  1. And one of those reasons is they don't have Sean McDermott as their HC.
  2. Bring you to the playoffs, but not put you over the top. That sounds like a Head Coach that we all know and love.
  3. Living here in Detroit surround by Lions crazies it would be: "Lions Win Super Bowl Before Buffalo Bills". The Lions are legit. The difference between Dan Campbell and Sean McDermott is like night and day.
  4. Good old Pete, the guy who purposely ran up the score and put up 50 pts on the Bills in 2012 when they played in Toronto. Ah, the Toronto series, that's a part of Bills history we all would like to forget.
  5. You are correct. It finally dawned on me this site and all of us don't really exist. It is run by an NFL AI bot using Chat Gpt.
  6. I'll be watching, but man it sucks being most likely out of the playoff picture this early and wishing for "tank for the draft" mode once again.
  7. Wonder if we can trade McDermott and Beane for Daboll and Schoen?
  8. WNY Kid - from Canandaigua
  9. and Houston gets Josh Jones and a 7th in exchange for their 5th...... ouch.
  10. Dawkins, he should change his nickname to the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man - fat, slow and soft.
  11. From what he has shown so far, it looks like Kincaid indeed has the potential for a great career. Now, we need to hope Dorsey and McDermott put him in positions to succeed. I'm not holding my breath on that happening.
  12. People here in Detroit are also excited because the Lions signed "Pro Bowler" Bobby Hart too!
  13. I hope in his garden he is growing as a flower and not as crabgrass.
  14. And kicked him in the backside on his way out the door with a $60 million fine. Now all the supposed dirt he has on the Commish, Jerry and the others may be rolling out soon.
  15. Joe Namath said the same thing!
  16. Our arch enemy TB12 needed an injury to break into NE's lineup. Unfortunately for the rest of the NFL, it worked pretty well for him and the Pats, I believe.
  17. Here in Detroit the local sports talk station "97.1 - The Ticket" is owned by the same company that owns WGR. The on-air personalities are worlds better than at WGR. But. in fairness to WGR, here we have the Lions. Wings, Tigers and Pistons to digest in addition to UM and MSU. College fb and bb are big here. Tough to fill time with just Bills and Sabres talk.
  18. The axe has to be just getting sharpened. It's hard to believe out of a population of 1,600+ plus players that only 5 were involved. But, then again, not sure the NFL wants this to get fully exposed for the reasons noted elsewhere in this thread.
  19. Allen and Diggs will be fine. However, I can only imagine the drama if the Bills do manage to acquire Hopkins. The first game Allen would throw more balls to Hopkins than Diggs, Stef will erupt like a volcano.
  20. Ralph was indeed cheap. But thanks to a number of the sly and costly clauses he built into the stadium lease related to a team move upon sale helped ensure we still have an NFL team in Buffalo today. Plus, the $1.5 billion his foundation donated to rebuild the waterfront here in Detroit was greatly appreciated.
  21. Or, the smokescreen is we don't have Edmund's replacement on the roster and he really does want Robinson. Hopefully not, but never say never with Beane.
  22. The contract value for DT's is going up substantially. Oliver won't command Simmons-type money, but will still probably get someone to overpay for his services. Just let that someone not be the Bills.
  23. Surprised Kelly didn't say the Bills goofed by not bringing in his nephew Chad to be our backup QB. Give Allen more OL help and he will be fine.
  24. Whew, too complicated for my simple brain. My consensus on all these evaluators is if they were really good at what they do they would be working in an NFL team's front office vs. generating clicks out on the internet.
  25. I agree with good but not sure if cheap enough given what is left in the Bills salary cap piggy bank. This year has been tough re: salary cap $$$, but will become tougher in 2024 and 2025. You can only kick the can down the road for so long while hoping for those big future annual cap $$ increases.
