I think we match up best against teams with weak defenses. For that reason, I think the Home NE game is a better bet than this week's game against NO and at the Chiefs.

I am not ready to get my hopes too high yet. That being said, I don't buy into the idea that playing this type of football isn't sustainable. Maybe not to this level, but to some degree I see this as being the norm. Offensively, we have been good about not giving up turnovers since Tyrod has been under center. Defensively, these guys are taking advantage of mistakes as well as creating turnovers. Maybe they are doing extra tipped-ball drills in practice or something, but I do not agree that it is mostly luck.

Sam Gash, I don't know that he was a non-star, because he made the pro-bowl here. But, he was a FB and the position is often overlooked.

I don't have a problem with this. I think this year is going to be a down year anyway. The schedule looked tough and we did lose some talent. I have no issue with looking toward future years. That said, I am not really on board with the whole tanking idea.
