  1. I didnt know much about him when we got him but I watched a ton of tape. Tasmanian devil today lol He looked like a suped up Lorax today. So pumped to see Hairston, Hoecht and not Rapp some more. That team wasn't a real test, but helluva start!!
  2. Baseball dedicates multiple people to a role doing exactly this. Not only to scout for other teams (pitchers) tells.... but to self scout for that kinda thing, damage control. I doubt nfl uses the same resources specifically for that, but yes somebody is or already has picked up on it. Good catch, if anyone remembers we should do a follow up week to week As long as we pass out of it at a decent clip, im ok with it... 20-25% is enough to keep them honest.... need a few PA in those. Also im sure Josh has multiple audibles if defense looks like theyre fully selling out
  3. Any early names floating around for DC jobs? Aaron Glenn could be interesting . Detroits d played well, did have some rough games when banged up under him. I very much like the 'hot coordinator-> failed HC --> Coordinator. Guy was good at the job your hiring him for, got some valuable experience as HC, go through struggles. Sad about HC, but then get a chance to go back to a more limited/focused role. Usually their first love. Huge morale bump there. Not in love with Glenn as much as that concept ^^^. Who else?
  4. There's a problem there. Needs fresh start. Might have to deal with some BS down the road, but thst team has so many needs and soooo many resources put into WR position there. Took BTJ last year, traded the GD farm for football Ohtani, Dynami Brown in off season added. They paidddd Gabe last year. Huge deal to Christian Kirk few years ago. Zay Jones that same off season too. Those guys are gone but the need to change up their roster construction. I think a player for player + nice draft pick would be a good get for that team too. Btj might be a headache down the road but really I dont care. Dumb way to handle the position... by nature these guys are selfish. Help him get his touches and feel what being on a winning team looks like. Promise him an extension after having a killer year here. Hell give a guy that Kawhi Leonard LLC deal for all i care 😭🤣😭🤣
  5. Im worried for sure. I used to like "thigh doctor" but hes become a bit of a troll and f****n annoying lately. Even before that I always took anything he said with a grain of salt, but id take it with 2 grains now. Hope hes wrong 😭😭😭
  6. Interesting background i found on Hoecht. I knew he was versatile as an "edge", but God dang I didnt know he played DT LOL Lorenzo Alexander part 2.... dude was 310 as a rookie..... Baffling how big he is, I dunno why i thought he was a bit more compact. Quote "Michael Hoecht's weight has varied, but he is currently listed around 267-297 pounds with the Buffalo Bills, having been listed at his rookie weight of 310 pounds when he entered the league. He has intentionally reduced his weight since entering the NFL to better suit his role as a versatile defensive player. Current weight: Listed at 267 lbs for the Buffalo Bills and 297 lbs in a recent Madden video game rating. Previous weight: Weighed 310 pounds when he entered the NFL. Weight reduction: He has actively worked to lower his weight from his rookie size to improve his performance, with his "sweet spot" identified as being between 268 and 278 pounds. "
  7. LOLLLLLLLLL beautifully painted in my mind, TY for that hahahahaha!!
  8. Last I saw he was in historically bad company on pressure rate or something similar. I forget exactly what.... but add that in to forceable R-word's, and a giant no thanks from me. Im willing to overlook more off field stuff than almost anyone else, but that and anything with kids is a no from me.
  9. Ahhhh thatd be why. I havent watched that type of ESPN Show since I got off the bus in High School. I don't hate ESPN as much as most, they have some good stuff, but the day time TV stuff is unwatchable. Im surprised I hadnt heard of him once until that Leonard story broke. I didnt see the episode he put out on Lombardi, but that Florio write up is a pretty doo-doo format to try and convey whatever the story is. Florio writes like a middle schooler lol
  10. Pablo Torre is an ABSOLUTE BEASTTTTTT. He came out of nowhere to me, and immediately wanted to hate him for all the sudden being all over everything. That Khawi research was bomb. I went back and watched one on the Terry Rozier thing yesterday after all that NBA news broke out, and my mind was blown at the info, and especially the details he was able to dig out. He's the real deal folks! With that said, I cant say I care much about this story, but def understand why it's news. A dude in his shoes, who acts a bit more humble, probably doesnt get found out LOL ---Specifically "Collusion-Gate" episode about the NFLPA and JC Tretter, and that story about collusion around Lamar & Deshaun Watson that came out. ... that episode is absolutely A++ , shocking dirt dug up there.
  11. Look at him on the slants hes caught. Hes got long speed in spades
  12. LOL how do i use the block function on this site .... being silly, but seriously... HOW? HOW DO I FIND THAT BUTTON?
  13. I actually dig the OP. Interesting point being made about how others perform in your absence, and a great way for ppl in management roles or pushing to obtain that type of role. With that said, I think the bolded is a very unfair way to evaluate a coach. If you're trying to evaluate/differentiate between a handful of guys jockeying for GOAT HC? That'd be a great evaluator. If you're trying to figure out if you have a "good" HC or not, this is a pretty horrible measuring stick. There's been a lot of elite HC's, but only a handful that have had a coaching tree, let alone a successful coaching tree. Belicheck is considered in the conversation for GOAT (less so now than 5 years ago). Even if you went back 5-8 years ago and used this as a measuring stick for him, it would've shown us what we know better today. The only asterisk I'd add there is he was such an arrogant s***head, that I think he intentionally gatekept his best trademark secrets, so that nobody could go on to become competitive against him elsewhere down the road. Basically, set them up for failure by omission. But again, thats an ugly selfish trait to have, and kinda reverts back to what we know better about him now.
  14. Im all for investing in a big durable corner, capable of starting, through the draft next year, anywhere outside 2nd rd. Even if Max looks like the truth this season. Benford always banged up. Hairston obviously is very sleight framed. We need to have an insurance policy against them.
  15. Arm bike machine for cardio? Thats my guess. Not a substitute, but a damn good option when you cant run
  16. 9 TD's is a real anomaly as every other season he had only 1 or 2. The rest of his stats look that way too. Doesnt mean im out on him. Wonder wtf was so different last year than every other year? Huge deviation... like astronomical. LOL was it only because he was fighting for contract, cause it wouldnt shock me and what a lazy bag of **** hahah
  17. Delusional on compensation. If the offer doesn't hurt, youre not in the same stratosphere and its a garbage intellectual experiment. 1st, 2nd, and a 3rd in '27. Now see how you feel? Im still in, but youre far off the sticker shock its take to land 26 yo Waddle from an in division team who just lost Hill permanently.
  18. Jon Brown + Josh was so lethal for the intermediate stuff. 20-25 yard chunk plays that got msde with the ease of a 5yd completion. Yes! The deep stuff is cherry on top. We'll need to hit a few to get the full respect... but its a guarantee to back defenders away from the line,as well As have to defend to the sidelines, not just between the hashes. The synergistic effect it would have is immeasurable and plays into the best talents we have on the team. -cooks life easier, and more productive in run game. -cook in space more on his receptions, always a threat for house call -Shakir could start seeing REALLLLL volume. We need a volume guy desperately. That was our "run game" aka chain mover in 2021. -Kincaid sees a much less crowded route tree
  19. A. The wgr worries are so overblown. Beane isn't thinking about it, and certainly isn't making decisions as a result of it. B. Intentionally putting this out there decreases our leverage in a trade. The worse position were in the more a team is going to want for their asset C. That means the injury is real and a real concern. Could naturally create extra urgency to go after a WR
  20. Laughing at the 2 guys who got caught, while overlooking the other 50% (incredibly conservative) that are putting banned substances in their body year round. Its incredibly naive to look back 10-20 years ago, compare those players to today, and think its nutrition "these guys know WHEN to feed themselves" LOL The demands have exponentially increased for players, theyre putting their body through stresses never seen before. They're just trying not to break down on the side of the road here
  21. Im not. Good news is McD seems to be a healthy upgrade when taking over defensive calls, in spot duty only. Give him reigns till end of season and then get him a REAL DC.
  22. Ogunjobi is supposed to be a bit of a run specialist isnt he? Thats a welcomed skill set, while not expecting Wilfork results. Hoecht is a guy Im actually excited about. For all my criticism of Coach lately, I am 100% confident that he will get the most out of him as a chess piece. A Lorenzo Alexander lite is what my impression is (dont think he played under McD though). Sounds suspicious. What was his injury he was rehabbing from last year? I'm leaning towards, No, but have not seen him at all. I guess its possible, he did fall of a cliff hard last year, and isnt THAT old. Mehhh. If he can help us and were talking a 6th and 7th rd swap, he could be depth... but again, only if theyre certain last year was health related
  23. On a scale of Vitamin B - Trenbolone Acetate, I'm expecting Deca. Good strength gains, gives some nice cushion the the DL, while not being a complete hardening transformation, I expect some serious results... with a bit of bloat (HOLY COW I PULLED THAT OFF LOL)
  24. Seriously though, if thats the route we wanted to go, I'd rather try to pay the cheaper price to rent Hendrickson. Riskier, but less requirement overall and leaves the team plenty of options/first dibs if it made sense to give a deal. Beastly pass rush is the one single piece that I think could give the most drastic returns on defense. That said, Im very much on WR Train as priority #1
