  1. I remember playing the Sega sports nfl games when Jim Kelly had a 65 rating
  2. I think the point is to get rid of underperforming expensive guys, not inexpensive overachieving UDFA's, or am I missing something?
  3. I may be the minority, but I am good with all these young QB's turning out great. As long as we have a great QB, the rivalries and battles between all these young men will be great to watch.
  4. If Allen takes the step I predict he will, then this will be the best team since at least 1999.
  5. Zay isn't a good option as a #1 guy, but he is a great #3 or #4 at worst. He may still be a solid #2. He had a bad start but has shown growth. I don't see them parting ways this year. If he has a bad year, then maybe next offseason, but I think the chances of him being off the roster week 1 are slim.
  6. Well, I have heard she has soft hands. Great at finding the soft spot in the zone too.
  7. Fair point, I would be good with giving him a shot at this point.
  8. I remember seeing him in the second round towards the end of the season. Sometimes guys get blown up by the media but to the guys doing the drafting there has been no change in where the player is rated.
  9. I, like some others I have read, no longer want him to retire. I want him to show his age and suck.
  10. I don't expect that Fisher will ever be a top notch receiving TE, but if he can develop into a solid blocking TE who has a but of recieving talent, that would be good to have.
  11. If Wade Philips was an option I would go with him. Since he is not, I go with Fewell.
  12. I am not saying that I believe Williams will be a failure, but I am definitely taking a wait and see attitude with him. The Rams cut him in the 2016 preseason and he has been described as unable to gain separation. Hopefully he has developed more in the CFL, and I hope he does well for us, but I do not see him as a guy we should change plans for. I will gladly eat crow if he ends up being a good player for us.
  13. I agree, and I find it painful as well. This was not like their win against Atlanta or Seattle, where if the other team just did what they were supposed to, the Patsies would lose. They were the better team tonight for sure. But I still hate them and this was probably the worst Super Bowl since I started watching football in 1991.
  14. I think Daboll's input would be valued if they were trying to choose between a guy he knows and another player he does not. I don't believe he has enough clout to influence them to pick a running back in rd 1 when I don't believe they would otherwise.
  15. It would have been great to see Brady choke for once and throw the game ending INT. Frustrating that it didn't happen.
  16. The only player I want to see get injured is Gronk. This is only after what he did to Tre White last year. Brady I just hopes hangs on long enough to get old and decline. It has to happen sooner or later, right?
  17. We could still roll over somewhere around 19 million, that is still a significant amount. However, I am more worried about putting the right pieces in place than saving money. No reason to not be smart with the cap though.
  18. Ragland would definitely be last as he did absolutely nothing for us and was traded for a 4th after being drafted in the second. I want to say Aaron Williams is #1 on that list but there is serious consideration for Byrd who had some good years for us before his less than awesome final year and departure.
  19. They focus on the Bill's because they traded the pick to KC. However there were 9 picks ahead of where Mahomes was picked and I bet those teams would rather have Mahomes than the players they drafted. Oh well, the Mahomes talk won't be going away anytime soon, IMO. We'll be hearing about it his whole career as long as he plays at this level.
  20. Kyle has earned this rating as he has caught 100% of his targets over his career.
  21. I know I'm feeding the troll here, but the last thing this team lacks is heart. After Brady and Belichek retire and the Pats fall into mediocrity, many of you Pats fans will be looking for a new team. As a member of Bill's Mafia let me say, go elsewhere we don't want you here.
  22. To me, after this season ends he gets kind of a blank slate. The playoff drought ending no longer matters and neither does the debacle that was the first half of this season. I agree with many of the complaints. There are also a lot of things I like from him. McBeane should get the chance to put things together the way they have presumably planned and we need to see how it comes together next season.
