Were there notable stats showing progress with Cook's hands? I'll be honest, my knee jerk reaction is 'he drops a decent amount of very catchable balls', but I wouldnt be shocked if I didn't notice/forgot over past several months. I cant specifically recall any brutal drops EDIT: nope. Im not a hater, and ill 100% give him credit for doing a ton of work rushing the ball, I think he had his best season by far (TD's skyrocketed) .... but last years receiving stats are bunk! After seeing this I especially cant justify paying him Saquan/McCaff type money. Just no way! In fact this is an incredibly mediocre pass catching season for any starting RB, let alone a premier back.

Ross Tucker interview of Michael Hoecht

You really dodged a bullet there LOL Doctors also used to manually stimulate women for "hysteria" treatment. Maybe science evolves It's either this, or athletes stopped looking for an edge..... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. The same pool of guys who crash drunk driving and beat up their wives, must have some unique moral code where they draw a hard line at PED's -

When he said supplements, he meant TRT lol there are no supplements that work. If you have the health insurance to jump on TRT, the guy isnt wrong!! Living below your potential quality of life, because grampa used to say "rOgEr MaRis WaS tHe oNlY ReAl bAlL pLaYeR" is silly. No matter where you land on PED's in sports, theres nothing wrong AT ALL with better living through science under a doctors care. If you're done having kids, and your test is in the gutter, and you're not playing pro-ball; by all means feel free to take advantage of the medical advancements that we have -

Cmon bro dont be naive. these guys all always blame it on some 'tainted' supplement. if this was true you'd see these companies going belly up OR ATLEAST shelling out settlements. Literally not one time have we seen that that I can remember. You're living in fairy tale land if you believe that guys whose lifelong dream is to be in the NFL, will give that up because theyre 40 time is .05 slower than the rest of the class. Or if you think in an industry where we regularly see 8-9 digit contracts handed out, that nobody will take a single risk to help their career, legacy, or lifetime financial stability (for them and their kids) out. How many PED tests do we see people pop yearly in the NFL? 3? 5? LOL. How about college? Any? So the entire sport of football is clean from high school to the pros? Survey's conducted in the USA found over 8% of men ages 18-25 reported using anabolic steroids (not even including SARM's or Research Chemicals)... but out of all players on NFL 53 man rosters (1,696 total), 3-5 a year use PED's. Hell 10 players popping (weve never seen that) would still only be .5% These players have 6figure - 9figure incomes, and have the easiest access of all. Meanwhile any 14yr old with $100 can get anabolics delivered to their doorstep from the internet in 3-5 days. LOL! It's way crazier to suggest what you're suggesting, than to say the NFL is full of geared-up meatheads.... and the game is better for it. Want to see a clean game won 9 - 7 ? Go to a peewee game, but like it or not, anabolics are prevalent in HS all the way up to pro and semi-pro -
Have our draft picks signed their contracts?

Not worth stressing at this point since the media has been silent about it... once the media starts to howl, it'll still take a while to be concerned; as their job is to get ppl riled up and angry. create a story outta nowhere. if there isnt even a media frenzy around it, I can reassure you there really is NO STORY to be had lol -
Jamal Adams is all this. Its not 1990. As cool as all that stuff is/would be as an icing on the cake.... nobody wants a plate of icing with no cake (Adams). I dont care if he wears a pink tootoo, and slow dances runningbacks to the ground... as long as he's getting the tackle & more importantly being sound against the pass! If he can do that, then I'd also welcome Ray Lewis levels of (on-field only) violence
-
EEEEk. The optics of that *would be* (obv we have no way to ever know ANY of this) infinitely worse than its just his personal stash & he's only sharing lol I didnt even think of that. Thats an Epstein, Diddy, Weinstein move to pull.

This isnt surprising to me. If theres one group i trust this FO in, its the secondary. We saw Bernard look lost and overwhelmed year one. Seems like its a tough rookie year leap in this scheme, but they have a knack for finding high IQ ball players. Let's all hope his slow play last year was due to processing, and we see a major corner getting turned. Man thatd be huge!

Wait, this isnt an actual contract language issue is it? Or youre just saying teams are like "hey youre already getting paid for 2025, so sign here on the cheap, no double dipping" kinda thing. Unless the landing place really serves him well for his next contract, he should tell those teams to kick rocks LOL

Anybody ever worked at an awful company: no-morale, dog-chit job, dimly lit, scowling faces everywhere... and then you get hired at a place where the environment is friendly, boss knows your name and gives you a little warm intro to the rest of the staff.... then you find your desk is right near a genuinely fun to be around kinda dude with similar interests. you look around and ppl are smiling! the cars at your new job's parking are a fairly new looking, compared to the old place with a bungee cords strapping the hood down & trash bags over busted windows.. Yeah, thats what Moore is going through. Dude was uber talented on a tier 1 college team, and landed on two pure trashpile organizations... with awful yet somehow still arrogant Coaches.... his best QB was post-accusation Watson, who's just there to cash his check. Anywho, Moore is experiencing a culture shock for the better. No matter what; I think we get every last drop of juice the guy has in the tank. It's possible we find out there isnt much juice in there, but a good coach's job is to find out and wring the sponge hard. I have no doubt coach is going to have any easy time extracting WHATEVER is in the tank on Moore. Dude is getting a Grade-A crack at receiving the 2nd most targets, on a Josh Allen led team! Hell, Im stoked for him as a person alone.

they have literally ZERO recourse to do this... even if someone(and the crew hes with isnt) went to NFL to tell them about drug use. I bet they get that alllllll the time, former baby mamas and assistant who got stiffed on their last check. Hell, the cops cant/wont do much about a tip that somebody is selling, let alone just using. NFLPA has agreed to the recreational testing once an offseason, during a certain window. Once you pass that, its game on till the following year.
-
Where was this tip back before I got clean in 2020 LOL probably some stepped on trash anyways
-
Likely this.... that said, he might be smart to avoid facilities and any "random" drug tests (if he hasnt yet taken his 'annual window' test). Then again, Id imagine once these guys freshly pass their annual test, while TC is still a ways out...... is probably the "best" time to go apeshiiiii on whatever vices you have

If your hedge is "we're going to carry healthy Bosa into the playoffs as our primary weapon on defense",than yes, you're an idiot.... but thats not what happened and the contract numbers + draft tell us that. Bosa signing was 'prepare as if hes not on the team. Our rookie DL class and the PEDtwins should be firing on all cylinders BUUUUUUUTTTTTT.... wouldnt it be sick if bubble wrapped Joey was healthy for the playoffs as the cherry on top". Im still fine with it. Basically pretend hes not there, and when/if we get him than cool!

Keon Coleman success by route - Not pretty
BillsShredder83 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Id argue Cole Beasley was the 2nd most important player his first 2-3years here. Cool thing with a good slot is volume. Cole had volume for days. Was like a super running back, in that he got tons of touches and was great at getting us to: 2nd-n-short, or more importantly converting 3rd downs. I tend to agree with you. i know an outside guy effects the entire defense more than a slot..... but a slot who gets volume is my fav type of weapon. its steady and reliable. watched brady use that for 2 decades -

nobody w/ SB aspirations care about regular season points. that KC game was a few first downs away from a SB... and our outside WR play was abysmal. Love the dude but Hollins was our best WR that day. Thats a problemmmm -

BillsShredder83 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can you explain what about him makes you think big slot? I just wanna see the dude put in a position to catch the ball and get YAC. He did look filthy on those slants, for as slow as he is, his top end speed SEEMS fast af. Why is it easier to catch the ball off slants from the slot, then say the Z.... neither is on the line. Is it just, in principal, facing a #3 corner instead of a #2? Im tryna learn GBill! -

BillsShredder83 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can you expand on why you think that? genuinely curious what the difference is. Z and a slot arent on the line, whats the benefit to Keon here? More of a football philosophy kinda question, what about Keon screams 'slot' to you. Im kinda revamping my beliefs about what a slot is as of late -
Owners approve a change to the onside kick rule
BillsShredder83 replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like this 4th n 15, but feel the number is off. 10-15% conversion should be the goal.... I don't think 15yards is going to be even close to the right number. No stats in front of me, educated guess on feel.... I'd peg 15yards at ~20ish %. 20yards is 15% 22yards is my sweet spot... 25 is too far, but 20 is like 3rd and 10 after a hold. We see it get converted at an ok'ish rate. Just my opinion -
IDK maybe its a good way to kick off some change, maybe let loose a lil. Coach seems to motivate his guys well, but strikes me is pretty uptight. He could embrace it and let his hair down a little. Id think it might serve him to do so more than anyone else. Coaches are walking heart attacks, if you take out the passion and $$ for a second (just play along for a second), it'd be a pretty crappy job honestly. How many of us would want to ACTUALLY fight from punch in - punch out, day after day?? i know, i know, we all work hard. some of us here have more stressful jobs than others... but being an NFL Coach is quite literally, every moment of your day under a microscope. being asked to control things you just CAN NOT 100% control, and its all the time. Compare one of their slow 'off days' to one of our ours on a Friday here or there... 32 jobs on the planet, and how many ppl gunning constantly for one of em. Coaches can be 72yrs and expected to bring more juice to the table, than a sayyyyy, 4 years past playing days meathead like Mike Vrabel? Let alone a few hundred of the most ambitious humans on the planet. Sounds exhausting..... My job has me ready to blow a valve and its nothing like this job. ........my point is, this could be really fun for the fans, for the players, I'd hope McD will take it as a chance to do the same, and show his locker-room the same. I'm not in the locker room so all i can do is make an estimated guess...... i could be completely off

Eh, I get why Sean would turn it down. A distraction can be a fat pair of knocks in a teeny shirt walking by you, or it can be a crack cocaine habit lol its a spectrum. Its hard to preach lip service about 'no distractions' to the team, and then invite a camera crew in. We def didnt sign up for it, theres nothing we can do to change it, so im just gunna embrace it! Have there ever been any significant distractions Hard Knocks itself brought about? Genuinely asking, but probably not. Might give Cook a lil wind in the sails to gripe, but i cant really think of anything else

Im not surprised, hes been in a full grown mans body since HS lol Going from a college dorm/cafeteria to NFL salary diet, with NFL S&C Coaches, NFL Dietitian. Could NFL level chemists be involved? Sure could lol These dudes DNA dictates how their bodies respond to drugs too. Either way good for him, he should get Kincaid in touch with his guy if thats the case LOL

BillsShredder83 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
"Cheating" isnt up for debate really, both teams play by it. Now theres the 'is it a football play' question... equally ridiculous question IMO. Its the most 'football' play of all time! I get rugby has a similar thing, but two sports can share a once in a while overlap. Hockey is indoor soccer with a stick. Basketball is hockey with a floating net lol its all based off the same crap really -
