  1. It is a tall order. There is some stat that says when you Blitz Brady - his TD to Interception Ratio is crazy good (was around 70 - 1 when we played him earlier in the season). However I agree the pressure up the middle will be Key. The other tactic is to make the D look Vanilla prior to doing that - the more he reads what D we have the quicker he can find the soft spot. Frazier has to work up some schemes that are more dangerous than they look....
  2. I voted for Kyle Williams even though I would love to see him keep playing because of his Leadership and tough play. What would hurt is if he decided to play elsewhere - like Thurman Thomas did playing for the Dolphins (I thought that was a sure sign of the Apocalypse ) but once Kyle hangs his cleats, like Phil Hanson - I don't think he'll suit up for anyone else - unlike the others on the list that I could see looking to be playing on....
  3. Thank you for sharing and wishing Blessings on you and your Family
  4. Not sure how National GMs really looked at him but back when Hyde was still a Packer and names were being thrown around as possible Buffalo Bills pick ups - WNY Sports shows had him near top of the list as a great fit that they thought would never end up here.
  5. "Thank you Shaq - may I have another?!"
  6. Alright RBF of TBD!! A little bounce back in my step around Greece... Beating the Chiefs was a huge win that many national talking heads didn't see coming - we really needed that and it helps our 1st round draft pick from them, too! Go Bills!
  7. Imagine a world without hypothetical questions As a Bills Fan - I would say we had too many weapons to be contained. Happy Thanksgiving and Go Bills!
  8. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21507477/seattle-seahawks-waive-de-dwight-freeney http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21507824/new-england-patriots-cut-cassius-marsh-trading-september Thought a thread would be started - adding to get your input...and wonder if Coach, Frazier and Beane would be interested in them?
  9. This week - the KC play-by-play guys were on John Murphy Show and they said Ragland has an explosive side to him that has been getting better. They also said the obvious - that their Defensive scheme, same as Rex Ryan's, is what makes Ragland more valuable to them than the Bills. Truthfully I was excited when we drafted him and he had looked good when attending Training Camp.
  10. Heard his flight goes straight to New Jersey today to get to the Team so not as much time to learn like Deonte Thompson. Someone on radio commented if Benjamin plays Thursday- he may simply run simple routes but the Jets will have to account for him and that should lessen the "stacking of the box" to open up the Run game.
  11. Thank you Mr. Nucci - One of Life's mysteries solved Thanks to TSW Elders. Greatly Appreciate the reply and info. Go Bills!
  12. That was a good question/answer(s). My question is: Will Marcel Dareus count against the Comp Formula or not because Dareus was traded (as oppossed to went away like Gilmore). Sorry if this seems like a petty question since I am Not all about the Comp picks but curious if it will count or not. Thanks in advance guys.
  13. I agree with Nucci to offer a low draft pick. Can you imagine if in a few weeks we "could" have Mathews, PRYOR, Zay Jones, and in the wings D. Thompson/ROD STREATER and Charles Clay back at Tight End? That would likely cause Defenses to stay out of the box and open the Run Game....
  14. Thoughts and Prayers for their whole family during this time of sorrow.
  15. I think the loss stings because it was so close and if we won - we'd be talking less about rebuilding and more about fine tuning - okay maybe not that far forward but it would have been a great road win. But do agree it can still be a good season to root for the Bills and will be at the game this weekend with my son and hope it is as much fun as the opener was -supposed to be just as warm if not warmer.
  16. Well Said! Gives us more to learn and watch for this season. Keep Up the Great Work!
  17. Thank You Go Bills in Dallas for doing this! and Love the thought provoking quotes you have listed under your posts. Reminds me of a good one from a Business Acumen 20/20 book: "Attitude Determines Altitude" let's hope our Team has the right attitude this season. Go Bills!
  18. I had always wondered that - Thank you for the insight Kelly the Dog
  19. I wanted to see J Will stay because he flashed versatility in preseason and also so we'd feel less upset that other 5th round pick Gilislee is gone....read above JWIll is eligible for practice squad - didn't know that and why the delay to sign him?
  20. "....my super heroes were on the field" - Love It! Thanks for sharing - Go Bills!
  21. I heard that story as well by Tasker and I laughed too. Tasker also told of the time he saw Joe had the RV all packed to go to Jim's Hunting Camp and how happy and proud the Dad was to be spending time with his sons. Sounds like a great Dad and sure he will be missed by al that came to know and love him. RIP
  22. Initially Murphy said he was shocked and didn't see it coming. A caller said Boldin probably quit before the Bills cut him and Murphy said he didn't think the Bills were going to cut him - they wanted him play and his for leadership. The only spin I heard (and really not a "spin" was he stated the obvious that other current WR players will get more playing time which may be better for them but he didn't say if it would be better for the team - we will see.
  23. I know I'll be in the minority here but I listen to their show everyday. My favorite is on demand since no commercials - just content - but obviously no calling in that way. Certainly Murph is paid as his job to be upbeat about the team but he is a fan of the team, like us, and on air he was as shocked as we were with the Sammy trade. DJ doesn't rock the boat as much and has some interesting perspectives being a former player. As another poster said - everyday we are looking for info on our team and that show, and its guests, provide a 3 hour play every weekday. As for the spin - he will probably say he "was looking forward to seeing Boldin but if he doesn't want to be here - then why would you want him to stay". As for me personally - I wanted Boldin to want to be here - he did seem to be professional and that he would be great for locker room. Flame away but I might not be back to my favorite website here until later today.
