You're right it is a great story! Unless you are an NFL scout and are correct and they're all wrong. Maybe you're Chris Trapasso.
There is no argument otherwise that Rudolph is so much better talent than our 5th round guy he should go with #12.
For those on this thread who have been worrying about the second round pick status and the Bills screwing up- try and put humanity above your petty nonsense for once. Also, keep in mind that many saw him as about a clean a prospect as there is. But hey go ahead and overreact because that's what you do.
Mason Rudolph upside= AJ McCarron upside but one was a 5th round pick.

Plus AJ has NFL experience now, MR belongs no where near #12. We have that kind of upside right now!
I've been away on my annual golfing vacation to Alabama and the RTJ Trail (haven't posted recently).
So Alabama gets me thinking about AJ McCarron and people on these threads shilling for Mason Rudolph at #12
I see we are in agreement as is usually the case. Below are where each stood after the combine -dead even!
I would also add small caveat that AJ McCarron has experience in the NFL which puts him ahead.
IMO we already have our Mason Rudolph potential wise.....don't draft him with number 12...AJ was a 5th for a little perspective.

These two are above the rest in McBeane world imo. Accurate passers, size, can make all the throws, stand in the pocket. Rosen better thrower, Darnold is a little cleaner character supposedly, moves better. I think they love those 2.
With the announcement that Tyrod is the QB for 2018 and no competition by Hue Jackson I'm thinking the Qb they are after is.............Josh Allen.......because Rosen starts Day 1, Mayfield will see the field early ,Darnold need a half a season perhaps. Very definitive statement by Hue Jackson.
