  1. Seems he has trouble with the smaller, faster ends that can beat him around the end. Being 6’8” obviously has its advantages with the length and punch, but to my eye it seems it has to sit down in his set more. I agree with you, I’m sure he’s learning new techniques with Kromer, and is most likely suffering through some learning mistakes. He’s been much better the last cpl of weeks so hopefully he’s starting to feel more comfortable after not having a proper training camp, and back surgery.
  2. This is amazing. Buon Natale! Merry Xmas! ❤️ go bills! Forza Buffalo!
  3. All these electronic abbreviations got my head spinning and quitting mid paragraph lol…what now
  4. Im talkin about our fellow AFC Eastern rivals
  5. Great weekend for the bills baby! We take 1 step forward, they all take 1 step back!
  6. Critical would imply that it’s necessary to win a Super Bowl so of course not, but it’s huge. Getting to the bowl only playing 2 games vs 3 isn’t worth any discussion imo, along with the ability to never need to leave home. I think you’re only thinking about the actual game being played, and not the entire logistics of traveling, lodging, practicing, recovery, etc that comes with the high seed. It affords a luxury that would put our players in the best position to win.
  7. I thought he just had a cramp and came back after an iv?
  8. You play 1 less game! That’s huge
  9. I honestly can’t understand how anybody can disagree or give you a thumbs down on this topic. Lack of route concepts, clear out routes when you’re only running 3 wide outs, deep concepts with backup lineman that can’t stop a nose bleed, no threat to run the ball until the last drive. I mean c’mon, Diggs is all over the field in the first half and then can’t get a sniff in the 2nd?! Is the dolphins adjustments so good that you can counter? The whole operation needs to be better. Thank god Allen can run around. The saving grace is we have enough good players that we can have these conversations after a win, but if we want a Super Bowl win, some things need to be figured out, and getting Beasley up to speed is a start.
  10. I feel bad for the kid, he’s trying to make a play for his team, for his career. It’s hurt him and it’s hurt us. He needs to be better, in a very limited role.
  11. I for one was sick of hearing about the weather the day it was being reported. The fact anybody needs to rely on Mother Nature to give a reason to beat a division opponent is scary. The weather didn’t affect Miami in the slightest, they showed up, Tua played well, Mostert ran roughshod over us, and we let banana balls over the top kill us. Miami is a good team, the difference was we have a QB who decided to take the game away from them, in a way maybe another qb can’t do.
  12. My gripe as well. Def seems to be an inflexibility and a failure to adapt on the fly. Great players can cover up some blemishes, and you saw that last night particularly with Hamlin vs Hyde. Hamlin has the ability to come up and make a hit but he misses far too many tackles and was consistently out of position to help over the top on long balls. I’m incredibly happy to beat a good team, but we def need to get better quick in a number of areas. These coordinates can’t die on their crosses
  13. I’m more concerned w Morse, as he’s had a history of concussions and if I remember correctly, he was contemplating retirement after the last one. Hes been our best lineman this year and could spell bad news if we lose him for any considerable amount of time.
  14. Again, no coach or player is above reproach when warranted. We all support this team, and when you have your heart in something, feelings come out, that’s just how it is. Josh Allen covers up a lot of bad by running every play on that 4th quarter drive. He essentially saved the game after 5 straight disgusting offensive series. There’s still a disconnect and lack of fluidity in the short to intermediate pass game, and a constant divergence from the run game. The loss of Morse, and insertion of Van Roten, Hart, and Quessenberry…and still looking to throw the ball down the field 30 yards was baffling to me, as was running parallel to the line of scrimmage behind Hart, who ended up pancaked and Singletary on his back 4 yards behind the line of scrimmage. I do believe that it’s always execution over play calling but you need to help your players on the field, and sometimes protect them. Know your personnel and adapt. Dorsey is still inexperienced and i expect them to get better. All that being said, this team has huge heart, and finding ways against good teams.
  15. You can’t throw things at players…doesn’t matter what it is, are we morons?
  16. The issue w/ McKenzie is he doesn’t do well against zone defense, he’s a man beater. Think when the Pats played him last year, he was able to get over the top of the lb’s time and time again. Defenses typically play the bills in a 2 man shell, meaning 2 safeties over the top that can help on Diggs and Davis. That leaves McKenzie underneath to find that soft spot in between, something he’s not great at, which is exactly what Cole Beasley is great at. Further more, these longer developing routes take too much time, time the offensive line isn’t giving Allen. The built in ancillary routes from Cook, Hines, and McKenzie aren’t finding those spaces, allowing Josh to have trust there. Cole will give him that safety blanket underneath, where he can read the defenders and sit down where JA can see him, which will force defenses to account for. This will allow Isaiah to move back into more of a motion, move player that can shift defenses, moving one defender from one side of the defense to the other, which in turn can open things up for the opposite side player.
  17. Also, the guy has a high ankle sprain. I’m sure that tiny hesitation in his kick-slide or being a quarter step slower due to the injury affects him, causing him to grab at the defender. Us fans have no patience sometimes, 🤦‍♂️. We’ll have a tackle w/ one eye and complain he didn’t see someone coming. That being said, I hate when edge rushers try to bend the corner fall down and tackles get called for the hold, which happened to Dawkins in this game.
  18. Honestly, I’d say 99% of the players don’t want to play in it, including our own. Not many players are comfortable being uncomfortable. The last 1% are the guys that can find the fun in it, like Dion Dawkins. That doesn’t mean I don’t think the team has the mental toughness to do so, just that they’d rather not.
  19. All good points, I would like to watch the all-22 and see if our receivers are winning at the tops of their routes. Our offensive line just doesn’t seem good enough to rely on these late developing routes consistently. Dorsey can have the best play concept but if you don’t have the guys to execute, it’s going to break down. Just doesn’t seem to come easy lately, which of course against a good defense, that happens, but def need to do more and be better going into the playoffs.
  20. The lack of a short passing game that we started the year off w/ has baffled me. Where did it go? Everything seems to be 25 yards downfield and if it’s not there the play breaks down. You have Hines and Cook who have speed and can catch the ball and yet we don’t use them. A win is a win but the game plan this week was awful. Players need to execute better no doubt, from Allen to the receivers catching the ball.
