  1. yep this feels like a plant story by agent the more i think about it. as far as i know, nflpa cant state what it was for. so player could say 'oh i had a Rx for ADD meds, and i didnt know i had to let league know'... meanwhile NFL seethes behind the scenes knowing damn well a player popped for testosterone or something like that
  2. wording makes it sound adderall, but also think this could be his agent requesting news outlets to put it out this way. i know publically stating the substance doesnt happen with NFLPA, but do interested teams get to see what a suspension is for?
  3. White policies force offenders to commit astronomical levels of violent crimes on their fellow man? Cmon, how long has this been going on. Sins of past is not an excuse to endlessly continue this cycle. It has to stop, and it cant happen without accountability. The only person that couldve stopped this was the kids who did it. 16 year olds? So born in 2008, these are hardly jim crow kids. It starts with parenting, #1 being present. When pre-teens only model of a father is a neighborhood teenage gang banger, this is going to happen. Its been happening, its never going to stop happening. #1 be present, be accountable #2 stop handing down the mind virus that is telling innocent kids, that other innocent kids that look different, hate them, always will, and will stop at nothing to hold them back. Self fulfilling prophecy planted in their minds before theyve had a chance to even begin to develop Theres no context to mindless violent crime.
  4. I get what youre saying but before the injury he was not a $5M back. after seeing Tre/Von, but a player at the most unforgiving position, i just cant see any way he survives camp. would take a major cap reduction, and a kiss from God himself on that ACL.
  5. You're thinking like a rational human. You dont get to the top of a career like this with a personality that can just decide to hit the "off-switch". Does Warren Buffett still need to make more money? LOL. these dudes are singular driven cyborgs. the dudes who arent that get filtered out mentality wise at the college/early NFL levels. 8 billion people, and hes better than anyone else in the world, and you think a guy who can just shut it down has a chance to be where he is. nooooooo chanceeeeeeeee
  6. QB protecting rules. Also, like OP mentioned the mental aspect. Makes me think of the, anmd im paraphrasing, but the 3 or 4minute mile seemed untouchable for a long time. Someone did it, and it opened the flood gates. Also, better living through science. HGH is great for the sport despite what the dorks think. HGH isnt even a compound that makes you big or a freak, its hugely popular in Hollywood for anti-aging..... ya know that older chick J-Lo, Jennifer Love Hewitt etc etc, that has been hot and looks the same into her 50's? Yep, thats a component. Great for joints and ligaments strength and flexibility. As we age they tend to get more stiff and less flexible. GH in the body decreases as we age. Remember when you could sleep in, but now you wake up at 5-6am no matter what time you went to bed or how tired you are... low GH GH isnt going to make the man, but it amplifies the s*** out of what these guys are already doing to take care of their bodies. Then recovery peptides like BPC157 and TB500 for nagging/serious injuries. I know people hate the idea of this stuff in the sport, but its rampant and these things make the sport better. These arent magic double your season output type compounds, these are keep your teams healthier/able to grind through 17games, with some luck, without missing significant time type compounds. I fully understand (although respectfully disagree) most fans not wanting guys running 25 week tren/d-bol/test cycles all over the field. I'll shout it from the mountain tops, GH is not that, fans need to accept that and move forward thankful for it. In 20years were going to laugh this was ever a controversy. There was likely a time everyone thought creatine, whey, hyperbaric (bolic? i forget) chambers were cheating LOL.... we mind as well just go back to smoking cigs on the sidelines again HAHAHAHAHAHA Also, before someone shouts Lyle Alzado: #1 guy was taking the substances im not referencing #2 poor guys claims were emotion driven, understandably, but just not based in facts. correlation is not causation, or we'd see this NON-STOP in sports. we dont PS, Brady being to first to do it, in the same time frame as these compounds isnt a coincidence. You'd have to believe WWF was real to think that. As much as he terrorized us, he is a marquee example of why the NFL is turning a blind eye, and hopefully the lesser known players/positions are following suit. Why would we not want the best athletes to stick around? Do we prefer the Gale Sanders, Bo Jackson, Sterling Sharpe, Terrell Davis, Tony Bosseli, type player timelines?
  7. Better here than the "post office" im assuming he works at lol
  8. Almost like there has maybe been some inflation the last 4 years since the pandemic?
  9. Bass was money when he'd got that extension. Butker won't have same contract very long. Silly to criticize beane here. Aim it at Bass/STs coacj more than anywhere else.
  10. hes coming off brutal injury at a position that ages like milk.... KR is basically a non-existent position starting this year (had already been trending that way). im not even saying retain harty at all cost, but i am saying i want nothing to do with hines and his contract, and am open to bradys input on deonte in HIS offense, as we saw what dorsey did to our entire offense. dude rubber band castrated josh allen and j-cook, took all of 1 week to change what we saw months of
  11. Would just like to clarify for my own sanity, they were Brady*** jerseys. Seemingly the same thing except Josh is a QB born in '96. Very forgivable, and i might be concerned about a QB his age growing up NOT idolizing the man. He has atoned for these sins, VIVA LA JOSH!!
  12. harty was easy whipping bou this year, but flat out give me him over freakin Hines all day..... especially if they get input from Brady that he thinks he can scheme him. dude was completely invisible with Dorksey, we saw a pulse from him after the change. not saying hes guaranteed dynamic, but would give him 2nd chance if brady gives approval nod
  13. I dont disagree, but time has proven in almost all cases you want this in your QB. obv there are exceptions, hey we got lucky with a labrador/dragon hybrid QB, even if hed wound up in MIA somehow i think Josh would still be one of my fav players..... but hes an exception certainly not the rule. i like Josh's leadership style, but think he could benefit from putting some a-hole in his game too. we obv dont see him in the lockerroom, and its very possible he gets on guys in there. i think the 100% positive leadership only leaves some results on the table. 80/20 split of upbeat vs a-hole ratio is the sweetspot. nobody likes 100% a-hole, and eventually they gut tuned out. 100% nice guy can lead, but theres no fear of that personality type. now take for example a close-close friend. not the one that always tells you what you want to hear, but the type of friend who will call you out when you're wrong.... they're your best friend and always upbeat and pulling for you, but when you are doing something to mess up your life, will pull you aside and say WTF ARE YOU DOING?!?! the 80% is why you love spending time with them, and who you know them as. so when they get on your ass, it really stands out, you know they must be right, and youre going to do what you need to do to get them back to your fav labrador mode. i dont want this being spun as "josh isnt a good leader", just with the minimal access we have to them, im hypothesizing he can still pull that extra 5-10% outta his guys beyond what him and coaches are now
  14. TBH that last season in CLE his body was banged TF upppppppp. i thoiught they did him a dirty. one of my things i wonder is, he plays exceptionally well with the chip on his shoulder..... if he gets a 30m/yr x X-years contract, is that chip going to fall off, or will he keep grinding and putting in the work he did this year. i think he will, but its also a fair question IMO
  15. Niagara Wheatfield was a beast program in early to mid 2000s. Guessing it still is, but not sure. It's the sport that rewards hard work more than others, talent Def involved but it's a diff playing field than other sports IMO Cool how a hard working room can pass down through generations, obviously coaching matters, but it was always the juniors seniors picking up and really carrying the torch, and passing it down. Feels like a 20-30year+ old flame at the best places
  16. this rules so hard, TY! surprised to see mckonkey @ 75% wide! is it common in college for guys to play outside, then get bumped inside in NFL? this sheet is seriously impressive!!!
  17. Is there a good resource to find what % of snaps a WR took on outside vs slot? Im specifically looking at McConkey, but would love to have a place to find this more easily in general.... fwiw mck sounds like a slot guy, but just curious
  18. which draft video? id like a good round 1 summary with some depth by smart commentators if you have one
  19. makes a ton of sense there. players coach and a former player in place at HC. history of guys slacking off, doing their own thing. good cop/bad cop scenario, and a place for him to prove his OC skills.
  20. wish legette would catch with his hands more... the last video he does and its pretty, but the 2 before he catches it with his gut, even the one he jumps to catch..... team is going to have to scrub that from his game. would be a little worried it leads to early drops for him
  21. Sound up! My God this is my fav offseason week on Twitter. If you don't make sure you follow senior bowl and Jim nagey accts at bare minimum this week
  22. Id like to collect my $1 Josh and the Bills were so enamored with each other, that Josh dogged his 40 time, but most assuredly Buffalo was the team that dropped the draft day "15yr old Josh Tweets"
  23. Guess ill have to patiently wait for Mahomes to get caught cheating on Brittany with an SS Prison Guard.... thennnnnnnn can we get a SB appearance????
