  1. Agreed. At that point he and his agent (I am assuming) thought the money (after the pay cut) from the Bills was still more than he would get on the open market and/or/combination that staying in Buffalo for close to what he would get on the open market was worth it.
  2. No, don't release him. If we can trade him for something good I would be fine with that. But, I wouldn't accept just anything. I would want a 5th round pick at minimum. If we can get a 6th or 7th I say let him do what he needs to do.
  3. Seems like they are throwing sh*t to the wall and seeing if something sticks!
  4. Is this different than Bob Woods being crazy!? So, you are saying on the crazy/attractive chart starting with craziest Watkins, then Richie, then Zay. And Bob Woods is off the chart because he is frickin’ crazy!? Nice, well played. Super Troopers 2 comes out in days on 4/20. Pretty excited. Haha, funny and true, sorta. Lets get back to basics Zay. Good things.
  5. I can’t disgree. I would say he is somewhere between your opinion and mine. I agree I wouldn’t want Tannehill either.
  6. I consider Allen and Jackson question marks and 50/50 shots. So, I wouldn’t consider them busts. So, I would only consider Rosen, Darnold and Mayfield potential busts. I went with Darnold.
  7. Manziel...no thank you
  8. Tannehill seems to be a limited QB. He can only dink and dunk and make short passes. IMO Tannehill is slightly better than TT and I would consider that in the bottom 8 or 9 QBs.
  9. Agreed He is not a #1 like Julio, Dez and AJ were. However, I do agree it is a great safety valve for a young QB which is invaluable.
  10. I know their cap this year has lots of room, BUT, how does that impact their cap down the road? Can they put most or all of the signing bonus front loaded?
  11. I just don’t believe in paying a slot WR #1 WR money. But, with Cleveland’s cap, if they can front load the deal, it may work?
  12. I like the hat. Also eball, I am a big fan of your avatar. For years it has been cracking me up! Maybe ten years?
  13. Garbage seems like a strong term, but, I agree he isn’t good enough to be on our team. So, I would think he is a camp body. I hope he is not on our team.
  14. I was thinking Michael Keaton in Batman with Jack Nicholson.
  15. You want to get nuts, ok, let’s get nuts!
  16. Hopefully we get two of those players. Our QB and MLB. Seems like a huge challenge and up hill run to do so. It would almost have to be the perfect string of events for 3 hours. Not good odds! Get our QB!! I think ZERO chance he drops out of the first round. 90% confident he goes in the top 15. 60% he goes in the top 10. 20% he goes top 5.
  17. To answer your questions IMO... 1. I would NOT be upset if the QB we draft does not start 2. Yes, AJ will most likely start barring injury 3. AJ will have as good an opportunity as TT to have success. He can take us to the playoffs. If he can’t he could be close or a career back up. But, he has enough around him 4. Yes, giving up our 1st next year scares me and just started to this week. But, trust the process and Billieve we trade up for the right QB. You have to go for it! IF you think that QB is the right guy Go Bills!!
  18. Fuk the Fish! Seriously I thought Gase would do well and he still may. But, I think this is his last year (without a big improvement). And, hope it is. He is working with less. Unless they miraculously get the right QB in this draft and the rookie starts and carries the team.
  19. The only thing interesting about this is Mayock seems to be on the straight and narrow not doing Pats* propaganda like Schefter and others. I also like Mayock’s evaluations the most on a consistent basis every year!
  20. Sure. But, it would almost be guaranteed a one year deal. i think he was #7 or 8 overall pick and this is his 4th year? So, you don’t pick up the 5th year. If he does well he hits FAs and gets paid or we franchise him. One year rental with some potential and expensive cap hit..maybe $6 million? But, he could be a number #2 and we don’t have a #2. I say sure.
  21. I would say...yet to be determined or both. But, agree with NoSaint that it is not necessarily the case that Beane covets picks the most.
  22. Debatable. I think I agree better, but, wouldn’t say far better.
