  1. Bingo! We are not built for catch up... which sucks with how our defense has been playing. We are a #1 WR away from being able to boat race any team we want if/as needed. I want to build early leads and play ahead too, our DL is built to stop the pass (at the expense of run stopping). What better way to lean into that then trying to get 10-14 points on the board early, and let the DL hunt. More of what they like - pass rushing... less of their weakness - the run game. I'll also add, that a team playing behind, with a ton of defensive pressure is going to make Max EXTRA dangerous. In fact, with the extra youth/athleticism we had out there, Bishop/Hancock can be a lot more dangerous vs a team forced to throw, and we know they have to. Its a formula for turnovers. I'm not asking for the '99 Rams playbook... but I think phase 1 of our game should be to get max points on the board early... play action, intermediate chunk plays. Keep Cook involved in both... As we build a lead, work towards defensive gameplan that encourages turnovers.... 2nd half, we can start leaning more heavily into the 'control the ball' plan, we love so much. You g2 be able to move the ball through the air consistently, to do any of that though
  2. I did, and I'm spit balling maybe got overzealous. However, he's cost controlled through this year, and '26 & '27 (team option). From there you could franchise if needed for '28. That's 3 well below market years under control. A rising star. Vikes are cross conference, no issues there. Vikes are deluding themselves into being a contender this year, you g2 slap them with an offer good enough to get them out of lying to themselves, and to sell to the roster/coaches/fans. WR's are incredibly valuable/costly and impossible to obtain with a later pick. Our first round picks are late in the round. Josh is not getting younger, and this puts us a leg up on every other team, in the most wide open playoff race I can remember. Two 1's and a 3, is not that much more than the cost of trading up to get a WR in mid-rounds, missing, and then taking another shot in a different year..... when you look at our swings and misses at the position, we don't scout it well... and theres no more sunken costs in chasing half-measures. 1. $10m Samuel. 2. 2nd rd Keon (jury still out, but hes ceiling is well below a #1, with floor at a #3/#4) 3. That other Saints WR who I already forget the name of from 2 years ago 4. Josh Palmer jury is very still up in the air, it could have some legs down the road, but he wasnt/probably isnt going to be the guy this year Everything else is sort of rounding into shape with Hairston back, Hancock putting out solid tape. Hoecht looks like a massive WIN. Addison is playing 2nd fiddle to JJ, and is nowhere near his ceiling. WR and Addison puts us over the top. I'm getting dragged a bit above with the "wheres anyone hearing Addison available".... i get it, its not being reported. Hes not on the block. Theyre a little frustrated with him, they cant pay JJ & Addison... they need a QB againnnn. I think a solid offer could benefit both teams. They probably don't WANT to move him yet... but with their unsolved problems and QB play this year, could they really refuse to do it a year early? Maybe... but it just makes so much sense for both parties to me. Draftpicks are over valued, and we showed an interest before. We have relationship w/ team from previous deal. Go get some rings this year, figure the rest out next year with a pretty damn well rounded roster. I think we've all forgot what Josh looked like with a Diggs catching balls.
  3. Its fun because nobody knows or will know lol front office proli told the PR team to check Wikipedia and just throw those stats up 🤣😭🤣
  4. Yes. Cost cant be bad, itd tske a bad front office to tell the man no to a run. Exactly the type of dude you gi after here. Might not get volune of plays, but enough in tank to turn it on when needed. We've expressed interest too before Its fun because nobody knows or will know lol front office proli told the PR team to check Wikipedia and just throw those stats up 🤣😭🤣
  5. Let Hancock and Bishop roll! Max in the mix is nice, i wouldn't shun a mid level corner known for durability. DT we have enough working unless something juicy comes along^^ fully agree with you!! We injected some youth, let the kids show what they got. Dumb the damn dumb defense down if you g2! Call these teams and put in SERIOUSSS offers for WR, that signal seriousness. Two 1st's + 3rd for Addison is my starting point (i want some replacement late round picks back, 6th/7th nothing crazy). Potentially willing to send Coleman back, but initial offer needs tweaking. Hes someone id want in a player for player position swap!! Minny want escalators for Addison production? SB appearance or win? Done. More than fair. Hes a high value prospect, kick their door in and show them youre more serious. Its expensive? It hurts? Look at the sunken costs we've had trying to find an answer... while still not having the answer. Im all for the "buy it once, buy it for life". If you gotta mske a cross country trip with a trunk full of drugs, are you going to trust a Daewoo Lanos Express? To keep a few extra bucks in your pocket? First, I need to make the trip. Everything else is secondary. Im not trying to get pulled over because my tints peeling, I got a dancing bears logo on my bumper, my friend gave me a $200 paint job from IG, worrying about getting towed, sleeping at Crack head motels. JUST SAY NO Priority one, safe trip. No surprises. Handle your biz. Jordan Addison helping Beane keep that Columbian pipeline rippin'... so to speak
  6. This thread hits like craaaack, thank you!!!
  7. Yep thats my issue. Can't be a #2 without volume. Also drive killing drops. We need a #1, but i think he could be nice spelling for Coleman or whatever we have at any given time Id rather have hollins, which again tells the state of affairs
  8. For whatever he got flagged for, common sense says it was a small addition chemically. All the compounds that are going to be huge body changes, linger in the body for testing for a long time, which means hard to take, and especially to only get flagged for only late in the season. Educated guess is it was something small to help recovery on minor to mid nagging type injury. Tl:dr whatever people want to credit from his games to PEDs and think he'll lose his "pop" arent thinking about this correctly. More likely something that changed his strength/explosiveness .0005%, but aided in injury recovery.
  9. Bpc157/TB500 . I fixed both my knees to feel a decade younger in 4 weeks
  10. Honestly im in. Hes a FA. Im sure the nfl is mad and kinda black balling him but maybe he just wants to see the field. Maybe he tried to **** a dude. Is that the worst way to acquire a talent at discount. This is the way the Patriots use to cash in on a player at rock bottom value. Fixer-upper. Might even qualify us for comp pick?
  11. Crediting any blame to Brady for Samuel is bonkers. At least Percy Harvin consistently had the same issue. Samuel is f**** hurt with a different issue every week. Its crazy. I'll say it, hes soft as baby s***
  12. I tried to watch some of that game yesterday, team was atrocious turnover factory. Shaheed gave up an INT that felt more like a fumble in the way it happened. Olave may have fumbled too (???), dont quote me. It was 4 TO's in a half, felt like the whole team had one . It was a flurry of TO's so I zoned out. Unsure if thats uncommon for Shaheed. Im still on board, maybe someone knowqs better than me
  13. They did this with a CB drafted really high, traded him to Carolina, maybe 3 years back? After checking CJ Henderson (9th overall, 2020), was traded ~ week 3 of the following season: "Henderson was traded to the Carolina Panthers with a 2022 fifth-round pick in exchange for tight end Dan Arnold and a 2022 third-round pick" Im not sure how much there is to draw on that, other than their is precedence
  14. Yep, not high on my shopping list, and not even a trade id being looking to pay dividends this year... but if something else like this came along and we wanted to add some competition for him next year, I wouldn't hate it.... but so far down the list, im not paying a serious "in-season premium" to get it done. Not for this type of role. Save the real ammo for WR, S. Could be nice to send a flyer pick out for DT depending on Oliver/TJ Sanders outlook
  15. I didnt know much about him when we got him but I watched a ton of tape. Tasmanian devil today lol He looked like a suped up Lorax today. So pumped to see Hairston, Hoecht and not Rapp some more. That team wasn't a real test, but helluva start!!
  16. Baseball dedicates multiple people to a role doing exactly this. Not only to scout for other teams (pitchers) tells.... but to self scout for that kinda thing, damage control. I doubt nfl uses the same resources specifically for that, but yes somebody is or already has picked up on it. Good catch, if anyone remembers we should do a follow up week to week As long as we pass out of it at a decent clip, im ok with it... 20-25% is enough to keep them honest.... need a few PA in those. Also im sure Josh has multiple audibles if defense looks like theyre fully selling out
  17. Any early names floating around for DC jobs? Aaron Glenn could be interesting . Detroits d played well, did have some rough games when banged up under him. I very much like the 'hot coordinator-> failed HC --> Coordinator. Guy was good at the job your hiring him for, got some valuable experience as HC, go through struggles. Sad about HC, but then get a chance to go back to a more limited/focused role. Usually their first love. Huge morale bump there. Not in love with Glenn as much as that concept ^^^. Who else?
  18. There's a problem there. Needs fresh start. Might have to deal with some BS down the road, but thst team has so many needs and soooo many resources put into WR position there. Took BTJ last year, traded the GD farm for football Ohtani, Dynami Brown in off season added. They paidddd Gabe last year. Huge deal to Christian Kirk few years ago. Zay Jones that same off season too. Those guys are gone but the need to change up their roster construction. I think a player for player + nice draft pick would be a good get for that team too. Btj might be a headache down the road but really I dont care. Dumb way to handle the position... by nature these guys are selfish. Help him get his touches and feel what being on a winning team looks like. Promise him an extension after having a killer year here. Hell give a guy that Kawhi Leonard LLC deal for all i care 😭🤣😭🤣
  19. Im worried for sure. I used to like "thigh doctor" but hes become a bit of a troll and f****n annoying lately. Even before that I always took anything he said with a grain of salt, but id take it with 2 grains now. Hope hes wrong 😭😭😭
  20. Interesting background i found on Hoecht. I knew he was versatile as an "edge", but God dang I didnt know he played DT LOL Lorenzo Alexander part 2.... dude was 310 as a rookie..... Baffling how big he is, I dunno why i thought he was a bit more compact. Quote "Michael Hoecht's weight has varied, but he is currently listed around 267-297 pounds with the Buffalo Bills, having been listed at his rookie weight of 310 pounds when he entered the league. He has intentionally reduced his weight since entering the NFL to better suit his role as a versatile defensive player. Current weight: Listed at 267 lbs for the Buffalo Bills and 297 lbs in a recent Madden video game rating. Previous weight: Weighed 310 pounds when he entered the NFL. Weight reduction: He has actively worked to lower his weight from his rookie size to improve his performance, with his "sweet spot" identified as being between 268 and 278 pounds. "
  21. LOLLLLLLLLL beautifully painted in my mind, TY for that hahahahaha!!
  22. Last I saw he was in historically bad company on pressure rate or something similar. I forget exactly what.... but add that in to forceable R-word's, and a giant no thanks from me. Im willing to overlook more off field stuff than almost anyone else, but that and anything with kids is a no from me.
  23. Ahhhh thatd be why. I havent watched that type of ESPN Show since I got off the bus in High School. I don't hate ESPN as much as most, they have some good stuff, but the day time TV stuff is unwatchable. Im surprised I hadnt heard of him once until that Leonard story broke. I didnt see the episode he put out on Lombardi, but that Florio write up is a pretty doo-doo format to try and convey whatever the story is. Florio writes like a middle schooler lol
  24. Pablo Torre is an ABSOLUTE BEASTTTTTT. He came out of nowhere to me, and immediately wanted to hate him for all the sudden being all over everything. That Khawi research was bomb. I went back and watched one on the Terry Rozier thing yesterday after all that NBA news broke out, and my mind was blown at the info, and especially the details he was able to dig out. He's the real deal folks! With that said, I cant say I care much about this story, but def understand why it's news. A dude in his shoes, who acts a bit more humble, probably doesnt get found out LOL ---Specifically "Collusion-Gate" episode about the NFLPA and JC Tretter, and that story about collusion around Lamar & Deshaun Watson that came out. ... that episode is absolutely A++ , shocking dirt dug up there.
