  1. Smokescreen! Make me a ridiculous offer and I'll see if 4 number ones is enough......Nah keep going not enough yet...and BTW, BUFFALO we now are thinking about taking Rosen number 1.
  2. Jesus !@#$ing goddamn !@#$ing Cancer !@#$ing sucks! My Best Jimbo
  3. Next to the Rosen possibilities for the Bills, I think this news makes me the next happiest!
  4. This is what I think too. I also think they have the framework of a deal in place with the Giants. Heck if they get to number 2 it doesn't matter what others think anyway, they will get a franchise candidate.
  5. When I used to coach ice hockey I took a puck to the mouth that resulted in about 50 stitches. Bleed like a bleeping pig all over the rink, in my friends truck etc. Then they got it contained in the emergency room and bandaged. The nurse was then told to get it prepped for stitching. She then proceeded to tear of the bandage and in the process created a "bleeder", it was shooting all over in a stream. They all flipped out and couldn't get it stopped. Very disconcerting....one of the idiots actually said "don't worry, you have a lot of blood!". A friggin' priest walked in and started saying prayers. I'm thinking holy **** this must be worst than I thought...last rites. Eventually this army doctor, just back from Iraq, walks in, calmly grabs a device to cauterize it... stops it.. and says relax everyone I've seen gunshot wounds much worse! .......Then starts the stitching.
  6. I'm not sure that is a fit in Buffalo with this regime. He seems like he will take awhile if he ever gets there. That doesn't sound like a good risk, reward for the chance his physical skills make him a bit better long term. My five Josh Rosen Sam Darnold Baker Mayfield Mason Rudolph Josh Allen Lamar Jackson Oh wait that is 6!
  7. https://accuprosports.com/mock-drafts/ Galko has the trade with the Giants in his new mock as well. I would also like to point out to those who think the Giants wouldn't do this that they can completely rebuild the OL (which needs to be done), and protect Eli. McGlinchey, Wynn and Cordy Glenn are a great step in this direction. They have receivers and could get a good back in round 2 , maybe Sony Michel. That is one hell of an offensive rebuild!
  8. I read the article and did NOT get the same take that this is bad news. Of course it is going to take alot to move up number 2.
  9. This is a very intelligent way to deal with this. I like the idea of getting multiple options at work as it just increases the probability of getting it right. If you end up with 2 QBs ...well that's a great problem to have.
  10. All in on negativism I see. Everywhere I see you post today its the same thing. Get real troll.
  11. This is my feeling as well. Especially given the Giants today saying they are not moving on from Eli. The Giants look alot better with Cordy Glenn and a couple of lineman or a back with our picks.
  12. Dareus Part 2? Nah....this regime has no interest in this type of player.
  13. Man that is a big paw as well as wing span!
  14. You said awhile back "we're moving up-book it". I guess you still feel that way...and if you're right I'm loving it!
  15. Indeed this is almost assuredly an attempt to maximize his value on the market.
  16. This quote makes me wonder if bringing in another CB who could start on the outside isn't an option McB is seriously considering. The thought of Davis on Edelman in the slot is intriguing.....bringing in another boundary corner (Gaines) if it fits within our cap dimensions, or drafting a good one is dirty. We switched to an awful lot of nickel last year.
  17. Great, well thought out post! You are a good addition to this board.
  18. I want us to move up and draft an intelligent, and talented passer like Josh Rosen. If some can't handle his political views shame on you.
  19. https://accuprosports.com/grades/ And #30 out of 36 mock drafters is Chad Reuter. He usually does this bad too, not a fluke!
  20. FWIW. He was one of the lowest rated players at his position by PFF. To the eye, he looks like a poor mans David Harris. Not real fast, but heady, makes tackles, weak in coverage against quick backs and receivers. I don't know what he wants, but its not a huge loss to let him go because he's not that great.
  21. We should be looking to organize our backfield the way teams like the Pats and Eagles, by featuring different guys in specialized roles. The depth and injury problem is reduced and you don't have to spend as much as you would with frontline RB talent.
  22. I think we need some power in the backfield...no more TOLBERT....perhaps Ivory can fill that. Michel is a good receiver and blocker as well, could be Shady II. I don't think he's been overused in college either.
  23. His name is Sony Michel! Git R done McBeane.
