  1. IF this is true when Darnold went at #3 the Bills let their only top tier QB left on their board sit there at 4, 5, 6. So, they were willing to take their second tier QB and wait and hope Allen wasn’t pick. Not necessarily going to get their guy. But, did got put them with striking distance to get one of their top 2 QBs. Intersting and plausible.
  2. Russ Brandon sold out a Team in a League that sells out in a City that always sells out and was thought of being impressive by some. Not I. Kim will do better as she will do things for the right reason for the City, fans and Team! She will not have alterier motives sacrificing one for the other and her personal best interests firsts. A good leader listens to their team and talents that surround them. Kim does that!! We are in a better position today than two days ago! Go Bills!
  3. Exactly my opinion which is pretty much fact. He just didn’t have the complete skill set. But, loved his effort.
  4. Injuries happen on our teams and other teams. I would think they would trade him if they could get something for him and have time to wait for the situations to develop.
  5. Agreed, unless I am missing something! I don’t think so Agreed, mind blown! Trade down if you want Ward. But, I still think that wouldn’t have been there best move!
  6. Hmmm, probably a good idea for the Chargers. Not calling the Charges San Diego is still weird.
  7. Culley is the one surprise for me this offseason. I thought he would move to WR Coach and we would get a solid QB Coach. But, I hope it works out. His job is sooo important over the next couple years!
  8. Cautiously optimistic on Allen. He is our guy and I am pumped for him to reach his ceiling! Let's see this happen! I am confident Allen was #1 or #2 for QB's on our board. So, that is a solid execution of the process IMO.
  9. Edmunds is so exciting for sooo many reasons! PS. He has a similar face and nose to Talley?! Yes, no?
  10. If either of these guys are there when we pick in the 4th I would be excited!
  11. No matter the health concerns I would be happy taking him in the 5th and fine with the 4th.
  12. I would like a high ceiling WR and Olinemen or two Olinemen.
  13. IMO Rosen wasn't selected because he didn't fit what we were looking for in the leader of our team. Character and leadership qualities are lacking.
  14. I am very intrigued if he is available in the 4th when we pick.
  15. Agreed. Ya, if there is a special RB I would be fine with them too. But, not in my top 5 positions like most folks.
  16. I like Rudolph to the Steelers for both the Steelers and Rudolph. I think it is a great fit!
  17. I think Mayfield is/was the best QB in the draft. I thought it was a good pick. The Ward pick blows my mind. A DE with Chubb's talent vs a CB? Mind blowing. How many CBs are worth a top 5 pick. This Century I can think of Revis. But, he went mid teens. One of the problems with drafting a CB that high is if you hit on that CB when you resign them you are looking at $15 million a year. I don't think you should use that cap space on a CB. Another is CBs typically have a shorter prime to their careers.
  18. Totally agree! It was a great Bill moment on so many levels!
  19. That would explain the top dollar we paid for the trade. Which is fine. The most important part of "the process" is to determine who they guy is. IF you can do that, then you can over pay. The two seconds weren't a crazy over pay, but, more than market value to move up 5 spots.
  20. AGREED AGREED AGREED AGREED AGREED mostly. But, I don't think we are going to go crazy in FA ever. I think we will have similar plans in FA as the last two years and save our cap for resigning our players that excel in our system and help drive our culture. I hope so and think so too. AGREED and look forward to it. We are not going to hit on all our players though, so, we can't expect the FO too hit on all the players. Go Bills! And, great post, thanks!
  21. I feel the Edmunds to Kuechly comparison may be close. That is so exciting. Kuechly seemed closer to a finished product when he left College. I think Allen is way more of a project than Wentz, but, that is okay. But, I get the comparison in style.
