  1. Nice job! I have been thinking Rudolph to Steeler myself, makes perfect sense. Don't think Chubb falls that far. Love the Bills move.
  2. Good post. I agree with most of what you say. I think the Bills have to get to 2 to be sure if Rosen is really the guy they want. I don't think as you say the Browns will take Rosen after the comments. It's likely Darnold, but I have a suspicion Mayfield may be their guy. FWIW I had a feeling it was going to be Allen (which would be great for us), but now I don't think Dorsey can afford to go there. He will go the less project route and steer clear of Allen JMO. It still may require us getting to 8 or 5 first and then making a second trade up. But, I am in favor of at least getting to 3, then we can have one of what I consider the 3most likely successful QB (Rosen, Mayfield, Darnold), not projects (Allen, Jackson, Rudolph).
  3. Disagree. O'Brien was a good, perhaps very good, QB who had success with the Jets. From memory he led the league in passing and made the Pro Bowl on some very good Jets teams. Eason wasn't terrible, he was serviceable perhaps good at one point, and QB the Patriots to the SB one year but had a relatively short career. So perhaps meh you're right there. Blackledge was a washout. So 3 HOFs, 1 very good , 1 meh to decent, 1 washout. Probably can't expect any better in any QB draft.
  4. It makes a ton of sense to move him now and get something for him before the mileage and talent come crashing down. He is still good and I like him, it is the smart thing to do. Use him to help move up and draft a QB and draft/sign a replacements for Shady. We definetly could use a power back and a receiving back
  5. Most of them have identified the same 3. Jackson, Rudolph and Allen are a tier below because they require alot of develpment.
  6. I want us to get to no worse than 3 probably #2. I've identified 3 QBs (as others have) who will be successes (Darnold, Rosen, Mayfield). The other guys are more of the project type. These guys can get it done in the NFL. Josh Rosen is my #1 target, I want the best passer in the draft.
  7. Washington is going to be tough to beat. Hometown kid and they want him.
  8. I bet every single one of them had a toke or two in their time! Old scouts smh
  9. Surprise QB Drew Brees. Payton is in love with his replacement Mayfield.
  10. Good small sample size > bad small sample size!
  11. I'm surprised at how well he actually has shown by the stats!
  12. I can wish can't I? Only helps the Bills
  13. In Buffalo she could at least see the Joe Webb package!
  14. Browns new QB backed up by Josh Allen?
  15. It might be he is better suited to off coverage in our system as he ages.
  16. I bet he ends up in Washington, they want him, he's from there.
  17. I keep seeing this and I'm not sold he can get that much just because Sportrac has him at 9. We shall see..I doubt it though! If it is the case that is too much for an oft injured guy.
  18. I know he was a good player a couple years ago. But, it appears he turns 30 in May. Is he still a good player? Anybody? I believe they are just trying to get some leverage with Gaines.
  19. I didn't know it had started already!
  20. Hey Shaw! Do you have sources or are surmising this? I've been a fan of the Cousins idea because of the draft capital still being available to build the roster. I will admit that the Rosen trade up idea is intriguing though. We'd still have some high picks. Your thoughts?
  21. It is his job, he could have turned it down. He just got here, and makes a lot of money. His job is a challenge, and I'm sure he's looking forward to solving it.
  22. That's fair. I trust that McBeane will do their due diligence. Short of being a cross between Leaf/ Jeff George and Cutler I don't see a problem. If he just intelligent, has opinions and interests it should not be a problem IMO. My QB doesn't need to be a one-dimensional lug nut. He needs to put the work in and be dedicated, but I think people get carried away with football, football, football...if you know what I mean!
  23. What is he required to do so that you deem him as loving football?
