Its OK for the Bills to be a run-first team
BillsShredder83 replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah youre talking about the general public with no vested interest in the team. Anybody posting on an obscure message board about this team wouldn't hate a 'boring' SB win lol Your take is appropriate on a BillsMafia FB group lol -

Sure. Anyone would. You think DC's will just let this happen lol Happen 4xs in a row. Each week seeing new wrinkles, from progressively better talent & coaching? Each with the ability to steal working ideas from the last teams effort? All while we have no ability to execute 50% of the playbook? With an OC that has no ability or history of adding to the playbook? Their ceiling is 2nd rd exit. Floor is as bad as ones imagination. -

There's some of that, which is good. There's a larger serving of "have to play this way". One dimensional is never good. We literally dont have the ability to throw to outside WRs. Thats never good. Its better to have something that can work in a game, or a script... trying to win 4 games with one tool in the bag and no others, is not ideal... also astronomical odds of being able to do it 4xs in the playoffs lol It is what it is. We dont have the personnel to fix it. We have no way of getting it either. Even a 70/30 split like this would be awesome. We dont have that. -
FA's over 30: You may only pick 2

Thompson. Bosa scares me. I don't want everyone else gone, only bc too much turnover to replace them all... but half should go this off season. Other half by end of next. -
Let’s talk about this Drake “marvelous “ Maye 😅
BillsShredder83 replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
In actually for it. Steel sharpens steel. Division been too soft and easy. I said the same in hoping Rodgers would help Jets become competent. Didn't, but here's a chance I guess. -
Someone who believes this story believes those balls were accidentally deflated... believes the Rams walk through recording was a guy test running a camera with no film. Believes Brady was headed to turn the phone in but then a steam roller barrelled at him from the bushes at 80mph and Brady lost his grip, and it was accidentally crushed!!! Bummer man, he was like so close to headquarters to turn it in. Believes Bellichek never met this chick until her 18th bday exactly, and is totally in it for love ❤️ Missing anything? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙄

Id rather be a loser than a sucker. This story is incredibly carefully constructed. The video certainly is. No genuine concern. The whole things lame. If itd been done that night without the theatrics, it woulda been believable. Simple video "hey I had something real important taken, could've been an accident, im not sure. The important thing is this is worthless to them and irreplaceable to me. I sit in section 3××, half way up. If you have it and see this, please mail anonymously to Steelers mail room at ×××, pitt, pa.You might not even realize but id be heartbroken. If you leave a simple note picking a charity, ill gladly donate $20 to them and ill invite everyone else to do the same." Coulda been a feeling good story for all involved. Allowed someone to save face. Given them an easy out, to 'an accident' etc. BEEN INFINITELY MORE LIKELY TO BE RETURNED. But the story isn't true... no towel to return. No gofundme by a "stranger" to get her Superbowl tix + travel... no chance the Rooneys depart upon the commoners to give her some priceless framed memorabilia.... no influx of 1m followers to capitalize on with some snake oil tea, or purchases of a steelers bikini themed onlyfans lol There was no towel. Nobody maliciously stole a fictitious towel, that had a sewed on tag saying "Deceased Grannys Irreplaceable Heirloom" "Its easier to fool someone, than it is to convince someone they've been fooled" rings heavy here...
-
Could be calculated play to get super bowl tickets too. Is it fabricated? I dunno. My theory has the same probability of being true as her story being true.... but its a lot easier to see the motivation behind this chick doing that, than it is sone deranged fan hearing heirloom and sneakily stealing it for *unclear motivations/unprovoked* LOL This bs happens all the time, teams have caved to it and now theyre an easy mark. I cant wait till someone gets caught for something like this, and after they ruin a rich guys business with bad review bombs, the liar gets taken to cleaners for every cent they have for libel. If this story came from a Bills fan with these optics, id hope the team stays away. Absolute B*S to reward this. Its rewarded at a crazy high clip rate too 🙄
-
Ill play devils advocate here without knowing anything about it... since weve seen it plenty: Story is 95% fabricated. The girl was hammered, the towel has no special meaning to her, she repeatedly shook it directly in someone's face all game, intentionally, ignoring requests to stop. Someone "snapped" took it away. The girl is grifting and we'll see a gofundme or only fans drop on the heels of Public attention within few days. ***I dunno. My point is more BS can happen either way. Be cautious around any overly one sided sounding story.... same goes if came from one of us in Buffalo

While this isnt exactly thr balance were looking for this is amazing to be able to do. Side note Hawes has been a monster and getting even better. Fun short clip, this Film Watchers kid rulesssss https://x.com/Filmwatchers1/status/1995626648381886633?t=_BT8KZd1AjkavBLWrMR4ig&s=19

There are certainly valid posters in here to be asking this question. Personally this year was my tipping point. Josh almost 30. Need to get the right guys in and have time to implement their plans while Josh s window is firmly open. Im scared: waiting 2 years to change, and then year 2 of new staff when things would be most likely to start really cooking... youre running out of room for error. It'd be ideal to be able to stay put, but im not willing to continue experiment Personally. Id be pretty dammed excited to stay the course IFFFF we added 2 bonafide already-established coordinators too. Unfortunately i view that as being less likely to happen than I do, ripping it down to the studs, starting it over and getting it right. At least in terms of likeliness to happen. Were yet to see McD pick 1 top coordinator, hitting 2 sounds brutally unlikely. Yet my most preferred if possible

I agree and have come around completely to it this year. We all know it won't happen though. If were hell bent on not changing, WTF is stopping us from going out and hiring the best G-D OC & DC possible. Stop being cheap. We can pay backups a few million... but shelling out a few mill a year for top coordinators seems like an incredibly cost efficient, highly predictable output chances.

Idiocy to suggest this at this point based on play. Nowwwww if you wanted to make an argument on age + inflating contract numbers, maybe coupled with a bonafide tackle prospect dropping to us, where we shouldn't have been able to get him. Maybe he could have decent trade value in a scenario like that? Emotionally, id hate it... but its a business, and the right conditions could make the scenario attractive. However, hes been outstanding for a long time. Bad game vs Texans.... but hes likely banged up. I think there was a play that I saw a replay of where a concussion was reasonably suspicious... coulda been just a regular ol bad game. One bad game and some false starts, with hazy circumstances around it... no, I think this is an insane jump to throw this out there. We shall see

Max Hairston-- Did he play yesterday?
BillsShredder83 replied to Casey D's topic in The Stadium Wall
Eyeball test, agreed Milano absolutely had extra pep to his step yesterday. I dunno if hes been banged up as of late, as i have not even wanted to look into injuries... Hopefully that's it. I also worry the Steelers just arent very good, and also had a bad night. Ill leave it to someone smarter than me to look all-22. My likelihood guess is a mixed bag of some guys finally getting healthier as well as a bad night from Pittsburgh -
Hes a beast 100%. But im taking Gibbs every time straight up. Realistically though theyre neck and neck. Enough so that I wouldn't trade one for the other straight up... the upside is limited and the potential downside just based on system fit, way outweigh that upside.

Man ill say this.... once the game is outta hand he needs to kiss n makeup/make friends with him. Pitts pretty dirty but Heyward is a stand up dude... do thst to the wrong OL, in a game where flag dont matter and you can get a dive at the knees Or it can come down the road in another year from a dude carrying a grudge you dont even remember having beef with. Refs also let this game get outta hand today. I dont hate the no-flag on Josh slide even though i did before replay. There was something else before that though, cant remember which way, that shoulda drawn flag.... finally they threw on Epenesa s was a weird place to draw a line in the sand but I dont blame refs. LASTLY, ANYNODY ELSE THINK A LOT OF THAT BSTHATLDNT HAVE HAPPENED WITH SPENCER BROWN PLAYING TODAY. THERE WAS ONE SCRUM WHERE I THOUGHT HE WOULDA BEEN TWISTING HEADS OFF AND SWINGING IT AROUND, STILL IN THE HELMET, TO PROTECT JOSH!!

So What Was the Deal on the Penalty After the Pitt TD?
BillsShredder83 replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lol agreed. Refs did him dirty lol Should've called it unsportsmanlike conduct. Refs call it wrong thing and dudes catching hell from his own fanbase because of it lol -
Thought same thing last night. Dude is a monster after the catch. He pulled through a gap between two safeties or possible a S & CB and the acceleration was like he was on a dirtbike. Lil biased cause hes from Charlotte and first 2 season at NC State. He was most dangerous freshman year. Was a real dual threat that year... need to dig into the tape to figure out why he took a step back (yet still super impressive) after that year. Could be transferring to A&M there were a lot more weapons to compete for touches. Couple excerpts from NFLDraft Buzz: "Shows remarkable football IQ by finding soft spots against zone coverage - consistently sits down in windows and presents a favorable target for his quarterback" "Elevates his play in big moments - repeatedly showed up in critical situations against Clemson and Virginia during his breakout freshman campaign." I also dig Chris Bell from Louisville... I will be honest though, these guys are currently rated late 1st- early 2nd. If we get super aggressive and go after a true #1... these are guys that I'd want to compete for #2. Not guys id solely rely on to fix that part of our game I don't believe he can. Thats what id thought id heard

Will the Bills Win another game on the Road this season?
BillsShredder83 replied to DeepPass's topic in The Stadium Wall
Best case scenario for medium and long term... imo. Thats not a shock take, I truly believe that right now. 1. We can NOT run it back another year of this staff. Josh is 30. Break out the Brinks truck and hire a staff to bring fresh look. 2. Genuinely worried about Josh suffering and injury from coverage sacks 3. We need the talent injection. Were old, hurt, expensive and under achieving. I hate it as much as all you, but this team has no magic. If we let the demolition just happen we can retool, fix much of that, and be primed for a wild card run in '27... serious window opens widely 2028. Be willing to go all in that year or earlier if logical. Were far away right now, but there are some quick fixes. G2 rebuild it right and make sure Josh gets one. Giving him "the Marino asterisk" would f**** piss me off to no ends. For him and us -
Should the league change how it schedules games?
BillsShredder83 replied to McMuffin's topic in The Stadium Wall
I understand the gripe about the WC, but its the least of all the issues for me. At least its a wild card game ill wanna watch. Especially on a Saturday when college is done, and I dont have to work the next day. $10? The more ridiculous part to me is missing having everything available in one spot. Nfl Sunday ticket should absolutely have access to every game. What an F-U to those fans paying $500 lol Anyways, I dont care if they change to putting different halfs on different platforms lol im still watching, and I ain't paying. -
Yeah im all aboard wr train. Id ignore some ugly off the field s*** to not have to watch this offense as is... but i still think paying him is a huge mistake for whoever does it. 2nd season and he was acting like AB did in his 2nd to last LOL there wasn't even a money issue yet. Wait till this dude gets paid and can afford to step on the gas with a certain white powder that breaks every elite athlete. If he doesn't have cocaine behavior, I've never met anyone that had it
