Giants clearly want more time to see if anyone offers more than what we have on the table, and maybe they want to see who the Browns select. The Bills may also want to see who the Browns select. Ultimately, I believe both sides gain from waiting until the Browns have officially made their selection.
  16. US News has them at #110 Nationally. Niche has then at #163. Forbes has them at #264. (#52 in the South though!) Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education has them at #464. #EliteAcademics
  17. 1. Sam Darnold - Bills 2. Josh Rosen - Browns 3. Josh Allen - Broncos 4. Baker Mayfield - Jets 5. Lamar Jackson - Ravens Bonus: Bills Pick - Sam Darnold, QB, USC
  18. I seriously doubt we see less than 4 games with single digit points scored over the next 3 years. The low scoring wasn't a thing until 2017 when we hired a LB for our OC.
  19. The picks the Bills accumulated were acquired specifically so that they'd be in the position they are in, when it comes to draft capital, in a deep QB class.
  20. I know it's more recent, but the 2011 home win against the Pats* is it for me. When the clock hit 0:00 the entire stadium was buzzing with excitement, but it was also quiet enough to hear a pin drop. Everyone kind of just stayed where they were and took the moment in. Awesome experience.
  21. @RyanC883 and the Raiders are on the clock.
  22. @Chuck Wagon and the 49ers are up.
  23. @section122 and the soon to be sushi are on the clock.
  24. You can't make that move, especially at that price, this early unless you are comfortable taking the 3rd highest QB on your board. Seems clear the Bills aren't.
