  1. I think I’m going to look for Yolo……
  2. Don’t let those pesky facts get in the way of a tired narrative! Beane can’t draft, and McD and his coordinators can’t coach. It must be our special teams that makes us a Super Bowl favorite….AGAIN.
  3. ….waste of my time. He seems to have an agenda and thinks he’s smarter than the rest of us.
  4. Clearly the intent here is to once again point out how poorly the Bills have drafted. It’s also biased and an utter waste of time. If guys are “gone” that doesn’t mean they were a bust. Some are gone because they were too good and we couldn’t afford to pay what other teams were offering them. Other guys are gone and we received value for them in a trade. Names in red are not all wasted picks. If we are so terrible at drafting, why are we a top 5 team in the league. We can’t draft, and we can’t coach, yet we are still a top team in the NFL. Something is wrong with that picture.
  5. He was a little like Kelly. He might have a ring or two if he was willing to run the ball a little more. Some degree of balance is critical in most aspects of life. .
  6. That would have been a TOTALLY different sight. No doubt.
  7. My brother-in-law a few hours away in Greenville, SC had kids in school with Zion Williamson. You had to buy season tickets to get into those private high school hoops games! On Prom night they had a bunch of kids over for a pool party. The doorbell rings, and Zion joins the party. His parents came to be sure this was a more wholesome environment than the first prom party. (I freely admit I could fit into either party.) EDIT: To clarify, nobody I knew went on to be famous. But even better, some went on to be quite successful without being famous!
  8. This will come off as whining to some folks, but that WNY weather did not help us against the Bengals in the playoffs. Don’t get me wrong, I thought the better team won. But Brady, Mahomes and others have said how a slick field favors the passing game. It’s hard to get traction for any speed rush. Because we play so much zone, it’s also harder on the DB’s to break quickly on the ball. We lost to a better team, we got crushed because of our scheme and unfortunate circumstances. We will know when the stars have aligned. We are but mere mortals, never meant to understand why we have to endure as we do.
  9. Keep working at it, it’s not as easy as it should be! The Bills and everything related certainly don’t help that.
  10. So…..you didn’t pick up on the facial recognition at the home opener a couple years ago? Cool. 😋 I kid, it seems I’ve got two straight books dealing with this creepy stuff! I’m BORING! Leave me alone! Nuthin’ to hide here….. Somebody has probably already PM’ed YOLO. If he wants back, he knows he’ll have a warm welcome. I hope it’s just a healthy break. I get that, and he deserves it. Maybe the Bills can draft the guy who becomes the best ever OSU WR in the NFL. A four time Super Bowl MVP, and first ballot HOF guy!
  11. Even the cold people look down on those with no wallets.
  12. I suspect you could be WR coach at LSU for a year or two and get an NFL job. You might have to show up for some practices and probably attend game days. What a CRAZY WR factory!
  13. I suggest a deep breath. It’s wasn’t just one game. I see him as being a bit like Knox where he frustrated me, but I felt he’d be fine in time. He DOES have talent, and a new WR coach might help. I appreciate a WR coming back with a high ankle sprain because his team needed him. You can say it didn’t cause the drops, to which I reply I still have more faith in him than many. Time will tell.
  14. I hope Yolo is smiling like Cuba Gooding, Jr as Rod Tidwell in Jerry McGuire, soaking in the love before springing up to once again entertain us all!!! Seriously, a break can be healthy, I hope that’s all it is.
  15. That sounds………….expensive. And they will both be 31 during next season. I think we will be younger and cheaper, for what it’s worth. Older and more expensive seems out of reach given our situation.
  16. I wish that surprised me a little more than it did. I would have no idea. Who would know? Trust your vender, hopefully.
  17. Gabe benefits from having Josh as QB, no doubt. But he’s also hurt because we have other options like Diggs and Knox so the ball gets spread around more. Some of this will come down to circumstances and pure luck. So…..🤷‍♂️ Regardless, I want them to add someone to step in and be the clear #2 to Diggs.
  18. Start a poll, and I will vote! Hodgins was a bit cheaper because he was taken a little later in the draft. No idea yet what the terms of the new deal are. Gabe needs a big year to earn the big paycheck, but he’s already done things Hodgins could only dream of, like 4 TD’s in a playoff game.
  19. Wishing Hodgins all the best (in the NFC), but my vote would be Gabe all day long. I’m not giving up on him. In fact, I look for a big rebound season if he stays healthy.
  20. We went to a cooking class at the Viking store a few years ago. About half the people there and already attended the knife skills class. I don’t know what they chopped all night, but it really makes sense. If you can prep quick and easy, the whole experience is better. That is especially true with a vegetarian now in the family. That leads to a LOT of knife work! One potential downside to the knife skills class, and I’m not sure how they handled it: at our class there was no wine until we put the knives away. That could be a deal breaker! 😋
  21. I believe it actually said Chilean, but I could be wrong there. I’ll pay closer attention net time, but just hearing Patagonian Toothfish is making me hungry!!!
  22. I knew the last asst was leaving, but I don’t think I’ve seen a replacement named. I wonder what is happening behind the scenes with these moves. Did he want to be with the Rams, or did Kromer not come away impressed after a year of working with him? While we are at it, when we lost Poyer and Hyde at safety, the guys behind them struggled. Not shocking that we will have a new safeties coach too. The coaching shuffle is phase #1, followed by free agency then the draft. Praying for upgrades on all levels, including coaches capable of developing our guys.
  23. I’ve enjoyed their gigantic shrimp many times, but I looked at the frozen fish options for the first time today. We do a LOT of fish, and I’ll be going back to try some of that. I had other errands to run so didn’t grab anything frozen today, but the prices for things like sea bass and halibut (usually VERY expensive!) seemed extremely reasonable. Like $5/portion of sea bass that will cost you $36-$48 (with bok choy -why do they almost always put bok choy with sea bass?) at a restaurant.
  24. I’ve never tried their frozen fish, but I’ll look today as I’m heading to Costco. It’s our anniversary and my wife loves yellow roses with red tips. I got them for a few years from “the best florist in Atlanta”…..and they were always sad in 24 hours and dead in 48-72 hours. The wife even went behind my back and complained resulting in replacement flowers, that also died promptly. I discovered paying ~$150 from the fancy place for lousy flowers was one more point of proof that I’m an idiot. The same roses from Costco are like $19 (and we have a collection of vases) and they last an almost 2 weeks. While I’m there I can stroll up and down the aisles and effectively have lunch, one sample at a time.
  25. Let’s give credit where credit is due. Plenz is capable of supervising the creation of some very tasty wings. There’s even a chance he will remember the butter……
