  1. I remember several folks saying this exact thing about Ducasse last year
  2. My hope is that we trade up to #2, possibly by use of a 3rd team such as the Bucs, and select Rosen or Darnold. Whether all the pieces required for that to happen fall in place is an entirely different matter, but I don't expect much action until the Browns officially make their selection.
  3. Round 3's already set up in the sheet. Need someone to pick for Houston & Rams though.
  4. What does matter is who else is available at 22. Our team's roster priorities will come before trying to screw NE based on what we think they might do. They've got 23 & 31. If they want a QB they can easily jump over Arizona and take one.
  5. I expect a drop off in the offense's ability to move the ball and sustain drives. And that has as much to do with the supporting cast as the QB.
  6. People also tend to latch onto names that are decent value choices late and then overdraft them, imo. Okay, both sheets are up to date for anyone looking to analyze. Draft through pick 65 is here, Matt Miller's Big Board with where players were drafted and to whom is here.
  7. I think in reality he'll be there at pick 96
  8. I firmly believe he'd be a first round pick if he stayed healthy through college.
  9. I made that post on Valentine's Day... Like a month before the Jets trade.
  10. I suspect this year we feel the effects of the roster turnover that the FO has been making in order to mold us into their vision. Couple steps back record-wise. But I think we will be in a good position moving into 2019 with a QB in place to build around, a top 16 pick in the draft, and a lot of cap space to spend on filling out our roster with some of the pieces we are missing.
  11. I still have high hopes that we move up for a QB, but if we get locked out then I wouldn't be upset with a haul like this. 12: R1P12 - G WILL HERNANDEZ, UTEP 22: R1P22 - QB MASON RUDOLPH, OKLAHOMA STATE 53: R2P21 - DL TIM SETTLE, VIRGINIA TECH 56: R2P24 - OT TYRELL CROSBY, OREGON 65: R3P1 - WR DANTE PETTIS, WASHINGTON 96: R3P32 - LB DARIUS LEONARD, SOUTH CAROLINA STATE 121: R4P21 - RB AKRUM WADLEY, IOWA 166: R5P29 - LB DORIAN O'DANIEL, CLEMSON 187: R6P13 - CB BRANDON FACYSON, VIRGINIA TECH
  12. @Watkins101 and the Falcons are on the clock with pick #58
  13. True, but they'd also probably just hang up if we offered our 2019 1st for 3 2nds, 2 this year.
  14. Next year's 1 isn't even worth pick 33.
  15. I think the Bucs are more likely to be the 3rd party than the Browns. The Bucs have pick #7, pick #38, and then nothing until pick #102. Based on past trades I think it'd look something like this: Bills trade 12, 56, & 96 to the Bucs for 7 (14% premium, a little above typical for a 5-10 pick) Bills trade 7, 22, and a 2019 2nd for 2 (37% premium, a little under the Jets' premium, but above the typical premium from 2011-2017) Bills would have picks 2, 53, 65, 121, 166, 187 (122.42, down from 167) Giants would have 7, 22, 34, 66, 69, 108, 139, and our 2019 2nd (192.15, up from 157.85) Bucs would have 12, 38, 56, 96, 102, 144, 180, 202, and 255 (122.25, up from 111.97)
  16. If that's what it takes to make the deal then yes, but I'd prefer not to. Also depends who we're dealing with and whether they prefer picks this year or next year.
  17. I'm going to catch some heat for a couple of these, but that's ok.
  18. Reaching for need would be a far worse decision imo. Ideally we would move up, but no trades. If we didn't move up and those players were left my next move would be trade back, but again, no trades.
  19. Landry is one of 2 EDGE guys that I like in the 1st this year. Upgrade from Shaq day 1. The LBs I'd want were gone by 12, the QBs as well. Landry adds quality depth to the pass rush rotation in his rookie year, and makes an existing edge player expendable by year 2 imo.
  20. His board is the closest to mine and he has a lot more players evaluated than my amateur butt. And for the record, my Bills picks in this draft would've been: 12 - Harold Landry, EDGE, Boston College 22 - Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma State 53 - Tyrell Crosby, OT, Oregon 56 - Dante Pettis, WR, Washington At 65 & 96 I'd bee looking at the best remaining DT's & LB's, Maybe RB if one is significantly higher than the other 2 positions.
  21. I've been marking up the Matt Miller board with who went where at what pick if it helps you guys.
  22. Lots of good options if he isn't as well.
  23. Great value with Crosby here IMO. Shore up the RT position.
  24. Cool, I'm down with Rd3, or at least the 1st pick.
