  1. Horrible Harry was one of those guys l really wanted the Bills to draft and was happy when we got him in the 3rd round.
  2. The night of the Josh Allen NFL draft - my wife and I were on vacation in Charleston, S.C. We went to dinner at a place that had a large TV that they changed to the NFL draft for us...ummm - l mean for me lol. Honestly l was not happy because l read all the negatives about Allen and was concerned he could be as good as he has been. The trading up to get Edmunds made me feel better. As a fan - because l am happier when we are winning - any Bills player is an extension of my personality maybe Allen a little more because he is a likable guy and hard worker. Ironically, his last name is my first name so hearing my buddies yell "Alright Allen!" sounds a lot better to me than "Awe #&#^% Allen!" lol
  3. Local news interviewed the season ticket holder from Rochester who caught the ball, said he was tracking it from the throw and it came right to him, hit him right on the numbers and fans went crazy!
  4. It would be interesting if he went to another team to help answer the question: Is it Brady or is it Belichick's system
  5. Are you Sean McDermott ? ? Great forecasting sir!
  6. Did you ever catch when Lorenzo and Donald Jones would go at it with during segments hurling funny insults at each other? You could tell they were just busting chops but hilarious how Lorax always got the best of him lol
  7. Everyday I'd listen to Shopp and Bulldog to hear Bills talk and because L had five fantasy football teams but now with Radio.com - I'll instead listen to earlier WGR segments or a podcast. It's easy to call John Murphy a homer, since he is paid by the Pegulas, but he knows his team's stats from being the play by play guy - so why fault that knowledge? If you listen long enough - - you'll pick up that unlike Shopp where it's a job - with Murph - he is a Bills fan first. i remember when we traded Sammy Watkins (on air) Murphy was as shocked as the listeners and questioned management instead of saying it was a good move - It's also cool that he acknowledges the fans on the way into the booth on Sundays -seems like a good guy and has good guests, for the most part. Personally i prefer hearing SAL! Cappacio ....SAL! Cappachio ...;-)
  8. May have been referring to the Dolphins management staff - sure seems that way.
  9. Wife and I are getting ready for a 2 hour drive from Rochester (listening to PreGame on Radio) to Cuba NY area, to go to my son's girlfriend's family for the first time - They are great people and also Bills Fans so we will all watch the game together. Our first time visiting them - l get antsy during the game so pray l don't scream too loud - lol. They are cooking a Tailgate Theme so hope they understand and scream with me... Go Bills!
  10. I won a contest and was able to help annonce him (John Waite and Lou Gramm ) at CMAC concert in '15 - he (and all) were nice guys -Eddie signed a shirt for my wife and we became even bigger fans. So when he put on a musical story of his life (with all his hits). in '18 called Two Tickets to Paradise - we went and saw it. One thing it talked about was when he almost died from partying too much (hospitalized for a while) and that was when he became sober - no drinking or drugs. Did it for his family and his health. RIP Eddie Mahoney Money - Heaven will have a little more Music this week...
  11. You may feel the same way -On Kick-off Sunday - l wake up like a kid on Christmas morning! Go Bills Baybeee Go Bills!
  12. Blast from the recent Past...Google search this morning on "notable nfl cuts" brought me to a link on all teams. I started to read AFC East and quickly realized it was from LAST year - lol. Still thought I'd share to recall some memorable names on here from Last Year's Training Camp final cuts..... LB Tanner Vallejo, DE Ryan Russell, WR Corey Coleman, DE Mat Boesen, OG Ike Boettger, DB Breon Borders, DB Ryan Carter, WR Kaelin Clay, OT Gerhard de Beer, WR Malachi Dupre, RB Keith Ford, DT Rickey Hatley, DE Albert Havili, OT Josh James, DE Mike Love, DB Dean Marlowe, TE Nick OâLeary, WR Cam Phillips, OT Mo Porter, WR Austin Proehl, C Adam Redmond, WR Brandon Reilly, RB Sam Rogers, LB Corey Thompson, TE Keith Towbridge, DB Levi Wallace, OT DeâOndre Wesley, LB Xavier Woodson-Luster, RB Travaris Cadet, DE Terrence Fede, DB Kelcie McCray, P Jon Ryan, WR Rod Streater, DT Tyrunn Walker
  13. Excellent Achievement! Please Keep up the Great Work sir!
  14. Your user name and this post made me chuckle. There is no question a 7th rounder has a lot to prove but draft pundits spoke highly of Sweeny's hands/catching ability and sounds like veteran TE Lee Smith has taken Sweeny under his wing,. Did you see Sweeny's over the shoulder catch Friday night?
  15. l am rooting for Duke Williams - because l feel we need a big WR , but he may be better playing more with Barkley or Tyree... So Duke Williams may have higher numbers at the end of the game, because of his connections with QB2/3, - but if Allen has better chemistry with one over the other-could see them instead keeping RayRay on the teamteam.
  16. https://www.rochesterjazz.com/artists?artist_id=555 The sons of Allman Bros band playing this Friday night in Rochester. I'll be going. It's my favorite kind of concert ..."Free"
  17. My son, recent Niagara University grad, asked if he could help, and was sent an invite/Thank you from Mr. Del Reid to be a part of the Volunteers there today. He drove from Rochester this morning and is there helping at to New Era Field. So cool Pancho, in spite of the awful health issues, was still thinking of others...
  18. It's the time of the season When love runs high And this time, give it to me easy And let me try with pleasured hands To take you in the sun to (promised lands) To show you every one It's the time of the season for loving What's your name? Who's your daddy? (He rich) Is he rich like me? Has he taken, any time (any time) (To show) to show you what you need to live...
  19. .... Smoke on the water, fire in the sky Smoke on the water (Guitar Riff! Blares...) We ended up at the Grand hotel It was empty cold and bare But with the Rolling truck Stones thing just outside Making our music there With a few red lights and a few old beds We make a place to sweat No matter what we get out of this I know we'll never forget...
  20. If I leave here tomorrow Would you still remember me For I must be traveling on, now Cause there's too many places I've got to see.
  21. These eyes...cry every night for you. These arms long to hold you again.
  22. I didn't know that background of how he died. I am the youngest sibling at 55 but with older brothers and sisters being fans - he was a pretty big deal back in the day. Saw a special last year that reported he first took drugs in the service, where soldiers took them to stay alert. When he returned from Duty, he took the drugs more often, then constantly when his manager was making him work too hard (movies, concerts, specials). Sad the toll it took. Last year business took me to Tennessee so I took my wife and daughter to Nashville (a blast) then Graceland. We spent the night at the Graceland Hotel that was beautiful but a little over the top, like a casino, in the foyer. They had a movie theater inside and every night they play an Elvis Movie for the guests. Good movie but no popcorn though lol. At Graceland - they didn't let us go upstairs but the whole first floor, his finished basement area, and the grounds were well kept including where he is buried with his mom there. They also had his recording studio building as part of the tour, a museum on site with lots of memorabilia, and we paid a few bucks extra to tour his private jet that was also there on the grounds. I know I typed a lot so if you're still reading....(In my best Elvis Voice:) Thannngyouahhhh Verrry Muchahhh!
  23. While looking for Bills related draft stories I found this... I was going to start a new post to share the link but did a quick search and thought it could go here... Last year in Round 1 - My head was still spinning about drating Josh Allen when we moved up and grabbed LB Edmunds! Hoping his second year is another big step up towards his potential as Tremaine is easy to root for http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-mock-draft-live/0ap3000001026687/Edmunds-brothers-discuss-2019-expectations-for-Bills-Steelers Pretty cool that the interview shows him and his brother and that Only one of them is wearing their Team Logo, right?
  24. Buffalo History Museum has several floors of interesting local and national history. Took my son (studying to be a Social Studies Teacher) and he loved it. Nice tribute to late great Tim Russert, too.
