    I think this is a good move-if done. He's experienced 15-15 as a starter, 60% completion, 81 QBR, average QB. You can win for a week or two with him....That's a decent backup. Best part is he's only probably 4-5 million. And, it means tradeup for Rosen,Darnold, Mayfield. If we draft one of those guys I want him playing...not sitting behind McCarron.

    Nice work. Glad you've come to my way of thinking on this. I've been saying this since the Taylor trade. It is all a very plausible scenario, maybe the most likely one imo. We have to remember there are many other variables and scenarios, many of which are truly random, yet to play out. Let's hope for the best!

    The results are fine. I likely would mean we waited until draft day and hoped Mayfield falls to 10- which I highly doubt. We should be more aggressive and move up instead of hoping some pipe dream occurs.
