  1. There are very few BIG cities that I like, and even the ones I do like are just for visits. I like that tier of smaller size cities beneath the NYC or Chicago level. I love Nashville and we used to have a place there, but fear the growth will ruin it. I used to spend a lot of time in Charleston, SC for work and loved that history, charm and great food. Somewhere in between there is my strike zone for the proper city size.
  2. The bold makes me wonder about your take on cities. I went to school in Cincinnati and still get back on a regular basis. I would never live there again due to the weather, but downtown is great. I don’t think of it as being industrial at all, though there must be some. Very walkable with stadiums and parks and a great bar scene. Over The Rhine (OTR) is hopping with new(er) breweries and restaurants. I’ve heard Detroit is coming back as well, but I haven’t been there in decades. The guy in the link below is doing a big project there and says the city is going in the right direction. https://www.wtbaker.com/residential-portfolio The guy who designed the properties in the link above thought enough of Buffalo architecture to go there on vacation to see it while his wife went to the beach. No offense, but I’ll trust his opinions on architecture over yours or mine. Many of us just don’t know what to look for. No, it’s not Charleston, SC or Nashville when it comes to drawing crowds, but it is not without merit. .
  3. How would you know if Fitzy was shirtless?
  4. One more Panthers connection. OJ is tied with Rae Carruth the way I see it.
  5. I used to work around Tim Donnaghy’s home. A beautiful house in a lovely neighborhood with a driveway full of toys for little kids. He made mistakes and his kids will suffer as a result. I know it happens all the time, but it still saddens me.
  6. The more I think about it, It would be nice if maybe we could corner the market in the 6th round! If you got a guy you want in the 6th, you’ve got to come thru Buffalo! We tried something like that with guys named “Williams” and that was kinda fun. 😋
  7. Umm, are little people offended by this at all? If not, maybe we can see the Washington Little People play soon under new management!
  8. Yep, I don’t expect that they would actually use more than one (at most), with the rest being used to move around. It will be a tough roster for any late round pick to crack.
  9. Add more chips to the pile to use as trade capital. Beane LOVES that stuff! But it does look funny when you have a ton of them. I was happy to carry some picks forward. That’s always a nice feeling.
  10. He was drafted for his physical tools and his ceiling. This is a guy you develop, not trade. You never have too many capable CB’s. I’m with you, hoping it starts to slow down for him and he lives up to his draft status. My first thought was Basham. If he’s not going to make the team, you take what you can get. I’m not saying that will be the case with Basham, but somewhere there is going to be the odd man out on roster spots.
  11. We will save this post for when Kincaid gets elected into the HOF. 😋 I don’t think you can make blanket statements like that. Every situation is different, and I understand trying to get one STUD over two or three JAG’s. Was it worth trading up for Josh?
  12. I have a buddy who is taking his grandkids to the Bengals preseason game tonight. The kids will enjoy it, you don’t have to worry about winning and losing, and you can leave whenever they get bored or you just feel like leaving. That’s about all I got by way of a positive twist. I remember going with my girlfriend and a couple buddies to see a preseason game decades ago. We had a blast, but it was nothing like going to an actual Bills football game. It’s was a party in the stadium with football for background. I remember where we sat, we played the Broncos and there was vodka and lemonade involved. Somebody probably won. It’s a shame you have to buy these tickets to get seasons, but I guess you just have to look at it as part of the bigger picture. At the very least, get it down to two games, home and away. That way you only have to buy one.
  13. Thanks! I had seen that before, but it’s been a while and it means even more with football about to start! Well worth the time to watch again if you are wondering.
  14. WE’RE #1!!! WE’RE #1!!!
  15. As I posted earlier, we have a big time architect/author neighbor/friend who does the best stuff in Atlanta and travels the world to do amazing jobs. He saw the Bills stuff in our house and said his wife was going to the beach with friends, but he’s not a beach guy. He was going to Buffalo that week on an architectural tour. Swear to God. He also sent pics of beer, wings, beef on weck and pizza. This guy knows his stuff! 😂
  16. Pong? That is where I launched my legendary career.
  17. Is this like Mr Potato Head? He doesn’t look very shifty to me.
  18. There is a massive blunder amongst us, and it is upsetting. .
  19. RIP I had my phase, and still one band I never find myself turning the station on. I would be nice to leave beautiful things behind when you move on.
  20. I’ve been to maybe a half dozen games in the old Nashville stadium, and I always had a great time. The stadium was nice without being too elaborate and it looked like a place where football was played. I’m sure the new stadium will be a great experience, but I find the exterior to be ugly as sin. It ain’t no Minneapolis! But to each their own. You are forgetting how those prices magically rise. We have some recent evidence of that.
  21. You know, a little whoopsie like that just might cost you your job. 🤷‍♂️
  22. Back in my banking days some people would ask “which set of books do you want to see?” That was never a good starting point. 😂 Nice investment for the Pegulas and I do not resent their profit for a single second. They kept the Bills in WNY, and they did not take anything from me that I wasn’t willing to part with.
  23. Does Vegas have an over/under on how many games the little fella plays? The under would be very tempting.
  24. The beginning of 2022? Or the end of 2022? The red zone is an issue for sure, but it’s not like we can ignore that it looked like we had a different offense at the end of the year after that amazing start. We can certainly be better than the way we finished last season. How much of that was the elbow injury and how much was other factors? We’ll probably never know.
  25. The BIGGEST question mark is still OLine, but we need legit options in the slot to have a well rounded offense. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a 7 yard completion that moves the chains.
