  1. People are just ribbing on you. No negativity!! Your right, I think the bulk of average fans could not care less about the stadium surface, thinking it doesnt matter. ANY HARDCORE FAN OF: NJ JETS/ NJ GIANTS/ DETROIT and others, can tell you, these BS badddd turf surfaces are a nightmare. These 3 fields had an ABSURDLY higher amount of ACL/MCL injuries than any other stadium due to a poor surface. It was far from an insignificant amount too. There was an article, and I want to say those fields specifically had a 75% higher rate than the average of the other ~30 surfaces. Not only do those knee injuries take away players for a year, killing entire teams seasons..... but they so often END CAREERS COMPLETELY. Ask OBJ, A Rodgers, Tre White, Von Miller and a boatload of others. F'n Detroits field cost us a SuperBowl in 2022 IMO, between 2 games in that stadium in one year: Thanksgiving (Von) and a Snowed Out one (Tre Whites first and most damaging injury). We were a SB team without those injuries, and I'll MF'ing DIE ON THAT HILL. Id love to see a calculation of how much those 3 fields costs players/owners in lost productivity/career earnings!!! Morons pinching pennies and costing hundreds of millions, not only to their team, but other owners/players as well. NFLPA should strong arm all these fields to grass
  2. Yeah theres been a bunch of stuff out about this. They even showed us the artificial light they use to supplement the sun. It reminded me of a tarp, but a few foot above the turf. Covered the entire field, and has state of the art bulbs that produce exactly the right UV rays to keep her healthy. Cool AF, and soooo far away from a cost efficient surface... a sign we arent cutting corners, and are really building (another) state of the art facility
  3. Insane take. We are one of the deeper teams in the NFL. Can our FULL 2nd team, compete with another's #1 team (young, talented team, led by one of the hottest coordinators turned HC, in Ben Johnson) ? No they can't. All reports were we beat dat ass in joint practice, and we were not going to that pre-season game to put a single thing on tape. BJ & the Bears, were in the opposite position. Am I ecstatic about that game? No. There are concerns, as all teams have. A pre-season game, at the end of a tough few days of joint practices, does not mean we lack depth. This is a pure doomer post trolling at worst, or insanely naive at best.
  4. 1st rd safety just should not happen. Sign someone thats not dumpster diving for value. Upper middle end of money, and get it done with. Im not ready to give up on him yet but if he doesn't come around this season, thats the move
  5. If there's one owner desperate enough to do it, its Cincis
  6. What are we thinking Cinci wants to get this done? Maybe a 2nd + something lower. Im not normally the madden "get every name" kinda dude... but i think one serious weapon at DE or WR puts us over the top. I have to pretend Bosa isn't even on this team, so anything we get outta him is a bonus. Parsons is a pipe dream. Hendrickson is obtainable. How many times have we seen Chris Jones make a game sealing play rushing the passer? Both against us and whoever in the playoffs. Getting an elite pass rusher would really swing my confidence in this team come January/February. Dude has several good years left in the tank and has been consistent year after year
  7. We're banged up at the position and the upside here is a SB or two. Adding brutal speed to both sides of the ball, in spots we had none would be such a huge win. We got screwed on Araiza. I bet beane is chomping at the bit. Get er dunnnn
  8. Seeing reports theres no deal with CLE but he "intends" to sign there. Get this mf'er on the phone and get him in house. Hes gunna play somewhere and we would've been the luckiest team on earth to draft him in the first. Zero cost. Crazy upside. Could be a finishing piece. Nothing happening with an arrest. WTF we are not too good for this
  9. Stiff. Rawwww. Not a natural football guy IMO. Only has bull rush. Low floor, heigh ceiling. All that said from a fan of the pick. If he develops right he could be a real steal... proli not getting much outta him this year though. But dude will work hard and give himself a chance to develop
  10. Terrel Bernard ring a bell? I'm not going to bother looking through everyone's post history here, but we only need to go back 2 seasons to find hot takes from guys like you. Even if it doesn't work out its not going to happen until we have had a chance to develop him (2 more years minimum). You don't get bonus points for moving on more quickly
  11. I dont know exactly how it works but maybe it means getting more classroom/film time! Almost like a mini pro "redshirt". Anybody smarter than me want to p*** in my half full cup? Lol New here? We didnt cut Bernard after s1... so now we learned our lesson and are cutting Coleman and Alopecia man!!! We're so smart
  12. Feels like a fun pet-name, for lack of a better term. Def didnt take it as a stiff work thing.
  13. 'Uncle Tre' was too cute and mega wholesome. God i love this team, who wouldnt want that kinda atmosphere
  14. Teddy getting suspended for all the stuff he was doing for those kids is def in the top 1,000 not fair list. Glad to see him back in NFL, good dude with a great attitude. That injury gave him a special outlook on life I can relate to. I lost an arm and broke several bones in a nasty accident in 2020, survived being on a ventilator. I know Teddys wasnt quite that but being a pro athlete and almost losing a leg is bound to change your mental chemistry. Dudes a beast for letting it be a positive change
  15. Wtf is he recovering from? Genuinely asking? Did he get banged up in camp? Or does he heal like a racoon stuck to a yellow line in the road Recovering from???? If its legit last years injury thats bonkers and cut bait immediately
  16. Please cut him 🙏 I know a soft landing spot for him.
  17. Pfffft. Sign me up for Ray Day who i think is a better fit for our offense. OL keeps him clean, and an absolute bear to bring down on first contact = chunk yards, high YPC, plus more tired defenses. Gunna need more than one man into tackle, everybody hustling/chasing to chip in on Defense. Our OL is the real darling. Why pay $15m for an extra 10% upside. No thanks
  18. I dont understand how anyone is talking about letting McGovern out the door. He was a major turning of the tide with when our OL went from solid to pretty darn great.... and he's done it at two positions (while sliding further away from D-Dawk and learning a new'ish position. hes playing on hard mode)... is young. Edwards is whatever, he feels more replaceable (even upgradeable) in the draft. McGovern's flexibility on the field can allow you flexibility if a killer G or C falls to a spot they shouldn't be avail. Re-sign him as soon as you can cap wise.... and extend Beach-Chairs immediately!!
  19. Could be the best time to trade him honestly!! If you arent close, might as well get something for him... a team trading for him his a friendly comparable deal to go off of, meaning somebody might be stoked to pay him $13m but not $15m, and theyll part with higher pics as a result. We all know that OL is a huge driving force! Bills have gotten a good chance to see what Ray-Day has done behind this OL... maybe they feel really good about it. Hes a better pass blocker (which is how this team determines 3rd D snap %), and has better hands, while not being as good of a route runner (at least for now). Running backs have a higher perceived value than they have at any point in the last 5-7 years! Im not sure what id want in a trade for him.... but I'd hope they're open to it!! Anybody out there thatd consider a p4p trade and get us a valuable WR? Likely not, but interesting things happening
  20. Diana Russinni says theyre close in $$$, but not necessarily a deal (this parts my interpretation), a report 5 hours ago..... this came out since, sounds like we'll know very shortly
  21. Hats and all merch been bad for a long time. Companies know they dont have much competition with licensing expenses.... so they piss on your cereal knowing damn well your hungry enough to eat it. See, Fanatics MLB/NHL! Its a sadistic experiment to shout F! U! in your face, and then laugh maniacally, cause they know eventually youll just get over it and buy something anyways Honestly, half the stuff on Etsy is cooler than this.... and the top 5%, are lightyears cooler than anything youve bought in a store!
  22. Augie, i'm far from a contract/cap buff, but thats good framework. Maxx Crosby AAV is ~ $37.5/year. I like Crosby overall more, hes elite pass rusher, better in the run game, but Micah's pass rush ability has higher ceiling/output. When you consider the "next man up" way elite contracts work (especially premium position).... i see him dead middle between Max and Myles..... ~~$38/$39m per year. IMO, definitely no more than $40m. Getting matching $40m wouldnt shock me. When you get over the sticker price, it's the 2nd most important position in football. Its a passing league. He gets sacks sure, but he generates pressure fast!! Important against the Mahomes/Tua quick release types. NFL salary cap is booming year to year. In 2 years, nobody bats an eye at that deal (barring catastrophic injury).
  23. I wanna b**g Sydney Sweeney.... but hear me out.... what if i b**ged Sydney Sweeney and Scarlett Johannson, AT. THE. SAME. TIME! BIG IF TRUE!!!
