  1. It's not your money once you spend it. It is now their money.
  2. That's pretty much how I remember it, without the Mexican family. My friend sat next to Bon Jovi- he was rooting for the Bills.
  3. don't forget is was about 50 degrees and a heavy downpour all game. That game defined the Kay Stephenson era. The 1984 team may have been our worst of all time. A couple weeks earlier in front of a wonderful crowd of 31000, Denver crushes us 37-7, I actually left in the 3rd qtr, me and my brother suffering from brutal hangovers couldn't bear to sit through anymore. Probably the 2 worst games I ever attended. excluding super bowl 26 and 27. Super Bowls XXVI and XXVII really sucked to be at. I was ready to leave at halftime of both games but had nothing else to do.
  4. I don't hold the SD game against him, but I don't understand the love for him either. If he is the best option out of camp, so be it. Allen is our QB of the future, the sooner he's ready to start, the better.
  5. Downhill runner, north and south runner, depends on the spot(no kidding), he's a football player- with gruden gone now, we might not hear that one as often.
  6. Maybe, but it's also possible that with good coaching, Edmunds improves quickly, which I would expect to happen. And we only play Brady twice, we play some crappy QB's too.
  7. I could see our defense and special teams being strong enough to get us in the playoffs, but I think there is too much transition going on with the offense to expect a lot. And we really don't have a QB yet, they are important.
  8. Strat-o-matic football was intense.
  9. Yep, I was there. Crazy
  10. Kay Stephenson was the one who got the play in late, later became one of our worst head coaches ever. I think the next play, Ferguson overthrew an open Hooks? in the endzone.
  11. But Tebow kneels down during games.... he should do that on his own time, not ours.
  12. Raisenettes!
  13. He was smart to take all the hits now, when it was affordable to do so. I think most successful teams have an idea of cap spending by position and Beane will stay with that structure as well as possible. You expect to pay a lot for tackles, QB's , WR and pass rushers... I don't think he likes paying a RB as much as McCoy gets but he's a special player and we can afford him. We'll have great flexibility in the next few years and will have the resources to make the big move if we are 1 player away.
  14. Maybe the rest of the league is really bad this year.
  15. Bills fans are certainly #1 in their opinion of themselves.
  16. He had an argument... Lofton created about 5 yards space. Yes
  17. They actually sounded very much alike. But it was Meltzer. He had a great play by play voice.
  18. ballsiest call for sure.
  19. Two excellent choices.
  20. I've mentioned this before. If my employees knelt down peacefully for 45 seconds(longer if Aretha Franklin singing) before work started, I wouldn't care. So you are not entirely correct.
  21. maybe he only referred to legal consequences.
  22. I agree with this statement. I guess I'm tired of the 'on their own time' crap. They are always representing the team, that's why off the field legal issues are built into contracts to allow teams to cut them and get some signing bonus back. It's a technicality, but yes, the owners just don't want it on game day.
  23. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/nfl-admits-no-official-vote-national-anthem-policy-article-1.4009450 Not really a unanimous vote. When are they not on the company dollar? Some have multi year contracts which pay them throughout the playing season, workout season, signing bonuses which are spread out over the life of the contract. They are almost always on the company dollar.
