Ravens lose Ar'Darius Washington for the season.

WARNING! bRo ScIeNcE AHEAD: Me thinks its PED's! Scenario #1 Tendon connect muscle to the bone ---> Tendons are stronger than muscles (but less flexible than muscle) Normal person, doing normal activities is more likely to tear their muscle, bc its the weakest link between muscle, tendon, and bone. ***An imperfect analogy I think of it as sort of like a car's transmission but between muscle/bone*** Scenario #2 Giant man, does crazy unnormal activity (ask Whaley) like run a 4.5 at 295lbs, and smash into others. When muscle gets stronger than tendon (YAY 'chemistry' !) ---> Tendon is now the weakest link between: muscles, tendons, and bones --> Tendon tears 1st It seems like were seeing a chit' ton of these as of late. We can blame it on football/sports. We werent really designed to do this, and a good portion of these injuries are regular sports injuries. You start to see a trend where all the sudden, athletes in every sport are dropping like flies. In last 2 years we have 13 Achilles tears in NFL, to only 7 PED suspensions. Thats without getting into any other tendon tears.... this gon keep happening as guys continue to push themselves past human capabilities, part of the deal NFL PED Suspensions: 2024 - total of 5 players popped 2023 - two 2022 - one 2021 - one (yipeeeeee look how clean the league is hahahaha) ACHILLES TEARS: 2024 - 7 tears 2023 - 6 tears 2022- None 2021 - 1 2020 - 1 -

When it comes to Bengals Owner vs Anybody.... Its an automatic to side with the anybody. Easily top 5 worst owners, not to mention he's too broke to be an NFL owner in 2025. -

Do they ever post cryptically to Twitter? -
When will the SEC step in to address blatant market manipulations from hedge funds stealing untold billions from investors? Maybe before a bailout bankrupts the entire country again? How about blatant insider trading from politicians that regulate a specific industry, and turn around and profit from those same industry/companies? "Employees" who steal from their employers do. Executives whose companies steal from any/every one DO NOT. Company will pay a $1m fine for the crimes that brought in $1B profit... nobody goes to jail.

Cod was the best return man I can remember since McGhee? Seems like it. Thought he was a top 5-10 returner in league last year. Is Shenault in that realm, cause I cant picture it. Hed have to blow the doors off Cod in TC to win that job id imagine, cause if its close you bring back the familiar guy who played well. Am I missing on something? -
Heres what I'll say. I moved to NC in 2020 and had the ticket for 2 years because having a reliable Bills game experience was a non-negotiable. Year 1 went OK.... Year 2 AWFULLLLLL. In a pinch during those several games that were jacked up on Sunday ticket, I used a stream service on Firestick..... my Firestick guy was infinitely more reliable than SundayTicket which I paid ~$500 for. I kept my eye on the Firestick and it outperformed Sunday Ticket all year. Tried it through Sabres season, no issues. Every PPV fight, boom! I pay about $30/mth, and have the equivalent of Sunday Ticket for all sports, including every UFC/Boxing. If you have the means of trying a Firestick guy, you WILL NOT REGRET IT! And I regretted the quality of the muchhhhhhh more expensive package in Sunday Ticket

He was addition by subtraction, as a "#2".... I pillaged dude here for years. HOWEVER, if his market is as expected (not hot), i would be open to him coming back as a personnel/situational chess piece. His hands absolutely suck, but hes a deep ball trick pony (At least was before his injury this year, what was it again?). That could've been helpful as a depth and situational type player. Games where he doesnt see the field, and games where he sees a decent amount of snaps on the outside. Poo-poo me all you want, but he couldve been a helpful piece last season in AFCCG vs Chiefs, even as a decoy/field opener

Bro, I dont think the Steelers FO is this dumb. We saw this EXACT scenario play out with Jets. Complete team minus the QB (admittedly tough spot to plug). Jets went full "I'll give $10 tmrw for $1 today". They had a young group of killers. Not only did Rodgers help them implode on the field, they detonated what should've been an extended window of contending. Now all those rookies from their huge draft are coming up on needing contracts, they'll lose half them, and they didnt even walk away with a WildCard to show for it. Im not trading an extended 4-5 year window, for 1 serious run (even if it was guaranteed by a Genie) PERIOD. But im especially not making that trade to acquire a guy with a mangled body & mind, thats going to result in 9 & 8 season and an IR trip anyways. I guess they are competition so i should be rooting for it to happen, but damn thatd be a serious implication on Steelers FO being completely out of touch. Its basically: Raw dog and fall in love with a diseased stripper, for one night vs Love your wife I can understand one seeming excited, but man, this is an easy proposition to say no to

This dude staying there another year with bad QB's but now sliding down the depth chart? NFW that works. He's 1,000% unextendable, and probably the most toxic locker room guy thats active in the NFL right now! Good deal for both teams, and the player. Cowboys get a 1 year preview to see if he can be contented with winning and a real QB. They g2 hope the locker room stuff was just a bad fit (doubtful). Most likely scenario IMO is he keeps it together in a contract year, on a competitive team, and he helps them push hard this season. Then he walks. But maybe he clicks with the guys there and matures. Pick def needed a locker room change, heres his only chance to show hes worth being paid. Keeping it together for 12mos should not be that difficult for a $50m talent... if he cant do it this year, he goes full Dionte. Waiver wire fodder, and a quick NFL exit

TJ Watt Speculation after Pickens trade (Nothing Official)
BillsShredder83 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
at this point, i think itd be kinda smart to go mini rebuild. keep your core young guys, trade off an older expensive player (but a beast) for a large haul... next year you are all set for a QB to come in and be a true competitor team. you can bottom out a bit this year with their QB situation, kinda like a backwards Burrow & landing Jamar Chase! it sucks to throw away a season, but they did it and not much they can do to fix QB situation. Jets were kinda in a spot similar to this when they got Rodgers. Had they stood pat, kept their picks, that team felt stacked.... but they blew their wad on Rodgers, completely jacked up their own window.... AND FOR WHAAAAAT? Would be definition insanity for Steelers to have seen that, and literally try same thing with the same QB but 2 years older + injured + mentally checked out (?) Build draft capital + "Finally accept a losing season" So much this. It shouldnt be more clear anywhere than on a Bills board, we saw the 15year drought of 7-9. Bottoming out can be a real blessing if it means opening an extended window, and theyd be serious competitors IMO -

anybody thumbs downing this is either: dumb, Steelers fan, or doing it because that trade is lopsided AF lol I have my doubts we'd be the team to be able to pull this off, but hell yeah id be interested. have a litter of draft picks for him pitt can pick from. our UFA's for next year are in good shape, but obviously figuring out cap would be mot prohibitive for us. i give it a .5% chance lol -
Yeah, especially given how early his grumbling started. Hes going to be disgruntled for a 12month year (that were aware of) AND he has an unrealistic salary expectation. Im 90/10 Cook is done here after this season. Especially if RayDay stays on his current trend, especially especially if he moves above that trend, which wouldnt shock me. This OL is nasty. Hopefully it always will be with "Beach Chairs". Kromer should be first in line with an extension IMO
-
Yeah this.... if youre a casual lol casual NFL fans dont know the draft, and casual NFL fans dont usually watch college. Try telling that to the people in the south who KNOW that college is king
-
I agree and get it, but at that point: draft a different one or grab some extra UDFA. I can't see this going well. Seems like Sanders was pretty convinced he'd go by #3 at Giants at worst.... then got passed on by Cleveland, what like 5 - 7 more times when you account for the extra picks they got. You think that's gonna be forgiven and forgotten just because they eventually took you? I sincerely thought his best case scenario was getting picked up by a non qb needy team. A team that said hey we weren't big in QB market but by the 5th round we had to take a guy like this. Atleast then hes coming in with a clean slate on a team. Dude hasn't even hit his 1st TC rep yet and proli resents the team already

Hell making a D1 roster, and especially starting on a D1 roster is seriously impressive. I'd imagine the average human who doesn't work in sports knows 0 people who've ever done that

We were an extra 1-2 1st downs away from putting that game away. Having absolutely no pressure generated from our outside WRs took away a huge segment of the offense. It narrows the field you have to guard completely, but also the depth of the field. I think having some respectable outside threats or speed completely finishes opening up the offense. Amazing what we were able to do without real X & Z guys. The square footage a defense has to truly respect will double if we stay healthy and/or get some better play outside.... and when you do that to a defense it's gunna pop the top for guys like Shakir/Kincaid. -

My fav kinda reclamation project at this point. All the talent in the world, sent to an abysmal staff [is anybody questioning this being top-5 worst staffs of the decade?], with abysmal QB play..... then goes to Clev and improves, but deals with much of the same. Now hes getting his first real NFL lockerroom & QB, hes 25 and has a chance to prove he wasnt a malcontent, and get paid. Josh Allen. Wide open Depth Chart at WR. If he cant do it here, theres not a place he will. Plus his malcontent quote (not saying you believe its that) isnt even bad. Every WR wants the ball.... getting 0 targets and "low targets" are quite a distance between each other. I dont want any WR that isnt PO'd about getting 0 targets. Quote isnt that bad, and I dont trust that staff enough to accept they were in the right here. Sounded then and now, like he got railroaded by an arrogant HC & OC, which fits the bill -

I was a huge Moore fan coming out of the darft, and stoked to have him, but he is not a vertical threat guy. Hes a YAC on short routes guy. -
We've got a decent amount of bodies going into camp. Heres the depth chart projections as of now: There will be serious competition for every WR Spot that isnt Shakir's. Like any FA/draft addition, starting spots won't be given to new comers. Keon, Palmer, Samuel, somewhat Moore, Shenault, Virgil, Shavers, Hamler, Prather will all be competing for the 2 outside WR jobs. Obviously there are some favorites to win those starting spots; but I expect it to be a real dog fight. Quite a few guys at the bottom of WR roster that were considered projects, who have been PS long enough they need to make a real push for the 53 man, or they might not get invited back to PS even. I expect those guys to get a legitimate shot to win a starting job. What they do with the opportunity will depend on them, and their development over the last few years. There are essentially 9 dudes competing for 2 spots: Keon and Palmer are the favorites to win, and I hope they ball out, and give Coach no choice but to start them! But Im especially hoping Moore, Samuel, Virgil, Shavers and Hamler help push them. Whoever ends up the #3 outside guy, will see tons of playing time too!
