  1. Another narrative that I would like to believe is what they used to think of our fan base - They used to say we are a bunch of chicken wing eating crazy fans....um ok point taken, they maaaay still got us on that one there lol - but they have also seen the passionate fan base grow and that is including in generosity from Andy Dalton's charity, and then this year with Oishei Children's donations and 26 Shirts has been amazing too! And some old lines were said about the players that some would not want to play for Buffalo like it was in Siberia or something yet - we have a great team with guys who know they have a home and can be the best version of themselves. And the multi-million dollar training facility shows the owners have deep pockets for their guys too.
  2. To quote Michael Scott - "I am not superstitious...but I am a little sticious." lol I felt the exact same way when receiving The Josh Allen jersey for Father's Day this year and the season has gone ( to quote Larry David) "pretty pretty pretty good"! Wear it with pride my brother. Go Bills!
  3. Ian is a really good one and was on WGR recently - I think the link should work: https://www.radio.com/wgr550/podcasts/howard-and-jeremy-20258/01-05-ian-eagle-from-nfl-on-cbs-353887959 Seems like Ian will do a great job - but truth be told I typically listen to pregame on the radio and then keep it on for the Buffalo Bills radio play by play coverage (Murph/Tasker and Sal Capaccio) and have the TV on for video only - the TV guys aren't as in tune with the Bills.
  4. His book "Big Russ and Me: Father and Son: Lessons of Life" is one of my favorites - could hear him telling the store as I read it. We all lost a good one when he passed. Great Bills football and fandom Video - A blast from the past as we're looking towards the future!
  5. Wise Words of Wisdom from Winston Churchill, Jim Valvano and the late great Stuart Scott...
  6. Your professional demeanor is what helps make sports fun - we can both love our teams without trying to start a brawl with the opponents fans. Indy is a cool area - we had a blast attending the Indianapolis 500 - restaurants are great. Was happy for Reich when he got the Coach's nod over the patriots coach that bailed - "just" 28 years ago I was in the crowd at The Comeback game and later met F R at a charity golf tournament - and he was genuinely as nice as he always seemed...
  7. Chris Brown reporting this is going to happen. The Dolphins radio guy on WGR and said he really liked Stills when he was with the Dolphins and seemed depressed the Bills are getting him.
  8. Hope you're all having a Cool Yule - Merry Christmas to you and your families - and Go Bills!
  9. Thank you to OP for sharing that video - As Bills fans - we knew of this but what an awesome collage of memories and shows the humble integrity of #17. Also like that A.P.O. motto Josh uses: Adjust - Persevere - Overcome Go Bills!
  10. We're an American bandWe're an American bandWe're comin' to your townWe'll help you party it downWe're an American band
  11. Hey Sloan Bills Fan - First and foremost - well wishes on the medical and family issues! Speaking on behalf of a Bills fan that was around the Super Bowl run seasons - yes sir - it sure makes watching the games and the local sports coverage a lot more fun. Enjoy it with a grateful smile...
  12. Who else takes pride when national respected sports guys talk great about The Bills?!?! That was a great watch! Thank you OP aka Mr. S, Nasty!
  13. This post spoke to me - similar in that my son is 24 and has been a true Bills Fan since he was a kid because - well - his ol' man loved them, as my Dad did too, My son would still stay a true fan even when his school friends would just root for whoever was winning. So grateful and glad for our kids and all Bills fans that have waited too long for MNF Victories like we just experienced .
  14. ATTN: Long Time Bills Fans: Remember when the late 80s/early 90s it was always the Bills and the 49ers near or at the top of their conference? The No Punt Game against them ended with us winning 34-31 and do not think the defenses tonight will let the scores get that high this time, but hoping for the same kind of outcome... Go Bills!
  15. Speaking of the Eagles - did you see what they did to this guy? https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/12/01/someone-bet-500000-on-the-seahawks-giving-6-5/ $500K bet Loss on the late TD and 2 point conversion...YIKES! Hard to get happy after that one....
  16. Interesting ranking - Thanks for sharing. Logan Thomas was someone I thought would get more opportunities here, but Bill-eiving that Knox will soon be back to the Angry Run caliber TE we were looking forward to this season yet. Do you think between he and Kroft we have a pass catching/blocking TE or are you ready to move on?
  17. Happy Tuesday! What a Great take to wake up to sir! Go Bills!
  18. Late to the Tribute but donation made today. This is another reason why I will put our fans up against anyone else's in the country, and it will help others too!
  19. This is a day the D needs to make a statement against a solid team... Are you ready for some Footbaaaaahhhll?!?!
  20. Having a feeling it has to do with a birthday so probably a lower # ...I was feeling 27 (for Tre White) - but will go lower with lucky #....15?
  21. All good guesses and didn't see #1 so i'll go with that as in #1 in AFC East Bay-Bee!
  22. i missed a week because i was used to making (most) picks as late as Sunday AM in old league but now need to do it before Thursday night football... Love stuff like this like FF - gets the whole day to be a competition. Speaking of competition - i saw a t-shirt that said : "My wife and I laugh about how competitive we are - BUT I LAUGH A LOT MORE !" lol
  23. Love it! Those would all be awesome! In Boston it would be something like: ... "Kraft's shaft get the last laugh."
  24. I believe you are going to be psychic. The Bills seem to have no issue with hiring coaches to get the most out of their players and could absolutely see this happening. Question is - could a player ever hire these guys on their own to get the most out of their position/career?
  25. Who else wakes up on Game Day like a kid on Christmas morn'? Go Bills!
