  1. I get that, but it doesn't change the fact that Shady didn't choose to come here.
  2. Why would Collins care that Chip Kelly didn't want him any more and traded him away?
  3. So there's an issue with that that nobody is talking about. Per the CBA, if you draft a player and he doesn't sign he is eligible to be drafted in next year's draft by every team except for yours. Nobody wanted to take the chance on calling his bluff only to lose all chance at getting the right to him next year too. So if the Bills were to take a 7th round flyer on him and he decided to follow through and not sign, then the Bills would not be eligible to take him in 2016. It seems nobody was willing to take that risk.
  4. Might be okay for recruitment. Look at how much money Kromer made for Evans and Grubbs at guard
  5. Yep this. By the time the new GM was hired the scouts had already been working for months, and the scouts the GM wanted still had jobs with other teams.
  6. Glenn - Miller - Wood - Incognito - Collins
  7. Didn't he dare them to replace him? Now he's mad? He's worse than a woman...
  8. The Ravens had no say in the matter as Taylor was a UFA. He was drafted in the 6th round, so no 5th year option. Tyrod wanted to go somewhere he had a chance to start, so he said no to Baltimore and he said no to more money in Denver with his old OC.
  9. After the UDFA signings I think we'd have to cut someone first. Maybe Chris Williams for some added cap room as well?
  10. So I take it you don't like Tyrod as much as Rex does?
  11. Agreed. The success of a drafted QB depends far more on where he is drafted (Team) than where he is drafted (Round).
  12. The other thing you need to consider is that every pick spent on a failed QB, or a QB who will take at least 2 years to develop into a product you can even put onto the field, is a pick that could have been used on another position, and could possibly be contributing well before the QB even gets a chance. This year I feel like we brought in some solid role players and I think at least 3 will contribute in year 1 (Darby, Miller, O'Leary). I think Williams is good foresight as FredEX is probably on his last year and McCoy only has a few left himself. I don't know much about the OLB from Clemson, but you have to assume Rex does. And Lewis was pretty good value in round 7 since most people had him graded as a round 4-5 guy. I thought we might take a shot on Fajardo or Bridge in round 7, but I can't fault them for taking a big bodied wide receiver who most thought wouldn't be there.
  13. We also have not won a game since he has been on the team. Better cut him...
  14. I don't usually agree with Walt's rankings overall, but here's 24 names at QB http://www.walterfootball.com/draft2016QB.php
  15. that is incredibly unfortunate haha
  16. where are you guys tracking this?
  17. Cody Fajardo/Brandon Bridge are my choices, if they make it through the last few picks
  18. I think he kinda looks like John Legend Whaley: Legend:
  19. Our remaining picks have a total trade value equal to about round 4 pick 10, FWIW. I still think there's a chance McKelvin is a bargaining chip as well.
  20. You know, last year we picked up Sammy and then traded Stevie Johnson on Day 3. Any chance Leodis gets traded today if the FO believes in this kid? Any chance we can get into the 4th with Leodis and maybe a later pick?
  21. I don't mind the Darby pick at all. Others I would have considered are Jordan Phillips, Jaelen Strong, or AJ Cann,
