  1. I’ll give you Hurts and the Eagles. But he’s young and kind of almost disposable on a rookie deal. He had one more rushing yard than Josh. Mahomes had about half the rushes and half the yards as Josh. “Second leading” can be…..misleading.
  2. I think it was actually that guy’s back up. Yes, but not every team relies upon the QB for such a high percentage of their rushing yards. I mean, the Ravens do that, if you remember that Lamar guy we haven’t seen much of the last couple years.
  3. Not snarky, but I wonder where we would stand without Josh’s rushing yards. That’s fine in his early years, but Josh needs to be our starting QB, and designed running should be used judiciously. Without him, we be up the creek, and the water will be muddy (that is a euphemism).
  4. Remember when the Broncos could put the janitor in at RB and he’d get a thousand yards and a Pro Bowl trip? I want THAT!
  5. In was pretty careful with sunscreen for three plus decades playing tennis in Hilton Head, SC, then Sarasota, FL. I’d put it on before playing, then sweat buckets and towel myself off. There would be puddles below my seat. It’s impossible to reapply once you are soaking wet. My dermatologist in Florida told me to move back to Buffalo while she was burning spots off my face. 🤷‍♂️
  6. KISS UP!!! 😋
  7. I’m pretty sure you can get in trouble for that.
  8. Did anyone read the article and peak at the results over his time with the Bills. He wasn’t “just 13 seconds”.
  9. No. No, it is not. Unless, of course, you have an extra billion or so to throw into the pot. Here’s a test for you: how do Cleveland, Pittsburg, Chicago, Green Bay, Cincinnati, Jets, Giants and Cheaters*, and Kansas City survive? It’s just a financial reality. . It will NOT be a dome. Get over it. That ship has sailed.
  10. Ummmm, huh? So what are you in this for? I have a childhood friend I still text with weekly. He was a soccer and tennis kid in high school, but is now into marathons. He runs. And runs. And….He looked like he belonged in Hospice the last time I saw him in person. He looked sick and emancipated. His wife begged me to get him to understand it, and she’s a therapist! Balanced and healthy appeals to me.
  11. I’m struggling to think of how weed would get me from 220 lbs to 166 lbs. Maybe the other way around? 😂 .
  12. I am NOT against you, my friend. I wish you nothing but the best. I just think a lot of people think “the label” will make them all fine and dandy. Processed foods are evil, that would be my first target. One unnamed relative calls a couple others “twinkietarians”. Meat and how to get your protein is just one issue. What is in all the other garbage they intentionally label to to look “healthy”? You must feel a lot better down from 220lbs. That takes a lot of toll on the rest of the body to carry that around. Go pick up a bag of cement and imagine all that pressure on your knees and the rest of your body.
  13. I have a close friend who has a weakness for Pepsi. He cut back on that, as well as some other things, and he’s down 19 LBS as of yesterday. Sugar, and artificial sweeteners, are as bad as almost anything out there if you can’t keep it in moderation. A steak would stand out. I HAD RED MEAT! A rare event for us. Get over it. Sugar is everywhere, and it’s a serious problem. I think obesity has to start with an eye on sugar, not chicken breasts. But you had to know it would come up. If you want to discuss a topic, I think it’s fair to look at it from every angle. I’m not bashing it, just pointing out some fair thoughts, IMO. If we are going to discuss it, we need should define it, at the very least. By all means, everyone should make their own decisions. Not judging anyone else’s actions or opinions. .
  14. To each their own, I guess. Who am I to judge?
  15. Umm, seriously……where is the line? I’m sure there’s a spectrum.
  16. You should have dropped by to say hello! I have walked home from The Battery before. Not because I was too drunk or blacked out, but when Uber let me down with no drivers. Good thing there are so few cars on 400, 285 and 75. It’s “only” a dozen or so lanes along there. That’s a LONG way to go! We had a friend who took part of an ambien and went to bed. They thought all was fine until a friend reached out he next day and thanked him from dropping by. He had no recollection of ever leaving the house. That is some scary stuff!
  17. One play didn’t create the mess that is me, but I sure did love Don Beebe running down Leon Lett! I loved that fighting spirit! NEVER GIVE UP!
  18. Vegetarian is fairly doable, full vegan is a real challenge! Our DIL is vegetarian and we manage to have them over for meals with little effort. It’s often a boatload of chopping, or a trip to Whole Foods to see what they have out. My BIL and his wife tried vegan for a while as she’s battling stage 4 cancer. Desperate times can lead to desperate measures. After a year or so I know he’s back to eating meat again. It’s every individuals choice, but it can make things tough on friends and family who have to accommodate. It’s just one small thing to consider, not to change your plans but it’s just a little different if you have a group who wants to go out for a bite to eat. Good luck with it!
  19. I’ll have to say…..that would depend upon a few different factors. 😋
  20. Doing it right beats doing it fast, IMO.
  21. Your #1 is huge to me! I wouldn’t go to State Farm Arena in ATL for anything for years because the seating was uncomfortably tight. I’m not huge by any means at 6’1”, but I had nowhere to put my legs! I ended up walking the whole second half of a Hawks game because the seating space sucked! We know virtually nothing about 2-4, and that’s where we need the biggest improvements. How can anyone judge without knowing the answers there? EDIT: I’ve heard the seats have been rearranged at State Farm Arena. It couldn’t be worse. .
  22. Just a funny little aside, when Atlanta got the fancy new stadium (which I can’t say I love) they bragged about how they were going to have very affordable concessions. It was true, they were cheap, but on three different occasions at a single Falcons game I gave up waiting in LONG lines to get one of those cheap hotdogs and a beer. Some things sound good, but are not all they were cracked up to be. This may say something about the people who are so clearly unhappy about the stadium that we know so little about. If I had my choice, it would probably be a domed stadium downtown. But it’s not. I can live with that. All I hope for now is for everything to run smoothly and efficiently with good sight-lines. Get it right and don’t have any unexpected setbacks. One of the fancy new stadiums (SoFi in LA?) had steps so steep it would be a battle for many people to get to the upper seats, where the average person would battle vertigo. It may look shiny and pretty, but I would not want to sit in the seats I saw a video from. I may be disappointed when I first see the new home of the Bills, but I certainly don’t know enough about the interior and amenities for me to have much of an opinion today.
  23. I am George Clooney, only handsome. I mean, maybe if one removes their corrective lenses?
  24. Yes? Oh, I’m sorry! A bartender at a place I have lunch maybe three times a month once told me I look like Steve Martin. That made me feel old, but I’m sure Steve Martin would say “at least I’m not ugly!” 😂 .
  25. How well do you know Nashville? We used to have a property in Green Hills just south of Belmont and Vandy. I love the city! I fear they can’t handle the growth, but it’s not my problem. Nashville gets a fancy new dome because they can have 100k+ people show up on any given weekend for some random event or convention. Like pretty much every weekend! They need more venues! WNY? Not so much. I’m tired of pointing out the obvious.
