  1. The indications certainly point to the likelihood that the bills are trying to maneuver up to one of the top picksThe indications certainly point to the likelihood that the bills are trying to maneuver up to get one of the top three quarterbacks coming out from college. However the Luck scenario is certainly plausible. There is one other scenario here. The bills might be angling to get one of the top tier free agent quarterbacks such as Cousins, Foles or maybe even BreesAnd use their draft picks to shore up their linebackers, defensive line and OL. They could get a stud linebacker or D lineman with number 12!
  2. I’m sorry, But when you put a new uniform on an absolutely crappy quarterback he is still a crappy quarterback. He always will be. I don’t care how many weapons you put around him. He is incapable of using them. Every Bills fan should know that by now!Now that he is gone I would recommend no attempts at revisionist history.
  3. At this point and at this moment I don’t even care what the rest of the plan is. Whether it be trade up, Foles, Mccarron or whoever ....... Shedding ourselves of this albatross quarterback is the best news of the off-season! Thank you Mr. Beane. The Tyrod Taylor debacle is finally over!
  4. These numbers are interesting however there is no compelling reason whatsoever to believe that they are predictive of success in the NFL. I can pretty much guarantee you that all the people who do this full-time of already factored these numbers in. So it really begs the question, because of these particular “statistics” would you take Jackson over Rosen or Donald if you had the chance? I most certainly would not.
  5. And, he is a western New Yorker. He grew up in the Lewiston area. Then he went to Syracuse.
  6. Remember this post when Smith is winning 11 or 12 games with the Redskins well cousins flops at mile high. Winning is the ultimate stat!
  7. There is a pissant in this story but it isn’t Tom Brady’s daughter!
  8. It’s not Denison! It was an OK call given that we have Benjamin. It was the execution. In other words, it was the quarterback! Denison is not the problem!
  9. Given the legitimate expectations we had going in this was a most successful season to say the least! The lion’s share of credit goes to the coaching staff Who got us into the playoffs with smoke and mirrors. Particularly since we never had an NFL quality quarterback this season. I’m hoping the OP is just having a bad day. Otherwise, he is one seriously miserable creature!
  10. It was the right call. Face it, if the situation was reversed every bills fan would be irate that the call got reversed. That play did not cost us the game.
  11. The fade call it self to someone like Benjamin is not a bad call at all. As you said, it’s the fact that Taylor was throwing the pass.
  12. Based on all the evidence available from today and throughout the season it’s not Dennison! It’s Taylor. I would like to see what Dennison could do with a real NFL quarterback. I will bet you anything that he frequently called downfield passing plays and Taylor was to gutless to make the throw. Denison gets a pass. With Alex Smith we win this game. With a lot of other quarterbacks we win this game! If we get a real quarterback for next year and the offense is this bad then, yes, I will say it is Denison. At this point, there is no way anyone can rationally say Denison was the problem with the offense. By the way I know I have some miss spellings of Dennisons name, I am dictating.
  13. That was not a drop byJones. The past, as usual, was late!
  14. It’s not the offense of coordinator! It is a quarterback!
  15. For chrissakes! Throw the ball Tyrof!
  16. Taylor’s. chronic inaccuracy shinning through.
  17. To believe that going to Alex Smith from TT is a lateral move is just so fundamentally wrong. Smith is a quantum leap or 2 better! The existing actuarial data proves this without rational debate. I’d love to have Smith here next year. Wow!
  18. I have the flu. Despite the fact that I got a flu shot. It’s also my week off from work during the winter. And ....... I still feel great!!
  19. I haven’t seen Ohio State much. And I don’t know his measurables. But every time l’ve seen Barrett play he comes up big in big games against big time competition. He just wins. I’d take him in the third. He strikes me as this year’s Dushaun Watson. Maybe even the second.
  20. Well deserved. If he did tail off near the end it was negligible.
  21. Sorry if this was already posted. Didn't read the whole thread: Since we're stuck with Rex for now, it seems to me the only way for him to install his defense, which he seems to want to do, is to get a legit NT. In his scheme the D line is predicated on that. Whether in the draft or FA this is what he needs to do. Other posters have more info than me about what's actually out there. This way Dareus and K.W., if he stays can move to DE. Hughes can then be an OLB in the scheme. Fortunately, he may already have the CBs for his scheme.
  22. Too under appreciated. So long.
  23. On the balance of it I like how TT developed in his first year as a starter. But to get the big contract, for me, he has to prove he can come up big when the game is on the line and the ball is in his hands. This was his biggest weakness in 2015. The Bills are right to wait until next year. The audition is not over.
