  1. Agreed - I think Tirico is a clear upgrade over Michaels. I'm happy with the switch.
  2. Just told my buddies yesterday that this loss is right up there with the Stevie drop and the McKelvin fumble.
  3. MMQB, but take the knee on the kick off so you get the ball around the 20 with 1 sec on clock. Then you throw a deepish ball really short and have WR turn back into defender to draw PI. One untimed down around the 40 for a chance for GW FG.
  4. Again - I think he could be Myles Garrett esque level of pass rusher. Put him on IR for the year and have him learn behind Hughes and Addison. Heck even Zo. He can be the next Lorenzo Alexander. MLB is not a fit for him.
  5. We already have one freak athlete tight end who can't catch... but I agree with the other options
  6. Anyone else think that Edmunds has the athletic profile to be an elite edge rusher? He's 6'5' 250 Comparables: Jadeveon Clowney 6'5 255 Myles Garret 6'4 272 TJ Watt 6'4 252 Josh Allen *Jags 6'5 262 Nick Bosa 6'4 266 Chase Young 6'5 265 I would be in favor of shutting him down on the 3 week IR and having him come back as more of a 3-4 OLB. He is ineffective at MLB.
  7. He tweeted today that he was on an extended vacation but is back now. I think it could have been a wedding and HM possibly.
  8. Cooper is extremely overrated. He's a top 25 WR and that's about as high as I'd rank him.
  9. I agree that it's very deep. 3 starting caliber DEs, 3 starting caliber DTs, 2 rotational DEs, and 2 rotational DTs. However, I think we have 1 above average player in Ed Oliver. The rest are all average, including Hughes and Addison as this point in their career. Epenesa is an unknown. So yes this is a deep group, but with very little above average talent.
  10. Over Over Under Over Over Over Under Under Under Over
  11. Makes sense that Beane asks everyone in the organization to give their input on how the recruit reacts. Reminds me a story I came across a few years ago. Great leadership from Beane. https://www.businessinsider.com/charles-schwab-ceo-takes-job-candidates-to-breakfast-messes-up-their-order-2016-2
  12. Fitz was/is the ultimate pendulum quarterback. When he is on his game, he's likely one of the top 5 QBs in the league. When he is off his game he is likely one of the bottom 5 QBs. It just so happens that you never know when good/bad Fitz would come out and therefore it was hard to build a consistent offense around him. With Tyrod, albeit very conservative, you knew exactly what you were getting every play.
  13. For me it's Mims or bust in this draft. I think he will be the best WR when it's all said and done.
  14. I think at this time next year you'll be saying that there aren't 5 tight ends better than Knox in the NFL.
  15. I wouldn't trade for him at all. He literally has two cinder blocks on the end of his wrists.
  16. Is Josh Allen's accuracy still ridiculous. You legitimately can see the arm motion locking in on a target and the hand then turning and sailing a good 15 yards wide of it. Just crazy
  17. I want to see Christian Wade as a core special teams player next year. IMO he has the perfect skill set to be a gunner, punt returner, and kick returner. Heck I'd even like to see him punting the ball. Punting, receiving, and tackling are all required skills of a professional rugby player.
  18. Right - I'll never forget that call on Nickell Robey. That was a game of crazy emotional swings with the ups and downs.
  19. If I am Beane I would do the following: 1. Cut Murphy 2. Resign Shaq with Murphy's savings - effectively gives you the same player or slight upgrade who is 3 years younger 3. Sign Emmanuel Ogbah (another above average end who provides youth) 4. Draft K’Lavon Chaisson (absolute freak), AJ Epenesa, or Yetur Gross in the first round Then you have ends of Shaq, Ogbah, Hughes, and Rookie 1st rounder. Love/Johnson rotate in
  20. Joe B is a good reporter but his knowledge of football is rudimentary at best. If you're looking for detailed analysis and breakdowns from and all-22 perspective I'd recommend Aaron Quinn from Cover 1, Joe Marino from the Draft Network, and Bruce Nolan from Buffalo Rumblings. I tend to ignore Joe B's all-22 analysis because like a few of you have said, his grading system is totally unexplained and illogical. I think I started to realize this after the Philly game when he graded Star so well after we got absolutely gashed.
  21. WTF!!!! I live out of town.... Guess I'll have to go to a bar!
  22. Is this for all of the NFL or just for the Bills? I have a hard time believing that we are only giving up 22.8 yards per kick return. Given how good our defense has been this year, I would argue that every kickoff should go through the end-zone and we should take our chances at the 25 and make their offense go 75 yards every time.
