  1. Give me Darrell Bevell and a position in the FO.
  2. Anything that makes the defense focus on more than just Shady would be a step in the right direction imo
  3. Halfway there, now we need to pluck Braxton Miller off Philly's PS. I'm sure Daboll could get creative with his wildcat plays with Miller, Pryor, and Shady all back there.
  4. And SF plays NYG in 2 weeks!
  5. The stat they showed last night says it all. 0 TDs on the last 50 drives that started in our own territory.
  6. He probably is an upgrade over KB at this point
  7. Never said he was a problem. Just a gut feeling based on how this FO has handled Offensive Personnel. He's doing okay, and we can't have that.
  8. Zay Jones is my dark horse, not that I'd advocate for it.
  9. Has anyone told Belichick that Brandon Reilly is available and is the new Chris Hogan?
  10. I don't want to talk about it.
  11. He only knows 1 route, but it's a route Allen seems to throw well so I'm okay with it
  12. QB Rookie Year Stats since 2015, updated for this week.
  13. Yeah, we only set a record for consecutive 20+ point home games while he was QB... Seriously, it's time to move on.
  14. QB - Matt Cassel if Anderson isn't retained RB - TJ Yeldon/Ameer Abdullah/Tevin Coleman assuming McCoy isn't around WR - Golden Tate, Randall Cobb/Tavon Austin/John Brown/Tyrell Williams/Quincey Enunwa/Justin Hardy TE - Jared Cook/Maxx Williams/Nick Boyle/Tyler Kroft G - Quinton Spain, Mike Iupati/Roger Saffold/JR Sweezy RT - Bobby Massie/Jamon Brown/Byron Bell C - Mitch Morse/Ryan Kalil DE - Dante Fowler? LB - Stephone Anthony I'm sure we can pay most of them
  15. I mean, not that I want him playing any games for us, but Matt Cassel is a guy I could see us bringing back for the mentor role next year. He had 2 stints with Daboll (Pats* '05-'06; Chiefs '12) and ran the Pats* offense for a year a long time ago.
  16. We did. His name was Rick Dennison. Granted, he was still playing LB in 1984...
  17. He's a well respected coach around the league, despite not having much experience at QB coach specifically. I don't think he takes a job in Buffalo if it's not QB coach though. He wanted something new and saw it as a step towards further advancement.
  18. I think the new Tre (Edmunds) will draw that coverage more. Tre White will be locked up with Josh Gordon if I had to guess.
  19. I'm thinking he gets his shot after the bye week.
  20. Looking back at my posts & research, here's the general skeleton: QB: - I wanted to offer a 2 year deal to Fitz worth $4.5M AAV - If Fitz declined I wanted to sign Derek Anderson or Matt Moore - Draft Josh Rosen WR: - I wanted to target Taylor Gabriel and/or Paul Richardson for a 3-4 year deal worth ~$7.5M AAV (Also considered John Brown here, but more like $6M AAV or less) - I wanted to re-sign Deonte Thompson for $2M or less OL: - I wanted to look at either Jonathan Cooper or Brandon Fusco as a replacement for Ducasse/Incognito - Draft Tyrell Crosby (OT, Oregon) on day 2 - Draft Scott Quessenberry (C, UCLA) on day 3 RB: - Draft Rashaad Penny DL: - Re-sign Cedric Thornton & Eddie Yarbrough - Sign Connor Barwin - Draft Tim Settle (DT, Virginia Tech) - Draft Duke Ejiofor (DE, Wake Forest) LB: - I wanted to re-sign Preston Brown and Ramon Humber - Draft Fred Warner (LB, BYU) or Oren Burks (LB, Vanderbilt) DB: - Re-sign EJ Gaines, Leonard Johnson, Colt Anderson, and Shamarko Thomas - Sign Tramaine Brock if EJ Gaines didn't want to sign - Sign Kevin Toliver (CB, LSU) Draft Picks: 1-7: Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA 1-22: Rashaad Penny, RB, SD State 3-65: Fred Warner, OLB, BYU 3-96: Tyrell Crosby, OT, Oregon 4-121: Tim Settle, DT, Virginia Tech 5-166: Duke Ejiofor, DE, Wake Forest 6-187: Scott Quessenberry, C, UCLA - Ended up being gone before this pick... Select Bradley Bozeman, C, Alabama instead 7-255: Kevin Toliver, CB, LSU
  21. I don't disagree with your assessment. There are just a couple dark clouds that are keeping me from being optimistic. 1) Very, very few of this FO's personnel moves on offense have panned out, which gives me pause despite the resources available to them. 2) The FA crop for WR is not very good. We will need to swing a trade to really make an impact there imo.
  22. I don't think that's how anyone sees it playing out. Kirby specifically mentioned sneaking back into the end of day 2, as in late round 3. FWIW, based on last year's trade value chart picks 112 (16th in rd4) and 144 (16th in rd5) were worth pick 94 (30th pick in rd3). I suspect our pick will be better than pick 16, so value only goes up. The other thing the Bills can do is use their later picks to improve their day 2 picks. Let's say we do end up with pick 94 from the above trade. We could then package that with pick 176 (16th in rd6) to get up to pick 86 or so.
