  1. I don't think you do it if you have a top guy, but when the QB is decent it may be worth shipping him out and using the assets on another low cost swing instead of re-upping the contract. Guys like Mariota and Winston are guys that wouldn't make the cut imo.
  2. That's awfully generous. I put him in the 30-40 range, and that's omitting the rookies this year. In his last 21 games played he's sub 60% completions and averages 200 yards of offense per game, has a TD% of 3.32% and a TO% of 1.59%. He's basically Tyrod, but with less yards, less TDs, and more Turnovers. That doesn't even sniff 15th. Reid on the other hand, is an excellent safety, so it's not surprising that he's getting a shot somewhere.
  3. I'm sorry, but I've gotta pick on this the same way I picked on it when Tyrod was here. You have absolutely no idea that he can't. As Allen gains game experience he could certainly develop a better feel of pressure, fronts & formations, and game flow overall. These things will aid in his ability to escape and turn broken plays into big gains. Just because he hasn't, or hasn't often does not mean that he can't.
  4. Well the bar is certainly low. Right now he's averaging 2 catches on 5 targets for 19 yards per game.
  5. I also think the Kerley decision I disagree with was cutting him. By my observation, he was the best WR in a Bills uniform in week 1. I just don't understand it. We've talked about roster things a bunch, there's plenty of past posts showing moves we advocated for. I definitely don't see your points here as hindsight. At this point I legitimately feel like if we cut all 6 and signed 6 FAs it might be an upgrade. Tate was an FA until yesterday, so he was part of that thought, but with guys like Inman, Janis, Maclin, Wheaton, Britt, Wright, and even Bryant out there this squad feels weird. Then factor in guys like Tanner Gentry or Cam Phillips who are PS guys. I don't know. I just feel like this FO has no eye for offense.
  6. I actually liked Brandon Tate and I'd take him in a heartbeat as both a WR and a Returner on this squad.
  7. With Jackson having a fractured tibia, come on down to Blacksburg!
  8. That photo is from after it hit his hands...
  9. Strange that they would make content public, but lock the rules of use behind a login gate...
  10. But was she always so unhappy/bored?
  11. Honestly though, and maybe my list is out of date, but there's some people that feel like they're worth a look. Jeremy Maclin - yes, I know he snubbed us and may still have a hamstring issue Jeremy Kerley - yes, I know we cut him Dontrelle Inman Jeff Janis Dez Bryant - yes, I know... Kendall Wright Kenny Britt Brandon Tate Markus Wheaton All of these guys are in that 27-30 range and could be useful vets that likely want to prove they still have it instead of stone hands Benjamin or can get separation out of bounds Foster.
  12. Almost like a Davis and Kuechly, hopefully
  13. I voted for him, but thanks to the quietest 2nd half in recent memory, I don't think his stat line will draw the votes needed. His first half was absolutely ridiculous, though.
  14. Wet mat victim Kevin Kolb comes to mind. Bradford has a career earnings of $129M. He has 2,967 Pass Attempts. That's $43,478.26 per Pass Attempt. Kevin Kolb has a career earnings of $47M. He has 755 Pass Attempts. That's $62,251.66 per Pass Attempt.
  15. Should be a fun one! I set up a tour of the stadium Saturday and I'm staying right by the distillery
  16. I'll be there with 2 Packers fans
  17. Thought I was safe with my Detroit pick, but very happy to be wrong!
  18. Josh Allen. 1 catch for 64 yards and a TD after he stiff arms Harrison Smith
  19. We have plenty of 2019 cap money and draft picks to shore up the roster.
  20. If we're picking top 5 it's gotta be pass rusher. If it's top 10 then maybe you look at the top OL prospects as well as pass rushers. Round 2 is best available OL or WR. Round 3 is whatever you didn't get before, or more OL.
  21. 20/36 239 Yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT 6 Sacks for 41 Yards 8 Rushes for 34 Yards and 1 Fumble lost
  22. On the contrary, as a starter for the Bills and Browns, he is 23-21-1. Having a record above .500 on those teams feels impressive.
  23. Bills - 20 Vikings - 38
