  1. Hes only missed 2 games according to draftsharks injury history report
  2. Meyers isn't a slot. I guess he can be, but isn't where hes been taking his snaps. There's a post in here too that shows his stats have been much better from the outside than previously in slot too
  3. Yeah this behavior would be too far to be an acceptable add to the team. The whole thing sounds like cocaine behavior. Im genuinely shocked he wasn't beaten (no pun intended) into a hospital bed. If this is exactly what CW was doing, I have a hard time imagining he wouldn't have been beaten into a coma. I could be wrong, if Haley wasn't in the 80's, I guess its possible Watson wasn't in 2025. Its unimaginable to picture any team having that kind of restraint. Pure speculation, but I cant even remotely imagine CW's was on par with Haley. Haley doing this in 2025 would lead almost certainly land him in jail or hospital (rightfully so). I dont think any team let alone Raiders could've swept this under the rug, at the same time all 53 on that roster have kept it from leaking. If its that bad, its a no from me, and id imagine the whole franchise... id be shocked if it was anything in the same ballpark.
  4. Agreed. I just cant see many players caring enough about it to turn their nose up at a chance to get over the hump. I get its not all rainbows and unicorns, but I have a hard time imagining the lockeroom here being so against it, they veto him signing a deal. I think **if**they believe it helps them, its a non issue. Maybe they think he doesn't move the needle for them, and thats a different story all together. But if he helps, I think lockeroom let's it go in pursuit of the real prize. Id imagine the team is salivating at what they were able to do to Mahomes Sunday... and they've all seen the TB/KC SB, as well as PHI/KC SB. that feeling had to hit like crackkkkkkk!!!
  5. People in here saying Josh would literally risk his life to win a Chip at one point, and it was /may be true. Obv hes a family man now, so maybe not, but thats hyperbole we don't have to worry about. But to me, if you asked Josh if he could get over the beef, because it could help get us over the hump. I think unquestionably Josh says yes, and is one of the first dudes from our team to reach out and welcome him in. Its kinda nuts to think anything differently!
  6. Chauncey Billups shoulda watched this! Can't be knowing the cards and going all in on an inside straight draw on the river!!!
  7. This was my first thought. As well as maybe he didn't pick up on a DAMN thing and now that kid and his coaching staff gets to frantically/ schizophrenically look for a tell that isn't happening 🤣😂🤣😂 this has happened in MLB. Ultimate psy-op
  8. You ever been around dudes from the Marine Corps lol and they carry literal guns I refuse to believe he crossed the line into full S.A./r-word because hes alive. Not kidding when I say I think a man doing that would be literally killed in a lockeroom... I dont care how much they've mellowed out over the years
  9. We don't even know what happened but ill be the first to say, from what we know, I don't think it's all that bad to be fretting over. Some grab ass? Sexual passes at players maybe? Nobody is going to be a classic victim here lol meaning 52 to 1 beat down if the situation called for it. Id be more worried hiring him for a Job at CVS, seriously. I dunno what were talking about in an NFL lockeroom, they can police themselves Especially in the league thats employed some of the most heinous scumbags known to man lol the only real concern is: 1. health and what kinda shape hes in & can be in... his mental space i.e. is he hallucinating voices? Is he hungry? Do we have to worry about him snapping and killing people? We dont really know what the deal is 2. Is he smart enough to learn a playbook quick 3. Whats a minimum deal look like for this situation 4. Is he on drugs? Like the real ones? There's 3months here, if dude cant stay outta trouble for 3mos, then hes dumber than even the Antonio Browns of the league. Seems highly unlikely. The type of deal here does not stop you from trading for a WR or other position that isn't on DL
  10. Hell, thank God they aren't even teammates
  11. Prater has been money and the ultimate calming presence for me this season. Heard hes got a calf injury, and it was 49yds, close as hell still. In a post like this, you g2 find a down and its a fair one, but he gets a pass from me for now. Rest up homie, come back better next week!
  12. Dang all this from a dude thats been hear a half season, and unable to play in all but 2 games. Speaks volumes about him and the type of team chemistry! Ball this up and shoot it in my veins (or buttocks)
  13. We should all be uncomfortable with this idea. Sure we'd all love it, id love to eat crow... but this is the equivalent of hoping for a healthy season of Milano. We cannot bank on the defense baling us out in any way in playoffs. This is saying "im sure Tiger Woods will respect our marriage and not cheat now". "Bobby Brown learned his lesson and surely wont hit his wife anymore" "Diggs won't tweet anything stupid" "Antonio Brown will stay on his meds and act normal" "Artie Lange is finally off drugs" "DMX will pay his child support" "Wesley Snipes will promptly pay his taxes" We can not BANK on the defense completing its responsibility. We need a backup plan, a tangible way to overcome that, should they do what they always do. Im encouraged by their progress the last two weeks. Sincerely! Had Hoecht not gone down, im confident even. Hairston and Bishop are breaths of fresh air while inside a sulfur fart factory! If they finally play like a playoff defense, thats obviously welcome. But im not hanging back and banking the best shot at winning in Josh's career, on that happening!! We shouldn't be either
  14. My bar is so low, that I simply want to be able to stretch the field sideline to sideline. Going into the most winnable SB in Josh's career, our offense is limited to 10yards and inside the hashes. Defenses have about 25% of the field to worry about. Not sustainable in playoffs, versus the Spagz and Fangio s, especially not 2 weeks in a row... or 3-4 weeks.... when refs swallow their flags. PLEASE, GOD, IM ASKING FOR JUST A "COMPETENT" OUTSIDE WR BEFORE DEADLINE. WHY IS THIS IMPOSSIBLE?!?
  15. When can we expect that? Have we had a game where our guys lined up out wide have produced? Taking out a wild Ravens game, Keons best game is 45yards 3 catches. Doing same with Palmer is 60 yds in Falcons game. Other than Baltimore, he hasn't had more than 2 receptions in any game. In 7 games we have had our two outside guys combine for 30 catches (Palmer 9, keon 21). You can project it out to 34 had Palmer been healthy the last two. Even if you think Kinc opens things up for our boundry guys (they certaibly havent shown capable), what are we supposed to if Kincaid is banged up in a playoff game? Don't get me wrong, I've been banging the Kincaid drum since we drafted him.... but hes been hampered a ton in his 3 years here. We have SB aspirations. Josh Allen at QB... and all it takes is 1 "banged up", not even "out", injury away from relying on Keon Coleman to help us win a SB. You're fine with that? Lol
  16. We need to find a way to work him in. Cook getting banged up, not even knocked out, could sink this team. We g2 find a way to get Davis going, as Ty Johnson is mostly a pass catcher. If we believe that's impossible, im looking for a competent RB at deadline. Were a run first team, with one RB. We're in deep s***, if Cook gets banged up, let alone misses a game. Id prefer we get Davis touches. Can't just be garbage time when everyone knows its a run. He needs real reps and ill die on this hill.
  17. We need competent outside play. Defenses get to narrow the field, as well as crowd the line. When things are going well its fine. If were going to win 3-4 playoff games against playoff defenses. We can not afford to roll out these current guys. When things are rolling like yesterday its great, but you can not let a playoff defense take away 50% of the playing surface. Crowd the line... double Kincaid... commit most resources between hashes, and we become pedestrian quickly. Even if the Olave , Shaheed, Addisons of the world aren't available, we need to bring in a guy thats competent on the outside.
  18. Its baffling to me that we cant spell our best players names right 3 years in lol We g2 treat practices like games. Let's be better!
  19. Make a condition where they cant suit up. Done. Next?
  20. Yep we need to have the ability, should we need it, to play from behind. Also jumping out to a lead like 10-0, 14-3, would be great to have in the bag. Take the run game away from teams. Let all these pass rush specialists be able to pin their ears back for more downs. Id be worried playing catch up with these WRs... but in a pinch Cook getting involved would be helpful AF
  21. Easier to have time to do that when youre not beat by 4 steps!
  22. Less interest in Ridley, for this year especially... but if they'd play ball on a deal like this im interested in adding him to the mix. Maybe he gets healthy, but if not hes worth something next year. Exactly "what" that is... I dunno. Hard to get a read with that team around him
  23. I think hes being black listed by NFL. Certainly not openly, and maybe no words even need to be said about him specifically... but one of those things where teams know nfl is waiting to slap him with a suspension if signed... or Goodell willing to find ways to make teams lives inconvenient for stepping out. Feels a little bit like we've seen this before... although feels a little murky exactly who it was. Antonio Brown? Araiza? I feel like im missing a more obvious one. I think nfl & nflpa want that guaranteed money wrinkle he has with Oakland figured out before anyone pokes around
  24. Yeah its a no brainer to sign a 2yr extension at minimum, maybe 1 if his agent wont do 2.
  25. Hes not the guy I want, but I think a lot of this board is way underestimating Jakobi. Not as sexy or splashy as my heart lusts for, but we are instantly a better team with him. Hes nice to plug in while Palmer is out. And even nicer to play across from Palmer when hes back. Were severely missing competent WR play on the outside and he brings that. Josh elevates what hes done in his career imo too
